So he was widowed 15 years ago so he had no wife as of 15 years ago. Why would he fight for a dead woman to die? I thought she lived for like 15 years after her heart attack which was why we are having this debate. This conversation is so circular, I have to leave it.... That, or it could be time for me to go home. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

See Bill? He's consistent. Doesn't composed sentences very clearly, but consistent. I completely and utterly disagree with his position and think his supporting arguments are completely specious (you could just as easily say the spouse should choose because the parents can always make another one), but at least he's consistent. I can respect a consistency in position even while disagreeing with that position. I never understand why people respect consistency. If I consistently choose to punch someone in the face everytime I see them, do you respect me for my choice? Being consistent just means that it is all that much harder to change. And change is what makes us grow. What SHOULD be respected is consistency with good reasoning to back it up. It IS possible to have good reasoning even for an idea that is not agreed upon. greed noun Excessive desire for more than one needs or deserves: acquisitiveness, avarice, avariciousness, avidity, covetousness, cupidity, graspingness. Informal grabbiness. See desire, give/take/reciprocity. Could someone point me to the definition that deals with "production of value" because I cannot find it. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. I don't even understand this. Is this saying I care about this? If so, I do care. Not the situation in itself (should she die or not), but the response by the world (including her parents). Otherwise, If this is about being on TV to show you care: Mourning for a family member should be a private thing. Why should I care that you know I care about them? If my brother died, I would not go on TV so I could sure that you know that I care for him. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

CBC view on political divisiveness in US media

It may be interesting but it makes me sad. What I want is for all the pundits, talking heads, political hacks, and hosts from ALL the cable new channels to sit on a stage and let Jon Stewart tear into them just like he did on Crossfire. That was awesome. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing. -
Michael's choice of not showing emotions for the world to see is what I would have done. Death is private, it was Terri's family that made it public, playing on the world's emotions. How do you know what Michael felt or didn't feel? He did make a circus of Terri, her family did. I agree. Grieving for a relative is not something to parade on the TV. Doing a news conference every hour does not make your cause just. It just makes you look like a media whore. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

Not all of us are pro-lifers, some of us just don't believe the "husband". Judy Well, you don't have to. The courts did. It is done. Let's all move on to the next media firestorm. What will it be? A kidnapping (even though they happen all the time)? a celebrity murder (even though murders happen all the time)? maybe more steroids! Man, I cannot wait. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Are you really more "free" if you live in the US?

What is different about the laws on drinking in Europe compared to the US? Well, number one is age. number two is probably open container laws. Those are the two big differences I know. Someone else can chime in the rest. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing. -

mmm, nothing like splitting a country right down the middle (or slightly to the right thereof or way right or...dammit you know what I mean). Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing. -
That sucks. I actually left PA because I could not find a job I liked after school. Plus I just needed a change. I am from around that area. Parents still live just outside of Hershey. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

Ann Coulter is a disgrace to all reasonable republicans (no I don't want to hear how there are no reasonable ones). The woman makes a living off of hating people for their political affiliation and making sure that we stay separate. the worst thing that could happen for her would be for the political parties to come to a compromise. She is not interested in a stronger America. She is interested in a stronger bankroll. She makes me want to retch. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing. -

Yes, narrow minded people. I dislike them to. Like those narrow minded people who cannot undestand a joke even when it is clearly spelled out for them. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing. -
Closing pin Jewelry tradition/faux pas
GTAVercetti replied to huka551's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Ahh, but see that is different than what I said. People got those stupid jackets BECAUSE everyone else had them. Even though they sucked. The ones who did not wear them probably did not wear them for 2 reasons: 1) They thought they were ass (correct!) 2) Simply because they were popular (ie. they liked them but since everyone else had one, they did not want to own one). The first reason is good. The second reason is silly. If you like something then you should own it, even if it is popular. And even if the item you buy makes you look like a big douchebag. I thought this was a very good post. I would not say that it is pro-gun people who say all those things about Europe, but I would say that many of the people I PERSONALLY know (from all walks of life) have at least a somewhat similar opinion. From my time in England, here are some of the things: 1) Most people go to work, pay taxes, pay rent, etc, just like the US and they did not seem to be "oppressed under government" 2) There was just as much, if not MORE, political action and opinion given. 3) I could carry an open can of beer around 4) Commerce is brisk. My friends owned tons of electronics, the latest fashions, and all sorts of cool stuff that they bought with earned, not given, money. 5) The PM actually has to go before parliment and GET YELLED AT on a weekly basis. I think that is a fantastic idea. During my time there, I found no reason to think that Europe was less free than the US. At a quick glance, it is the same. But on closer inspection, it does appear that England at least has more personal rights to me. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing. -
whoa whoa. I am not a metro. That's it!!! Next time I see you, I'm going to give you the smack down with a bottle of conditionerLMAO Rob, yes you are! Nothing worse than a closet metrosexual The closest I ever came to being metro was when I styled my hair about a year ago. Have you SEEN what I wear? Faded kermit the frog and Legend of Zelda shirts over ratty torn up long sleeve shirts do not a metro make. And come summer? I wear nothing but white T-shirts.
