Found $1750.00 in a velcro wallet in Mobile, Al.. I just tied up my railcar and was walking to the ATM. Passed a green nylon wallet with a pot leaf printed on it that was laying in the gutter. I walked about 100' before going back. I openned it and saw the first bill. It was a 100 dollar bill. I stuck it in my pocket and headed back to the railcar. When I pulled the bills out and counted them, there was 17 onehundred dollar bills and one fifty and no I.D. of whose wallet it was. Only money.

I got to go back to the doctor last week. Ten vials of blood to check everything. A bit expensive but, vital. I'm paying for it. So is everyone else who pay taxes. One way or another it gets paid. Personaly, I'm glad that the dems push for healthcare. Thanks to the dems, I got to go to the doctor and will again in 5 weeks. Thanks to the republicans, I went 2 years without. If I go back on meds, everyone who pays taxes will pay for it. I pay taxes therefore, I too will be chipping in. From reading over the last few months on the health threads at this board, I know there are a few who will explode at the thought that I am using their tax dollars for my healthcare. Well, I don't give a damn. They're my dollars too. I am just happy to be back in care of a doctor

You are right. They do not have to help anyone being assualted. The 'to serve and protect" often seen on police cars only pertains to the state and not the people. It seems that a good number of people have forgotten this obscured point, The same people will never question the tremendous waste of OUR tax dollars waging war and stuffing the pockets of war profiteers but... suggest that OUR money be used to help those who have fallen right here in the US and suddenly you're an unamerican commie-pinko. I'd much rather my tax dollars stay here and help Americans who need a hand up instead of giving it to countries who have the hand extended for more of OUR money.
