If you're not doing anything in NYC tomorrow morning
kbordson replied to ntrprnr's topic in The Bonfire
Cool!! I would definately do that (either cheer you on or try to run too) if I were there! (It's been a goal of mine to someday run a marathon - or even a half marathon) Good Luck!! -
Not too much to tell you about the shotgun. But you didn't really say if it was single barrel/double barrel, what guage, ... but even if you give that info, it sounds like something that a gunsmith or expert would have to see to really give you good information. And no.... as stated above. just because it doesn't have a serial number doesn't mean it was used in a crime. Prior to 1968, serial numbers were not required. The model 721 is the predecessor to the model 700 (current remington bolt gun) They are almost identical. The bolt handle is shaped different, bolt shroud is different - but technically similiar design. Big magnum cartridge. h&h stands for Holland and Holland from England. You can still get that round here... but it's not cheap. hope that helps... Karen

I like that avatar... you're smiling, it's a cute fish (or ghoti) and it's personal. Why change it?

OOOOHHHHHH!!!!! Me! Me! The Kansas City Ren Fest is starting in a week.... I've gone every year for the last 8 years... and when I was in college, I was in the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism). I love going in costume. I prefer the more common attire.... The full dresses and costumes are just too confining. (have I mentioned that I'm a geekette)

I have to agree with the fact that the only crime that he committed was speeding.... not worth $125k in fines. But I am curious as to the other parts of the story that I'm sure is yet out there. Is he a US citizen? Why a refridg. truck? Illegal people trafficing? Has he already killed someone/groups by not having a refridg. truck? I'm sure that there's a WHOLE lot more to this tale. But until he's actually caught doing something illegal, he should get his money back - with his name to the IRS for non reported income suspicions.

Should Great Britain close its borders to immigrants?
kbordson replied to Scoop's topic in Speakers Corner
Not "unshockable"... just sometimes hide it better (in my field you have to hide it sometimes). Besides, I thought the British were supposed to be the epitome of refinement and class.... and I have no idea where you would have found such an image. Your poor eyes..... -

I can't believe I didn't preview before posting!!! Third times the charm.... For those that want to put a extra click or two into it. Go here Scroll to UK, then select "Estimates of the net number of migrants, by five year intervals, 1950 to 2000 (in thousands)" or "op ten sending countries, by country of nationality, 1991 to 2004 " or "Acquisition of citizenship by country of former nationality, 1980 to 2004" All show that about the year 2000, the numbers of immigrants climbed very high. OK... for some reason, it won't direct to the right place on the site. For those that want to put a extra click or two into it. Go ["http://www.migrationinformation.org/GlobalData/countrydata/data.cfm"] here [/url] Scroll to UK, then select "Estimates of the net number of migrants, by five year intervals, 1950 to 2000 (in thousands)" or "op ten sending countries, by country of nationality, 1991 to 2004 " or "Acquisition of citizenship by country of former nationality, 1980 to 2004" All show that about the year 2000, the numbers of immigrants climbed very high. edit to actually add a comment..... "fucking huge and well built" I thought that was what most guys wanted.... No, the fashion usually runs towards slim and toned in this part of the world Brick-shithouse would imply the woman looked like a bouncer, heavyweight boxer or hairy Hells Angel biker dude. I'm not sure what kind of guys you hang with but if thats the type of girl most of them want... I'm still thinking that "fucking huge" could be conveyed as 38DD and "well built".... most guys I know wouldn't kick her out of bed. BUT Back on topic! (cuz talking about well built chicks is boring) I was looking up some numbers... and have to say that Scoop might have a point. Look -
I definately know how to *ahem* take care of myself.... the problem with traveling though is most hotel showers do not have hand held nozzles.....
-
No.... there's a whole thread about that in the Bonfire.... (actually it was a party pee-er)
-
NO... it's more fun to research facts and debate and learn..... That's what we're supposed to do here in SC, isn't it?
-
No clinic currently.... waiting for license paperwork stuffs, so I just get to sit and entertain myself. (I am writing a chapter for a book and working on research though... so not totally bummin) I've gone to NYC/Phili/DC, spend a week with family in WI, then spent a long weekend in the Black Hills, hoping to go to TX to learn to really ride motorcycles and then possibly going out to CA for tunnel and jumping.... I'm enjoying this summer!

Huh? What is your argument against his observations?

What if she's 19, blonde, build like a brick shithouse, mute and easy..... still the closed borders or would you be content with her vacation tearing her away? I noticed the post that money can influence immigration, but what about other factors? Or are you firm on the "closed borders." -
Athough the comments of stripper and call girl were helpful, if you want to consider something a bit more.... demure .... look here for some ideas. http://www.powerhomebiz.com/vol67/weekend.htm Also think about waitressing, photography, sewing, cashier at local store/gas station
