  1. Hit BIG OIL with more tax on their deep pockets. The oil industry reaps huge profits and returns very little to the very people it serves, except higher gas prices. Maybe we all should ride horses. Hell, they'll just shove a gps up it's ass. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young
  2. You're right. After reading an article at Military.com on proposed cuts to veterans I appearantly boiled over. In no way do I wish to see the Iraqi people (many who are brave) finish the job alone, seeing that the US took the first step, the US no doubt will stay the rest of the way. What will ultimately come from all this is anybody's guess. I do believe that once Iraqi oil starts to flow the US taxpayers should be paid back every penny spent. Freedom is not free. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young
  3. Screw Iraq and its so called "brave people"(they were too chickenshit to stand up themselves). Let them pay for their own rebuild and make them pay for what they got. Whatever the hell it is. My tax dollars would be better spent here where I fully expected them to be spent when I payed them. As someone with a deadly illness and no insurance I am in need of the very programs that Bush wants to cut. If he wants to make cuts he should cut funding to the rest of the world, a world that detest us yet stand with hands out for American cash. I much rather see my taxes go to help myself and other Americans in need and to hell with everyone else. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young
  4. AAAAHHHH YES, brings back fond memories of my old Uzi, although not full auto with a fast finger she was just as fun "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young

some american indian tribes used it as a sun symbol, although I believe it was reversed "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young
  6. ***Because they represent a huge marketplace for us to do business with, selling, and buying. Otherwise, I'd be happy to let them rot for the various reasons you list and more. As long as someone has money, any and all violations should be overlooked? Is that what you are saying. If Bin Laden was to suddenly spend millions on American goods should he be forgiven. Only a true capitalists overlooks human suffering for the almighty dollar. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young
  7. From so called "artist" who promote killing police (my nephew is a law officer), degrading women, and escalating violence on the street I doubt if any intelligent human will take them serious. Besides, Gatorade gives me wings "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young
  8. Ha Ha Like the UN sanctions did anything to stop Saddam from profiting. Hell the UN was lining its own pockets from the Oil for Food deal. The UN is by no means a neutral entity. Why would the have ever approved any military action in Iraq when the were making so much money off the suffering of the average Iraqi. Saddam didn't suffer and was thumbing his nose at the US. He got what he deserved and so did the people that supported his regime. So who are lining their pockets now and as far as "suffering of the average Iraqi" goes, hell they have never had it so bad. Iraq is a blood bath and will remain so for years to come. So some were getting rich from the oil for food program, far less was dying. Over time Saddam would had eventually die and his empire most likely would had collapsed due to infighting amongst sons. The attack on the least of the world's problems was, IMHO, unwarrented. Now the POTUS is asking for another 60-80 billion dollars for the war in Iraq and Afgahnastan. 120,000 troops to remain untill the end of 2006 and most likely beyond. There is good chance that Bush will have this country at war on other soils before he is through. Bush and his band of minions are on the warpath and the future is bleak on that front. To make matters worst it is suppose to snow this weekend, DAMN, I need some air! "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young
  9. I lived in Mexico (I could live there forever!!) for 7 months back in 1994 and had been there numerous of times before. I grew up with the childern of Mexican farm workers in the San Juan King Valley. They were always the nicest of folks. I have never seen spanish people any differant as anyone else. I have seen spanish folks that I rather they live else where. I have also had white, black and asian neighbors that I rather they move on. I have also had neighbors of all races to be the nicest folks. For the most part though it has been white folks that fucking piss me off. Of all the folks on this planet it has been the white race that has done me the most harm. The BASTARDS. Hell, with me being white myself you would think all would be candy and cake. Shit, I ain't got time to hate other races when it is a battle alone just to keep the white dogs at leash end. It wasn't anyone but a white CEO that sent my job to Mexico. No offense to Mexico but I needed that job more than any person in Mexico City. I am sure someone in M.C. feels the same way. Funk, if you want to be pissed at the situation, find the root first and start there. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young
  10. ***But is this really such a shock? Lets look for a moment at Apple Computers. Founded by long haired hippies, this company has consistently supported 60's counter-cultural "values"2. Just as I have always suspected, it was them damn HIPPIES!!! Betcha they even smoked dope and had unmarried sex !!!!!! all the while conjouring up SATAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young
  11. Who is to blame? The inability to coexist is the blame. It goes all the way back to the first human to human conflict. One grunted the wrong way at another. The offended slaps the first. The first then hits the second with a stick. The seconds sees need for a weapons defense system and starts collecting rocks. The first notices the build up and starts collecting himself.... the start of the arms race. Hell, look trhrough the written history of our kind and it is more than 90%(conservative) war and very little if no peace. The blame of all wars lies soley on the entire human race for not being able to be civilize. The definition of civilize is-to bring out of savagery. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young
  12. This case has to get in line for sensationalism after Robert Blake. I suspect that will be the next big trial. I wonder if they will call Fred Bird as a character witness? "Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.....Do wop diddy do.... "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young
  13. Well, that fat bastards ass will blip off their screen if he comes ho-ho-ho-ing down my chimminy, And, if he doesn't stop here, well, he has to come through this hemisphere and I am pretty sure that I can hit a freaking reindeer in flight. Hell, how many of those damn things does fat boy have strapped to his pimpsled anyways. No problem. I'll just unload the clip on them. I have been gunning for jollyboy since 1968. I was explicit in my letter when I said to that no good union busting prick that I wanted the "Super Scientist" science kit. The one with a bunsen burner and highly explosive chemicals. Not the "Little Scientist" kit. Can't blowup much with a microscope and some crappy slides of dead bugs that I didn't even kill myself. The bastard also shorted me on "Hot Wheels". Instead that card carrying commie cocksucker brought me some off the wall dogdung from China. Freaking wheels fell off after throwing them at the pavement only three times. Imagine that! You can blame Walmart for the decline in manufacturing jobs here in the US, me, I blame the original sweatshop king. Slumlord to the north. Well folks, St. Prick's days are numbered and I have been polishing the brass casings. I have called in a favor from some heavy hitters who are in tune to the deed that has to be done and they have sent me the tools needed for me to clean the slate. A highpower sniper rifle with a nightscope (I like to keep it sporting) and also some RPG's, a couple of TOWS and some close action machinery, a ak-47, one mac 10 and just for the fun of it an Uzi. At this point I would not be giving any apoligies for my actions. I do realize that millions of sniveling snot nose rugrats will not get any toys come the 25th. But, they will thank me some day when they are standing on the assembly line installing their part day in and day out. When their spawns look up at them someday and ask "why" daddy did he kill Santa. They will be able to say "so your daddy can have a job on the line, Shut up you little fuck and be happy that you even have a roof over your head". I feel good about what has to be done and feel no remorse. Hell, I have been sending sleighboy letters since 1969 telling him that I was not happy with my cut of the loot in 1968 and that the day was coming. It is not like he is not expecting it. Short me on the goodies, the prick! Now that I have fallen off of his radar, I have the element of surprise. I will get the drop on him and be eating reindeer for years to come. To all the people north of the Ozarks, Merry Christmas. To all those south, well, you'll thank me. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young
  14. Hey Billvon, why not go one more step back in time and include Korea into your analysis. Korea seems to be one of the all time greatest failures in "military action" with no visable results. As no conclusion has yet to be drawn from that conflict and that it is still a showdown I believe it would be fair to include it along with Vietnam and Iraq. Also do you have figures on Afghanistan? "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young
  15. This only hurts the innocent who did no wrong. St. Louis has been in the habit of doing this for years. To no avail. As others said "it only moves the problem". There is no real answer to an age old problem. Anywhere you have a dense population you will, without fail, have a percentage of that population determined to act outside the law. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young
  16. Not surprising as they ofton blatantly pat themselves on the back prematurely. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young
  17. They have not yet gone far enough to protect childern. What about them thar sharp pointy things they call pencils? Looks to me you can poke an eye out with one o'does things "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young
  18. I read through your link. An interesting point of view. As I have come to understand Einstein, I have viewed him more as a spiritualistic person than anything. Like Spinoza, Einstein rejected a personal god and embraced the working of nature, which is perfect as no one can dispute it is not. Spinoza's god was manifested in nature and we are the offspring of nature. As he believed god was everything and if everything is that of nature then nature in itself must be god and that "we are but a ripple on the surface of god". Spinoza was an odd character but had some radical ideas for his time, back in the 1600's I believe. That he was an outcast from his parent religion, he rejected judism and other forms of organized faith based religion. Yet, a good deal of his ideaology can be traced back to the roots of islam and other religions. Einstein firmly believed in something yet I do not believe it was a god that had a heaven or sent a soul to hell. Einstein, as I read him, believed that the nature of man is dependent on the nature of the universe and that the nature of the universe will always remain a mystery as no man could fully comprehend it's nature as no man could fully comprehend the mind of a god therefore god and nature must be one and the same. I see this as embracing spirituality more than embracing a deity. I believe what I said to be true for myself and I am just happy to be alive another day to be able to enjoy the nature of everything. If by chance something does exist beyond known life then I am on for the ride as I am on for this one. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young
  19. I am on board for that. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young
  20. QuoteHow can a person not believe in God and still have faith that their parachute will open 7000 times? Just because the messenger got the message a little wrong doesn't mean the story that he is trying to tell is bullshit. Is it your "faith" in a god that opens your parachute or is it your ability to pack a parachute to open? Which do you depend on? I saw a story the other day of a woman whom was sucked into a drainpipe and washed out the other end, 125'. She stated that it was god who saved her by pushing her out the other end. Now, I am thinking, if god wanted to really help her would he not have kept her from being sucked in in the first place? The same goes for those in car accidents, or any accident for that matter, would you not have god prevent the accident in the first place? Why then after an event in which some one or persons are injured or killed there is ofton those who proclaim that they felt gods hands protect them? Is this not egotistic to believe that a god would see that you are protected while others are not? So, back to god opening your parachute. Why would he open yours and let another fail. I believe that it is ego that lends to a person believing that a god sees fit to let them live and others die. I end with a qoute; " I cannot conceive of a god who rewards and punishes his creatures or has a will of the kind that we experience in ourselves. Neither can I nor would I want to conceive of an individual that survives his physical death; let feeble souls, from fear or absurd egotism, cherish such thoughts. I am satisfied with the mystery of the eternity of life and a glimpse of the marvelous structure of the existing world, together with the devoted striving to comprehend a portion, be it ever so tiny, of the Reason that manifests itself in nature." Albert Einstein "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young
  21. Some forms of this now exist. Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) orders and living wills are a limited method of achieving this. The Veterans Admin. hospitals offers living wills if you choose to do so. 22. With over 600 people on d/r in Ca., do you think it really matters that someone is given the d/p? Unless an inmate is anywhere near the top of the list to be executed within the next 10-20 (?) years most likely that person will die in prison. The latter, I would think, would be the worst punishment. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young
  23. The real victim is the soldier who is put into a situation in where "right" or "wrong" is very blurred. An optimist in combat is someone who shoots at you all day an expects you not to kill him when he runs out of ammunition. Or, in this case, wounded. "Ever since man banded together for the laudable intention of killing his fellow man, war has been a dirty business" George S. Patton, Jr. When war is rife and danger nigh God and soldier is the nation's cry When war is done and wrong is righted Gods forgotten, the soldier slighted Author Unknown "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young
  24. At first I thought your question was in reference of friends who were nuts and I got very angery that you would refer to them as "nuts" when the pc term is "sanity challanged". Then I read your post. Out of the can is good for me. "...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Neil Young
  25. DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I had posted that
