  1. Go figure. Yes, she is in it only for the money and nothing else. Her chances for the White House are quickly diminishing with every dollar she scrapes from the pockets of the morons who love her skank ass. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ac/20110209/us_ac/7816982_sarah_palin_may_be_too_rich_for_conservatives_in_washington;_ylt=AlEuyrBPJY.yZNqtx05nDuJH2ocA;_ylu=X3oDMTRudWh0cjM1BGFzc2V0A2FjLzIwMTEwMjA5Lzc4MTY5ODJfc2FyYWhfcGFsaW5fbWF5X2JlX3Rvb19yaWNoX2Zvcl9jb25zZXJ2YXRpdmVzX2luX3dhc2hpbmd0b24EY2NvZGUDbXBfZWNfOF8xMARjcG9zAzkEcG9zAzkEc2VjA3luX3RvcF9zdG9yaWVzBHNsawNzYXJhaHBhbGlubWE- "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." 2. I take it that you have the mildest form SB? (Given that you skydive and move around on pipe) A friend, his daughter has the Myelo form of SB. She'll be in a wheelchair for life. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young
  3. Hull Maintenance Technician Second Class Petty Officer. Honorable Discharge. 80-84 By the way, I grew up in the military and knew what to expect. What i didn't expect was a President who sold weapons to an enemy in order to fund a war in South America. I'm satisfied that I joined and served honorably. Now, go screw your lame excuse for why you never served your country. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young
  4. Ditto, my feelings, exactly. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young
  5. Never said you claim to be. It is clear that you know zilch about the military. I do not buy your claim that you were turned away from serving. I went in with a birth defect and a very screwed up leg. My cousin joined and served with a collapsed chest. My niece was going to join and was cleared to do so. She has scoliosis (curved spine). She backed out at the last second (I'm happy she did.) I seriously doubt that you ever saw a recruiter. Yet, you claim that relations are FUBAR! You say it is impossible to prove an action that will happen! Your statement makes absolutely no sense. Relations will always walk a thin line. Especially when certain countries tend to stab their allies in the back. The U.S. has stabbed several M.E. allies. Iraq being one of them. The U.S. was all buddy-buddy with Saddam, when it served a purpose. The same with the Taliban. I much prefer that countries be upfront, instead of shaking hands while planning behind closed doors to overthrow each other. Oh, I know why. In the long run, it really does not matter what some dirt farmer thinks. It matters more what those in charge think. It's bad diplomacy to win over minds and hearts only to screw them when they no longer serve a purpose (think about Iraq, they're screwed.) No different than the rhetoric that comes from all sides. At least I served my country and at the time I believed what was said. The "truth" was nothing more than a lie. Go get a clue. I prefer that the government be honest and to practice what it preaches. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young
  6. It's just that those who claim to be the ultimate patriot are those who never served. Serving doesn't make one anymore of a patriot, neither. There is a crap load of shit serving in the military and Wiki-leaks only served to expose that. For every soldier that committed murder in Iraq or Afghanistan, there should be a noose with their name on it. Prove it. If any country was so offended, they should withdraw their money grabbing hands from the money the U.S. borrows from China. Money that these stone-age countries will never pay back. Besides, do you really care what someone in a dung and mud hut thinks of the U.S.? It would be a start on building relations based on honesty rather than lies that always rise eventually. I lost faith in the Feds when Iran-Contra was exposed. How nice of Mr. Reagan to arm the enemy in order to start another war. How nice it was to be sitting off of Iran and to learn later that our gov. was only escalating the tension by supporting Saddam by exposing Iranian troop movement. Oh, how nice it was of the Feds to give shelter to a thieving, murdering dictator that started the Iranian Crisis. The U.S. should had handed the Shah over to the Iranians to begin with. By giving the Shah protection puts the U.S. on the same level as the Taliban giving protection to Bin Laden. By the way, did you know that the Taliban was once an ally very much as Saddam was? I stand with neither. I do see the Feds as the ultimate hypocrites. The Feds have no problem exposing the wrong doings of others, but expose them? The Feds need a good daily kick in the nuts. Fuck over every last one of them. There will come a day when the Feds will have to pay for the misery they create. 7. The test might be free, but the treatment is going to cost you everything if you do not have insurance. I had to file bankruptcy on thousands of dollars after spending every dime I had. As of today, I have no meds and no doctor. I was told by a doctor at the V.A., last December that she will no longer be treating me and that I should find a doctor outside the V.A.. So much for the promise of healthcare for veterans... Honestly, I am considering a lawsuit... if they do not treat me. I want what was promised when I joined the Navy. 8. Success in Afghanistan is not judged by the number of taliban killed. Success in Afghanistan is impossible. It is one impossibly long pipe dream to even think that the U.S. can civilize a country that revoked civility centuries ago. Hell, just look at the total mess that Iraq is. The U.S. turned that country into a terrorist training center! Can't have a "war on terror" without terrorist. Iraq was far better off with Saddam than it is with the current crop of money grabbing crooks in charge. Karzai is just more of the same. He'll line his pockets with every dime he can get. He is in bed with Iran and the U.S. seems to be just fine with that. Afghanistan is successfully wasting money that would be better spent in the U.S. Fuck Afghanistan and all the rest of those money grabbing dirt bag countries. I much prefer success in our own country and let those stuck in the stone-age to continue beheading each other. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young
  9. I would imagine that the gov. officials who wrote the leaked papers, possibly lied just a wee bit in their reports. Whewwww, thank God, Mickey Mouse and all that is American for upstanding, patriotic Americans like yourself. What branch of the military did you serve in? Myself, USN, 80-84. I'm not so much of a supporter of Assange, however the leaks give insight to the many lies that spewed from the mouth of the Federal gov.. Lies that led to war and lies that keep us at war. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young
  10. I am unaware of any "doctored reports and the lies." Cite, please. I assume you consider Michael Moore credible? Well, considering that your link is to Malkin and to a piece by Power, two right wing fear mongers... Powers really twisted the story... Wiki merely released what was written by a State Dept. official. http://www.michaelmoore.com/words/mike-friends-blog/viva-wikileaks "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." 12. Just more "law and order" right wing school officials flexing their puny, conservative brains. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young

  14. I'm in full agreement with you. The legislature has had plenty of opportunity to do so, but has all but ignore the issue since before the Shafer Commission. To overturn any legislation would make them appear to be "soft on crime", or so. That is a cope out. The ultimate bottom line is the control of marijuana has spawned a cottage industry that that rakes in huge profits. Legislation creates huge profits on both sides of the fence. Drug lords are just against legalization as is the legal industry that prohibition has spawned. It's a good deal for organized crime as it is for legalized crime. Marijuana rehab? What a scam. http://www.shadyhousepub.com/mpiu/health-care-costs-of-marijuana/ +1. Many within the government has smoked at one time or another and may even smoke today. Sadly they continue the the status quo. As with the "designer" faux herb that prohibition has brought about. Once again the DEA is ramping up effort for control. They have banned one form and shortly after a new form appears. It amounts to a never ending game of checkers. There is plenty of money for all sides to make. Far to many are profiting and for to many are losing (closing in on 1 million per year arrested.) The only real solution is legalization and taxation. 15. Well, so much for his reputation. RIP "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young
  16. As long as you're not smoking that evil, deadly weed, alcohol poisoning is perfectly legal. You should have nothing to worry about. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young
  17. Yet, our stupid, idiotic government still insist that marijuana is an extremely dangerous drug! http://www.justice.gov/dea/pubs/pressrel/pr060602.html They probably came to this conclusion during a 3 martini lunch. Truth is that the U.S. government will never admit to being wrong. Also, giving up control over an otherwise harmless substance means giving up billions in taxpayer money. Keeping a lock on the control ensures employment for for the DEA Gestapo. Keeping it illegal ensures that drug trafficking, gang activity and murder will continue and allows them to justify their position. They will allow murder to hold on to the control. I'm not sure of the exact quote, but in the movie Flashpoint, Kurtwood Smith, playing a DEA agent, tells Kris Kristofferson, playing the part of a border agent, the reason that he let a drug runner go is "Everyday that I wake up, I thank God for drugs, murder and subversion, cause without it, we're out of a job." I honestly believe that the U.S. government allows a certain amount of drugs to enter the country in order to justify their position. Without those drugs, a lot of them are out of a job. 18. Well all she needs now is to do it with a wingsuit and she'll get Redbull sponsorship i think she should get that already.. Maybe she had a Redbull and thought that it really did give her wings. She should sue Redbull for false advertisement. that would only happen in the US; and she'd probably win, too! Unfortunately, you're right. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young

  21. More James Gang w/Tommy Bolin on lead guitar and Roy Kenner vocals. I think Bang was the best album James Gang did. Got No Time for Trouble http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OsRox1iTsow "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young
  22. The first concert I went to was this band, Mott the Hoople, in early 73. All the Young Dudes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=amnjZtNDKqk "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young
  23. Saw this guy several times in the '70's as a solo act in 1975 and 76 and when he was front man for the James Gang in 73. Tommy Bolin. Damn, he was amongst the greatest and still is today. Died of a drug overdose in 76 at the age of 25. If you're my age, you'll remember this one! 24. A great KSHE Klassic (KSHE http://www.kshe95.com is a St. Louis radio station and the oldest rock station in the world. Many bands and musicians have given KSHE credit for helping to launch their careers.) KSHE is the only radio station I have heard play this song by Stu Nunnery, Isle of Debris. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hNEyzXpEGes Mason Profit's Two Hangmen, another K-SHE Klassic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bt2eF1IJtSE&feature=related Another KSHE Klassic by Shoot Head Underwater, Sepia Sister. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIsKl36R_Lc&feature=relatedhttp://www.kshe95.com/ A St Louis favorite. Local band from the '70's Mamas Pride. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6I0FOMuA0aU&feature=related And, of course another local band from the '70's, Pavlov's Dog. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R6uexPmL0fk "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." 25. This came out the year I graduated high school. My favorite song by Kansas. Reason to Be, from the Monolith album. Haven't heard it in years. Stills stirs me up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79IET_hdy6U So long, someone is waiting I got places to go, I got things to see No more procrastinating For this is the moment that was meant for me And I'm moving like a wave on the ocean Drifting to the opposite side Traveling with no destination Just riding the tide People they say that I'm foolish They say that I'm living in a fantasy Well I say, everything's easy It's better than living in futility So, I'm standing here in back of the curtain Waiting for the start of the show Acting like an actor is easy If you can let go Someday something will find you A magical feeling you could not foresee A feeling so devastating From that moment on your life's a comedy And suddenly you're light as a feather You're falling like a leaf from a tree The things you thought you needed are fading Your reason to be "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black."
