  3. Aww yeah. We had this MASSIVE tree fort built into an apply tree in my neighbors back yard. It had 5 levels and nails sticking out EVERYWHERE. We even made a chair recline on one of the levels. And behind it there was a long row of soft pines that were really close together. I would say about 75 trees. ANd there were vines intertwined in the row so at certain points you could lay about 25 feet up in a nest of vines. We used to go from one end to the other without touching the ground! That was sweet. Of course, if you DID fall, it was probably onto the electric fence for the cow pasture that bordered the trees. I knocked myself out a few times like that. 7. Sorry, it's not. From http://www.usb.org/developers/packaging/ Inconsistent use of terminology in combination with the existing general misconception that USB 2.0 is synonymous with Hi-Speed USB and/or failure to display the Certified USB logo on qualified products creates confusion in the marketplace. Always look for the "High Speed" logo. USB 2.0 can also be "Full Speed", which is the speed used by 1.0 _Am That is only referring to the fact that USB 2.0 is not SOLELY high speed. USB 2.0 can handle low and full (which is USB 1.1), and Hi (480 MB/s). However, since all USB 2.0 can now handle hi speed, for the average consumer, hi speed means USB 2.0. The USB naming you refer to does is meant for the USB capabilities on your computer. It is meant for products which would hook into that port. So, if the product can only use a max transfer of 12 MB/s or 1.5 Mb/s, it is labeled USB. If it can handle 480, it is labeled Hi Speed USB. In any case, the USB PORT on the computer, if USB 2.0, can handle both of these transfer rates. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

  11. I thought this movie rocked! As for not understanding it: I think the problem was that people tried to understand it as a full story. In fact, the movie is based on FOUR different comic books that all happen to be set in the same city. Sure, there is some overlap, but it is incidental. The movie is basically and "upload" of the graphic novel and as is often the case in such novels, violence abounds. I liked the style and the extreme violence. It was definitely like watching a graphic novel being played out. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  12. Definitely. In fact, we even had a tree climbing club when I was little with different ranks: Level 1 (chipmunk) - You could climb almost to the top of a tree Level 2 (squirrel) - You could climb all the way to the top and hang from a branch there for a few seconds Level 3 (monkey) - You could climb anywhere it was possible in the tree, hang from a branch and traverse to another branch from the hang. I was a monkey. This is very similar to the idea that many computer programmers played with Lego's

  17. The whole message made my head hurt. Other than that, it is just like when super markets used to reward the 1,000,000 customer. If you are buying something that you already were going to buy, you may just win. If not, you still got what you need. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

  23. I did not mean that to be harsh at all. Probably should have put some smileys in there I guess. But I have noticed that those who like sushi are always bothered that I don't. And then they ask me what I tried and what I didn't like. Anyway, I had sushi made for me by my japanese roomate once. It was salmon. And it is not that I HATE it. I am just ambivelent. It just does not make me jump up and down and do a sushi dance like everyone I know. I felt the same way when I had carpaccio. I could have eaten more, but I would go to a restaurant and go "WOW! Carpaccio!!!" It should also be known that I am not a big fan of much seafood, raw or otherwise.
