Once again.... The DMV sucks. I took the motorcycle course over the past few days and wanted to get my license... NOW! (not that I'm impatient or anything) So, yesterday, I went to the DMV. SPECIFICALLY to ask what I would need. AND I HAD TO PIMP THE KID FOR ANSWERS. Proof of completion of the course, written test from the sherrifs thingie, old license to surrender, .... how much (in cash or check of course)... he had to ask someone else that info. OK... got all the info. But then went back again today. "No passport or birth certificate... No license." Why the FUCK didn't junior mention that yesterday!?!?! So I had to come home... AGAIN got my passport, my social security card, my birth certificate, my marriage license, my DD214, my high school diploma, my college diploma, my mortgage papers (proof of residency), I plucked a couple hairs from the nape of my neck and taped them to a paper, I pricked my finger and did a partial fingerprint with the blood. AINT NO FUCKING WAY they will ask for something that I don't have THIS TIME. So I get up there.... wait.... wait.... wait.... wait.... Finally get my license with the motorcycle endorsement.... then the girl behind the desk tells me how hard the day has been!! So I call for the supervisor... she makes me wait.... wait.... wait.... wait... I very politely advise her of ways to improve the system or advocate methods to help the kids behind the desk by having nonfrustrated customers. I actually gave her some good ideas and tried hard not to blame the incompetent fucktards... but I still know that she was just smiling and nodding and the DMV will always be the DMV. BUT.... At least I got my motorcycle endorsement!!!!!!

Or... (doing the whole free association thing from here) -examine intelligence and skydiving (include school stuff such as highest level completed, GPA but aslo some abbreviated IQ test cuz book learning aint all intelligence). correlate that to knowledge of risks and compare that to actual action. Then - as Programmer recommended - compare those set of variables to a group matched for age, gender and intellegence in other high risk activities (special ops guys, stock traders, sexually promiscuous convicts, professional croquet players) That will give you many variables to play with and examine!!!!!

See - I TOLD you that scope was off!!! Don't blame the equiptment. It wasn't the scope... your scout/observer that called your dope didn't give enough windage. (try two clicks right with that crosswind for that distance....)

Are you actually going to be completing this research project or is this just prelim assignments to prep you for the research and you're considering having multiple topics? Have you already done a lit search? I found these on Pubmed Wil you be getting funding? What kind of human subjects committe does this have to pass? Will you have access to MRI/PET scans or labs (hormone concentrations)? With the counseling background, would you want to do more demographic research and less objective data?

Calvin19 I'm glad you were able to break your addiction and that your life is returning to your normal. You seem to have a lot of motivation. But... you should have some level of personal responsibility in this issue. Displacing the blame to the "Fucking Doctors" who were just trying to care for you and make you comfortable after your accident is a bit off. Yes... meds do have side effects. That's why A.T. Still broke away from the Allopathic (MD) philosophy and started Osteopathic Medicine. But meds do have their uses (pain sucks and forcing a patient to be in pain for any reason besides his/her direct refusal of medicaion is WRONG). Everything comes with risks and consequences. Few thoughts: But you don't get an epidural with anal sex... unless maybe it's sex with an anesthesisologist? Even still, I wouldn't recommend that as an alternative to safe sex.... anal intercourse is more risky than vaginal with respect to sexually transmitted diseases. On a final note....
