I just caught word that Tito will be fighting Lyoto Machida at UFC 85, this fight will end his committment to the UFC and he has stated that contract negotiations have not gone well and he will consider other options and promotions. About his final match though, this is going to be an interesting fight, Lyoto has an incredible counter striking game and at the same time is well versed on the ground. But I live in colorado, so that does jack shit to make me safer, so why is it posted. Is it really so important that someone prove the value of a CCW that they have to quote meaningless statistics. I fully support the 2nd amendment and think that people who don't pose a threat to the public should have the right to carry a weapon if they so choose and have been properly trained in the use of that weapon. But it's not so important to me that I have to go out of my way to try and find a link between lower crime rates and thenumber of CCW holders on the street. If someone really wants to prove their point go through every police report in the country and find out how many show that crimes were prevented by a citizen with a concealed weapon, then we'll talk. An article that says ten more people applied for a CCW and the same week there were ten less murders than average in the same state proves nothing. the rules on dirvers licencses when youare in the military vary from state to state but i will tell you that even if your state does allow you to drive with an expired license an officer pulling you over most likely won't know the laws and will give you a hard time about it. i had an expired colorado license and even though colorado allows you to go three years after your license expires if you are on active duty out of state i still had to go to court when i was pulled over and showed my expired license and my military ID. just get yourself a license in the state you are stationed in and avoid having to talk you way out of a day in court History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. --Dwight D.
