  1. But, but - we've been told over and over that guns aren't designed to kill. Have the Texans been deceiving us? Quote Next time you intend to quote someone please ensure that you quote the right person. And also, rifles and pistols aren't designed to kill, they are designed to fire a bullet, the people who handle them improperly or use them with the intent of harming someone are the ones who turn them into a deadly weapon. Humans are weapons, firearms are merely a tool for them to utilize. Weapons are harmless in the hands of those who know how to utilize them properly and safely and have no ill intentions. Which is why we need to ensure that firearms don't fall into the hands of people who don't have the ability to safely use them or who have proven through conviction that they pose a threat to society. 3. It's a fun weapon to shoot IMO, not a competition rifle but you can still have a lot of fun with it. If you can find them get one that isn't Chinese, they aren't always the best versions. History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. Eisenhower
  4. I think the basics are easy. 1 Treat any firearm as locked and loaded. 2 Never pull unless you mean to kill. (unles at the range) 3 When at a range always keep your firearm pointed away from a target when not indending to shoot it. Anymore? Quote Too bad even simple rules such as that are too much for ome to handle History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. Eisenhower

  8. For the record, the boob is the most deadly weapon in the war against men, this isn't just entrapment, IT'S A DAMN WAR CRIME!! Send that woman to Prauge, she should be hanged at the UN, you don't expose those puppies unless you intend to kill, it's just plain wrong History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. 9. Quick side story on the FAL.......a few years back, when I was a newbie in the world of foreign guns I was a huge advocate of the M-14, who wouldn't be, that thing is consitent at 1K meters. I ran into someone who uses the FAL in competitions, I told him that my opinion was that the FAL was inferior to the M-14 due to the fact that the M-14 had a better feel. Holy shit!!! I have never seen someone get so upset about a simple statement!! Doing a little research I learned a healthy respect for the FAL. Nowadays, I still personally prefer the 14, just because in my hands, it just feels better, but at the same time I have learned a hearthy respect for the FAL, definitely not a weapon to laugh at! 10. I think where the disconnect is happening is that you're making a direct comparison between books and guns, where I am talking about the nature of rights as a whole. If the government is allowed MORE intrusion into where and how ONE right can be granted, you open the door to allow that same intrusion into ALL rights (such as the Jim Crow laws). Quote OK, so from what I gather 2/3 of both of our last posts were sarcasm, so let's push taht aside and focus on this statement right here. I understand your point where you think that if we give the government an inch they will take a mile, that's human nature, we all do it. I was implying the "ideal" situation, in a perfect world, everyone would be well trained in the proper use of firearms before handling one, in the real world, any jackass short of convicted felons can go to the local wal-mart and buy one. Now to use that firearm to hunt, one must pass a hunter's safety course, IMO, we should use the same smart people who came up with the hunter's safety cirriculum to write the weapons handling course. In the real world, Bush would claim that everyone buying a weapon is constructing chemical filled inter-continental blenders in their basement with said firearms, while Cheney is chasing his half brother around the room shooting at him with a shotgun, Condi is claiming the world is perfect while Clinton in is the armchair in the corner getting a blowjob from that American Idol chick, and while Bill O'Reilly is upstairs claiming the whole situation has been spun out of control by the liberals. So what can we do abotu this situation?? Send Chuck Norris into the Senate with a bunch of guns and let him lobby for gun training(nobody says no to CHUCK!) Or if that fails we can all argue on a website that has absolutely no affect on the modern politics of our country and get super mad at each other for no reason whatsoever!! So in summation I say, MNEALTX.....let's agree to disagree....do I think people need more training to handle a firearm???yes!! Do I think a government agency could reasonably come up with an answer to the problem???NO!! Fights over Dan wins!! I'll accept your resignation as a serious poster in SC at your earliest convenience and wish you and your loved ones a happy holidays. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to kick someone's ass, his name starts with CPT Morgans and he stole my brother in law 20 minutes ago History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. 11. OK you need to accept multiple answers, u see I start with front to back, than once that goes awry I make two moves which include an insertion and swirl followed by a front to back where I carefully examine the TP looking for signs of streaking before I run to the shower to make the final cleansing!! it's a technical way of doing things, but sometimes technical is the way to go. !!warning!! do not attempt unless under proper supervision sorry I had to throw a warning in your post but it is now required after the loss of a legal battle last year History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. 12. Do you really think it happened it happened in that order??? Quote I don't know but it would be better if you let me have my thoughts in that order so I don't have to shank him in his sleep History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. Eisenhower
  13. My brother in law, whom I went through basic training with before he married and subsequently started banging my sister, is trashed right now. This may seem normal to most people, but to my brother in law who live under the iron fist of my baby sister, this is a once in a lifetime event, I am enjoying every minute of it and will continue enjoying it while we act retarded in the morning recovering from a hangover, isn't alcohol super!!! 14. All you UFC fans will appreciate this......my dog(Kimora) couldn't figure out while the hell I kept jumping up off the couch screaming her name tonight. GSP almost lands a Kimora on Matt Hughs and transitions to a straight arm bar, I have never seen such perfect transitioning, I honestly thought GSP was bout to spend a few minutes on his back when he mised the Kimora, 90% of all other grapplers would have, but at the same time, most other grapplers haven't spent 3 months in a training camp for the olympic wrestling team. GSP proves why, despite the fact that he doesn't "officially" hold the welterweight title, he is still the top rated welterweight in the world, unquestionably. matt hughes, is on his way to retirement at the tail end of a very successful career. He was simplyoutclassed. Chuck/Wandy on the other hand, Chuck landed more knockout shots against Wandy than he ever has in any of his previous fights and couldn't finish him. I was right about 1 of the 2 predictions of this fight. 1 Chuck will land a solid overhand that will drop Wandy but Wandy will get back up. 2 Wandy will get pissed and finish it. Wandy couldn't be stopped, case and point, he is unstoppable, but Chuck won on points fair and square. Chuck went big to show he is still a force, HE GOT A FUCKING TAKE DOWN!! Chuck doesn't do take downs, he made a big statement that he is still in the game. And Wanderlei, I dare someone to trash him, he may not have won, but he lost to a top rated opponent, that's not a "loss", that's an experience that Wandy will put in his back pocket and learn from. All in all it was a great fight, both fighters looked amazing, and I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. In the end, Chuck could barely talk straight, he even said he couldn't believe how many shots Silva took and stayed on his feet, I think we are looking at one of the best rematchs in the next year or two. and on that note, I'm going to finish off the bottle of Cpt. I'm working on......continue to revel in pain from my surgery the other day and then promise my dog I'm not mad at her and then go pass out somewhere here at my parents place nite everyone History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. 15. Well as for your little crack on the military, basic training does exactly dick to make someone competent with a firearm, it's continued training and familiarization that makes one proficient. And if I read your post right yu are saying that untrained people should be able to purchase firearms as they can now, but at what point do you consider it necessary to require training. I am just trying to understand your point of view so we don't keep going in circles with our replies. I have seen too many idiots, civilians as well as military do stupid things with firearms whih is why i believe anyone who puts their hands on one should be properly trained. And again, I argue that your little book anecdote doesn't tie in to this argument at all. Please tell me how a book can be lethal short of someone making a Wil-E-Coyote-esque contraption utilizing books, anvils, and an oversized rubber band. History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. Eisenhower
  16. I believe you are reading too far into my posts. Gun ownership implies that the individual intends at some point to use the gun. Do you not agree that everone who intends to use a gun should have some sort of training in safe handling of the gun with a set of course standards they have to meet? If individuals show they cannot handle a weapon safely they don't need to have one. You need to take a drivers test to posses a drivers license, vehicles can kill people in an instant just s guns can, so why not train people to properly use them. And also the last time I checked, if you misread a passge in a book that pasage doesn't go flying out of the book and possibly kill someone, so I'm not to sure needing training or a library card is the best answer, just my opinion. Oh, and at no point have I ever said my training put me above criticism, so quit trying to take cheap shots to discount my opinion. 17. Apparently you don't understand how TRUE religion works. God=Tax-exempt bond fund. You send in money at a guaranteed return APY of 0%, the more you send in the higher your return goes, once you break a certain mark it actually increases from 0% to a competitive rate of 0%. Your return rate is also influenced by how many weekends you go to church pretending you live a good life and sit around with your fellow ulra-honest-living cohorts talking about how all the non-believers that don't attend churh are going to hell because they didn't invest the money they pulled out of the lint filter in the new God fund like everyone else at church did. I know it can seem hard to grasp at first but just give it some time, it'll sink in. And if yu're really confused send me $500 and I'll send you our informational God fund packet, as soon as I cash your check I will ensure my gideons personally place a god fund packet in the dresser drawer of the next hotel you intend to stay at. It's a good book, all your questions to investing and living can be answered by randomly opening a page and reading what I personally wrote with the help of my fund manager.....God History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. 18. I'm not. You assume that the gov't will act in good faith when that is never the case. While you're at it, which other rights are you willing to sign away? Quote Since it's a right would you be ok with convicted murderers getting out of prison and owning guns? How about someone who barely has the mental capacity to care for themselves, whether it be someone who's handicap was caused by birth or an accident, do you think they should be able to go out and carry guns as they please? If it's a right shouldn't it be given to EVERYONE? Or how about we continue offering the rght to those who have shown they are not a threat to society SHOULD THEY POSSES A FIREARM. And while we are at it why not force people to prove they are trained to safely handle such a weapon. You have to take a hunter's safety course prior to hunting, why not take a firearms safety course prior to gun ownership? Do you think that you are so experienced with weapons that taking a course to prove you are capable of keeping them is below you? Is that what your issue is? Don't forget I defend the rights of people in the US but when I see something that endangers people I look for a way to allow people to keep their rights that doesn't endanger innocents. If we continue to let idiots carry weapons than eventually we will get someone in ofice who has such a vendetta against gun ownership that they will completely take that right away, so we as gun owners need to act now and show that we are willing to ensure only people who can handle them properly carry weapons so the government doesn't feel the need to intervene on a grand scale. 19. Wouldn't that remove ownership from being a right? Wouldn't that make it a privilege that you have to earn, and could be denied by the government? Just asking. Quote You are 100% correct, it would no longer b a right and I'm OK with that, I've seen countless "trained professionals" do stupid things with guns while I was training them. So turning a "right" into an earned privilige to ensure guns are held by those who can use them responsibly only seems like a logical step forward with our righs. Also IIRC the bill of rights legalizes gun ownership in order to maintain a properly equipped militia to defend our country. Shouldn't that also imply that the militia need to be properly trained as well as equipped? I wouldn't consider it a rollback of our rights just a new interpretation of them. 20. Looks like Chuck and Wanderlei want to go at it before it's time, they had one hell of a stare down at the weigh ins than while they were walking away Chuck threw the bird and Wandy and in return Wandy ran after him and had to be held back by his trainers. I didn't even see a hand shake between the two. Even in the press conference they were going back and forth about who was going to knock who out, it's gonna be one hell of a war. 23. Where the F is that NRA gun safety education program?Quote I definitely wouldn't be against something like that being mandatory prior to purchasing firearms, especially after reading stories like this. 24. I have a feeling we may start seeing a more agressive Machida. Not GSP agressive, but he may step it up a bit, I think he's starting to realize that he can win all the fights he wans but isn't going to go anywhere until he makes them exciting. I agree that Chucky boy is going to drop Wandy with a big one, but he won't stay down which is going to cause Chuck to get desperate, just like he did with Keith when he start running with his right arm straight back trying to fire the knockout. And one thing about Silva is if you telegraph your punches, he's going to read it and slam two straight down the pipe before you can get that one off that you're telegraphing. Just my take, I dod see Wanderlei going down, but not for good. And UFC 82, I like Anderson just because he's a standup guy and carries himself with a lot of class, but Hendo is an icon in this sport, I think he may very well be the only man in the middleweight division to can dethrone the Spider. I can say for sure though it's going to be a war History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D. Eisenhower
  25. And how does shadenfruede affect your karma? Quote My karma isn't affected one bit by her, this is her karma catching up with her for using her families wealth to make a fool of herself and provide an oh so important role model to misguided young girls. It warms my heart seeing her misfortune On a seperate note, it's been a while since I argued with you my friend, how have you been lately??
