Hard to say which was the best. Saw near every band that was touring during the 70's. One of the stand outs was Nektar (Remember the Future tour), Jethro Tull would be another. Worst would have to be Charlie Daniels last time I saw him in the 90's. You just can't change the words to Long Hair Country Boy and expect folks not to boo "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young

All of the years I lived on a rail car we almost always tied up in the poorest parts of towns we rolled into. For some odd reasons rail yards tend to be in blighted areas. However, we never had any trouble with anyone. Often, we were the only pale faces in the local bars. Never asked to leave. On the other hand, we tended to get eighty-sixed from the upper scale establishments (probably for good reasons ) You should check out some of the black blues clubs in East St. Louis. My old 91 FLSTF clicked past 250,000 before I sold her. And that was with going 2 years without a speedo cable. I would put actual mileage above 300,000. My 05 FLSTFI is coming up on 40,000. It had less than 12,000 when I bought her in 2010. I ride all 12 months of the year, regardless of the weather. I have no idea what the actual miles on my Norton is. I would put it above 500,000. The engine has been rebuilt several times since 1983. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young

That is not what you said: "he would have got treated straight away - and it wouldn't have cost him a penny..." Seems to me what DD is saying is that SG would had been treated without a doctor saying pay me now. Being that their tax dollars is their insurance payments, they are good to go. God, how many times do I have to post a link to Hell? It is a REAL place! Be sure to get a t-shirt while there. Be sure to tell everyone what a great time you had in Hell. http://www.hell2u.com/ "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young

The Evangelical view: I listen to feminists and all these radical gals - most of them are failures. They've blown it. Some of them have been married, but they married some Casper Milquetoast who asked permission to go to the bathroom. These women just need a man in the house. That's all they need. Most of the feminists need a man to tell them what time of day it is and to lead them home. And they blew it and they're mad at all men. Feminists hate men. They're sexist. They hate men - that's their problem. ~Jerry Falwell [Feminism is] a socialist, anti-family, political movement that encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism and become lesbians. ~Pat Robertson "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." According to BPI, their product is in most of the ground beef we eat. Just the fact that the trimmings are swept up off of the slaughter house floor is disgusting enough. From BPI's website BPI's products are found in the majority of all ground beef produced in the United States. Current production of over 7 million pounds per week, makes BPI the world's largest manufacturer of boneless lean beef in the world. Eating a hamburger from a Quick Service Restaurant or buying ground beef from your local retailer, the chances are you'll be eating product produced by BPI. Might as well be. I've never heard of the stuff until Jamie Oliver showed it on his show. I had to do a little research to know more about this stuff. Seems much of it is the worst parts of the animal. Much of it infected with E. Coli. Not to worry, the slime is washed with ammonia. Mmmmm, ammonia. Anyone watch Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution tonight? The topic was school food. Ever heard of "Pink Slime"? It is what is in the meat at your child's school. It is also in the meat at fast food restaurants, grocery stores, and pet food. What is it? Read up. Freaking disgusting. http://planetgreen.discovery.com/food-health/pinkslime-ammonia-ground-beef.html "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Couldn't grasp my point? Being legal would makes us neither better nor worst. We would only be the same, but with another horrendous law to live by, until change is brought by the people. Like I've said, fortunately we have a law against stoning people to death. My preference is chocolate chip. You replied to my posting, therefore you initiated this dealing on your own. If you don't like it, stop posting. It is just that easy. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young

You didn't tell them that you are a lawyer, did ya? To be honest, going by your avatar picture, you do have a striking resemblance to a shark. Try not to smile so big. The teeth are frightening. Crimes against women and children is quite common in the Amish and Mennonite communities. More than often, violence, including sexual abuse and rape go unreported. Women are subservient in fundamentalist societies. The men make the rules and enforce those rules. They also control what the outside world sees. What we don't know is what hasn't been reported. Even in open communities abuses go unreported or are overlooked. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young

Stoning has and does occur, right here in the U.S.. Thankfully, most of us don't take the laws of God that seriously and we have our own law against stoning. Besides, if a man or woman is being stoned to death for adultery, it is only Gods will that it be done. Now, I do not support nor condone stoning, I am merely pointing out that bibles of most popular religions support and condone stoning as it is Gods law that it be done. How dare anyone to go against Gods will. Can't say that was the old book and all is well in the new book as Jesus says: "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law (the Old Testament) or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke or a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law (the Old Testament) until everything is accomplished. (Matthew 5:17-18)" So, by all means, if you do not want to piss off the Big Guy in the Sky, throw a stone. You just might win a prize. I am, also an atheist and I think that the bible is bullshit. You should take a course in proper grammar and punctuation. That sentence is horrendous! "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young

There was a time when beating and raping ones wife was overlooked in this country. In some areas, it is still overlooked. Fact is, they knew the law and chose to ignore it. That does not make beating a person right. However, until the people in these countries decide to do something about the law they live under, the beatings will continue. These pretzels are making me thirsty. No, I haven't. i think I'll jump on my bad ass American made Harley-Davidson and go get me an American made Mountain Dew. These pretzels are really making me thirsty. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young

I can read. Just saying that they are no different than many of the devout Christians whom beat their women and children in the name of God. Besides, she knew what the law was before she messed around (regardless if she was getting a divorce or not.) The same with the guy she messed with. Their country, their law. Why not complain about the abuse that happens here in America? Police beatings are common. Why not be concerned with those who have been wrongly convicted? ( http://www.innocenceproject.org/ America is a lock-em up and throw away the key society. We have the largest prison population in the world. I'd take a cane beating over years in prison any day. Her and her boyfriend got off easy. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young

No, China buying America for pennies on the dollar is a victory for communism. It seems that the communist have beaten us at our own game. Oh, and Dylan Rocks. So, you're saying that Christians don't beat and abuse women? Maybe you have forgotten about the mass sexual abuse that the Catholic church has been trying to cover up for decades? Hell, Christians are no better than any other group. All religions suck. Any Romantic Notions About S. American Revolutionaries? Forget 'em

That and every other commodity that has been used to fuel a war. No matter what it is, somewhere along the line, someone is going to suffer. If you mean marijuana, no. At the very least it would drastically reduce the amount being smuggled in, thus reducing their cash flow. There is a black market for Pampers and Snuggies, why wouldn't one for marijuana not remain after legalization? The same as for the alcohol black market, the marijuana black market would be small and a minor nuisance to law enforcement. If you mean cocaine, the answer would be similar, but a greater problem, but to a lesser extent as opposed to now. Oh, and cocaine is a schedule 2 narcotic. Same as meth. While marijuana is a schedule 1 http://www.justice.gov/dea/pubs/scheduling.html "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young -

Kids are more tech-savvy today than when I was a kid in the 60s and 70s. When I went back to school a couple years ago, a calculator was required for the math classes. Back in high school in the 70s, using a calculator in class was an automatic F. Now it is required. Is that a good thing? You do not really have to think. But, think about it, do we want people working on complicated formulas with a pad and pencil when technology can do it for us and at light speed? Technology makes us smarter, while lowering us down the ladder at the same time. We're to deep and far too dependent on technology to turn back now. The last generation and all proceeding generations to come would be lost if they were to be transported back in time before the ability to be connected 24/7. Is there really a need to commit to memory what is accessible at the stroke of a key? Is there any real need to actually learn math when simply knowing how to input data is all one really needs to learn? Welcoming my son, welcome to the machine... S. American rebels and drugs is nothing new. You can look as far back to the Nicaraguan Contra Rebels and the CIA smuggling cocaine into the U.S. in order to fund that uprising. They go where the money is to support their little wars, no matter how wrong it is. Wars are funded by the misery of others.
