Joe Says I'm UnAmerican Because I've never Seen...

And I take it that you have not seen Fritz the Cat neither. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young -
As far as I can tell is this superhighway is for commerce only, unlike the roads that are in use now. From Ron Paul; I've heard about this highway since the days of Daddy Bush back in the late 80's but never nothing more than a blip on the screen. I first heard of it while working on the railroad. Here is another link that may be of interest for some; http://www.immigrationwatchdog.com/?cat=41 I wonder why we hear nothing about this? I would like to tell you a bit more about God

Religion is not based on logic but, merely emotion and fear. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young -
This sort of attitude show why we should have never shed British blood for American policies. Its not valued, your post is an insult to all those who have shed blood in Iraq for your country. Shame on you. I'm thinking that he is refering to our politicians. They have yet to listen to the rest of the planet as if the world beyond the U.S. is nothing more than an annoyance. Hell, they don't listen to those who elect them, why would they care about the people they are so ready to shrug off. http://www.house.gov/paul/tst/tst2006/tst103006.htm Now, after reading this, I'm sure it is not a myth. WTF! There is another page I read but having trouble finding it again that shows that this was started by Bush #1. I do know that NAFTA was originally dreamed up by the Republicans but that Clinton is often blamed for it by signing the bill. Seems to me there is plenty of blame to go around. If this highway is built, many U.S. jobs will be long gone. WTF. Are our politicians flushing us down a China made toilet? No surprise. This administration has such a vile contempt towards America and the good that it use to stand for. They happily give money to their buddies while the common people die in a war that was designed for rape of our money. Every last one of them deserve life in prison. Bush deserves the noose. For a few years, I have been seeing bits and pieces about some kind of "Superhighway" that will run from Mexico to Canada that will also have a rail line alongside it. Most of what I have read is on WorldNetDaily. Sort of the nets answer to the Enquirer. I've never taken WorldNet serious. The Onion is more truthful than WorldNet and they admit to being fake stories. However, I saw this on a trucking website http://truckingblog.net/category/nafta-super-highway/ but, there is this that claims it to be an urban legend (I always figured it was) http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/nationworld/2003713518_rumor19.html. Yet, I somewhat wonder when I think of the Trans-Texas Corridor. Does anyone have any thought on this. I personally think it is just a myth. But, I could be wrong. Ron Paul on the Comprehensive Health Care Act

Ron Paul IS the right man for the job! Damn shame he has no chance of being elected. Seems to be the real tragedy of American politics, the right people never get elected. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young -

Job security for the DEA. Quote from the movie Flashpoint; Kurtwood Smith as an FBI agent talking to Border Guard Kris Kristofferson: "Every morning I wake up and thank God for drugs and subversion and murder...becuase without them we'd all be out of a job." Sen, Larry Craig, Republican, arrested in airport restroom
freethefly replied to freethefly's topic in Speakers Corner
Sounds like he was hoping that it would just disappear and no one would be the wiser... Statement of Senator Craig: BOISE, ID - Idaho Senator Larry Craig made the following statement in response to the Roll Call story this afternoon: "At the time of this incident, I complained to the police that they were misconstruing my actions. I was not involved in any inappropriate conduct. "I should have had the advice of counsel in resolving this matter. In hindsight, I should not have pled guilty. I was trying to handle this matter myself quickly and expeditiously." "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young -
Considering what this administration has done to the people of this country, it's constitution and bill of rights... Bush and Thugs get what they get. If there is any justice in this country Bush and his gang of warmongers will spend the rest of their lives in prison. Hopefully Gonzales will be brought up on perjury charges and get what he deserves. Bush cries like a little girl...Whaaaaaaaaaaaaa. LOL. What a douchebag. WACO, Texas (Reuters) - President George W. Bush on Monday lashed out at critics of Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, who resigned from the top law enforcement post, for unfair treatment and dragging his name "through the mud." Bush, before leaving Texas to attend Republican fund-raisers, called Gonzales a man of integrity, decency and principle, and said he had reluctantly accepted the resignation, which came "after months of unfair treatment that has created a harmful distraction at the Justice Department." "It's sad that we live in a time when a talented and honorable person like Alberto Gonzales is impeded from doing important work because his good name was dragged through the mud for political reasons," he added. Can you believe this asswipe of a president "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young

Sen, Larry Craig, Republican, arrested in airport restroom
freethefly replied to freethefly's topic in Speakers Corner
Oh, so squeaky and clean...another one exposed for who and what he is... a pervert. Sen. Larry Craig of Idaho was arrested by a plainclothes police officer investigating complaints of lewd conduct in a men's restroom at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, according to a report just issued by Roll Call. The report said the incident happened just after noon on June 11. A spokesman for Craig, a Republican, called the incident a "he said/he said misunderstanding" and promised a fuller statement later today. But according to Roll Call, Craig, who is married, pleaded guilty on Aug. 8 to a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge in Hennepin County District Court and paid more than $500 in fees and fines. A 10-day jail sentence was stayed and a one-year probation imposed. According to the police report obtained by Roll Call, Sgt. Dave Karsnia of the airport police was investigating a men's room where frequent arrests have been made for sexual activity. Soon after the plainclothes officer took a seat in a stall, he noticed "an older white male with gray hair standing outside my stall." He peered through a crack in the door for two minutes before entering the adjacent stall. The officer reported that Craig tapped his right foot, "a common signal used by persons wishing to engage in lewd conduct." Craig allegedly moved his right foot so that it touched the officer's left foot. When the officer flashed his badge beneath the stall wall, Craig reportedly exclaimed, "No!" The officer informed him he was under arrest and took him for 45 minutes of interrogation and photographing. At one point during that session, Craig allegedly passed over a business card identifying him as a U.S. senator and said, "What do you think about that?" During a tape-recorded interview the officer reported Craig "either disagreed with me or 'didn't recall' the events as they happened." At one point Craig reported he reached down to pick up a piece of paper, but the officer said there was none on the floor. In October 2006, Craig's office publicly denied allegations that he was a homosexual made by a gay activist website, calling it "completely ridiculous" with "no basis in fact." Do you not realize that the South Vietnam government was a puppet government of the U.S. and that it was not wanted by the people of Vietnam? The fall of Saigon was the result of a government that did not have the will or the support of the people. The U.S. involvement only created problems that would not had arose had the U.S. stayed out of Vietnam. The same in Iraq. The problems the Iraqi people face today are the direct result of the U.S. invasion. Had the U.S. not invaded, nearly 4000 Americans would still be alive. Thousands of more would still have their arms and legs. Thousands more would not be suffering from mental illness. There would not be an increase in suicides, divorces, spousal abuse, child abuse, alcholism, drug addiction, homeless and crime associated with military personnel. The same could be said for the Iraqi people who must live with their country being used by the U.S. for war games. Maybe Bush's big plan was to draw Al Quida into Iraq and to use Iraq as his own personal Killing Field. Whether the U.S. stays or leaves the killing will continue since the ball has already been set in motion. How long until the Kurds attack Turkey? Or, Turkey attacks the Kurds. The U.S. has made it perfectly clear that attacking a country whom who don't like is the right thing to do. If it is quite alright for the U.S. to attack whomever it pleases then we have no say over anyother country whom wishes to attack whoever. How to control healthcare costs in the United States
freethefly replied to lawrocket's topic in Speakers Corner
More or less "tongue in cheek" but, I do see that lawyers are also responsible for the rise in healthcare as well as malpractice insurance. Since 7am this morning there has been at least 10 lawyer commercials claiming to get their clients the largest settlement for everything from malpractice to a fender bender. I realize that lawyers are needed for a number of legitimate cases yet, there are a high number of ambulance chasers who are partialy responsible for the rise in malpractice insurance. Doctor cuts off the wrong leg? Fine, he should be held responsible. Doctor misdiagnose and the patient suffers even further. The doctor should be held responsible. An infection sets in, a patient does not respond to treatment or anything that a doctor cannot possibly have control over there is often a lawyer pushing for a lawsuit. That is bullshit. Lawrocket says some things that are literaly screwed up. Such as... I have HIV, should I be killed off because some fucknut lawyer thinks I am a "drag on society". Hell, I can say the samething about someone who slipped on ice and broke their neck. Hell, they knew the risk of walking on ice. Fuck them. I can say the same about someone who develops colon cancer. Fuck them. They knew there was the possiblity that after a certian age that they could develop this form of cancer. Probably ate too much red meat. Their own fucking fault. Paralyzed in a car accident driving to work? Car accident wasn't your fault? You know damn well, that everytime you drive a car that an accident can occur. Fuck you, it's your own damn fault. You could had walked thus avoiding the possibilty of being in a car accident. I don't need some mouthpeice telling me that my HIV is my own fault. I fully realize it. Yet, at the time that a contracted the virus there was little said about it. I've never even heard of HIV until Feb. 1995. I have heard of AIDS but thought that only gay people caught it. Kind of stupid, uh? Should that preclude me from any healthcare? They way I read lawrockets little diatribe is that anyone who is ill due to something they did should be cast to the garbage heap, promptly. So much for care and compassion. Do you goose step in public? or only in the privacy of you own personal Third Reich. Hell, if I were to start killing off the drags of society, I'd start with idiot lawyers. You know, those greedy little pigs whom have there shit stained snouts in every nook and cranny. You want to blame every one but your own kind. Your kind are the drag that should be cut. Just in the last hour at least 5 greedy lawyer commercials have assualted my senses with dribble on how they can get me the most money possible for whatever it is that ails me. Shit!!! What ails me is greedy, grease ball lawyers that spout off about how they know shit all about everything when, in fact, what comes out of their mouth is nothing but gibberish. You really want to help fix the heatlthcare system? Pull all of the slimeball lawyers out of the dr.'s office and let dr.'s do their job.
