  1. That is a horrible horrible view. The world cannot be changed by its inhabitants? Not only is that unbelievably pessimistic, it is completely untrue. And on the smaller scale, if you think that no one has the ability to make someone else happy or affect them in a positive way, you must have no friends or family who care about you. If that is true, I feel sorry for you. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  2. If I could, I would give all my money to the government to help others. I don't want to be bothered to do it myself. ------- Personally, to spread "humanity", I just like to treat people with the respect and decency they deserve (please note that DESERVE qualifier). And even if they don't deserve it, I am usually nice, unless they are actively rude and mean to me. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  3. Would you feel the same if the company said that you can't skydive on your own time? I am QUITE certain that I am not allowed to skydive into the parking lot where I work. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  4. Where is here? That first link is readable and she is American in California. There is a small and frightening group of people who do not believe AIDS is caused by HIV. Many of them believe that AIDS is cause by the retroviral medications for HIV. Or that what people think of as AIDS is merely separate ocassions of already known diseases. It is not Denial. It is belief, however idiotic it may seem. And it is NOT illegal to refuse testing in ALL PARTS of America. As far as I know, NY is the only one that makes it compulsory Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

  6. Does it seem that there is a conspiracy here to take Bonfire-type posts and put them in Speaker's Corner? I blame Bush, he's trying to soften our critical thinking. Wait, I blame the democrats, they want all the kids on drugs. No, wait, I blame the republicans, they want the drug companies to get rich. Now that's something - the Dems and Reps are in league with the big drug companies to get all the kids drugged up to emasculate boys and make all the kids more pliable to socialistic concepts all at the same time generating revenue for big business. It's a win-win situation. Or a lose-lose situation depending on how you look at it. If this is true, then I blame the Democrats and Republicans for making me have latent stress and creating my 10 year long insomia (which sucks ass by the way). 7. Dude I run at a 2560 x 1024 resolution. Those images are cleaning about 1 inch in my top left corner. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  8. "I had my right front tooth broken in a freefall collision... " You don't see to many freefall collisions on the sidewalk. Sparky I was refering to the broken tooth, but I see what you are doing Smarty McSmartypants. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

  10. And here is my (rather angry now that i read it again) essay on the hypeman: There is a phenomena in rap music. It is a reality that plagues both good and poor rappers alike. And this grand affliction annoys the fucking hell out out of me. What is this, you ask? Why it is the dreaded hypeman of course. Ahh the hypeman. Oh how he sucks my balls. Here is my view on the hypeman. Back a rapper's early career, he had alot of friends who were also trying to break into the business. He had uncles, nephews, nieces, accountants, and surgeons. And the rapper and his "circle" made a pact: whoever got big would support the others and help them get deals. So, when the rapper finally made it, he brought his friends with him. And the they found out that the friends lacked the real talent to make it. Oh, what is a poor rap artist to do? And then the answer came: Put the friends on stage and have them REPEAT THE LAST FOUR WORDS of EVERY GODDAMN FUCKING LINE. Thus, the hypeman was spawned from the 4th circle of Hell. And he should go back there. Of course, now adays, the hypeman is not ALWAYS the retarded half brother of a rap artist sister's uncle's roommate' brother's dentist. No, when you have a big concert with many headliners who are friends, they become hypemen for each other. I don't know what it is but I know it sucks all that is holy. There is nothing worse that I can think of in rap than when I go to a concert to hear one guy only to have his voice blasted over by some dumbass that someone decided deserved a mike. Yeah, he deserves a mike...but only in his ass. Now, really, I would not mind much if they sounded good. If the voices were harmonized a bit or EXACTLY on time like Jurassic 5 when they all rap together. It sounds good. But is this the case? Hell no. Instead, most of these mediocre rejects from jizz mopper school say the lines a half second after the main dude. The result is a cacophony of sound that is painful to the ears and ruins the song. Case in point is the little short dude from Old School. He is some friend of Snoop's no doubt and a has a horrible voice. And yet, there he is, hyping it up and even gettting his own little part. No doubt Snoop owed some favors. If rappers want to give back to those who supported them, just give em cash. Spare our ears. Since I am on the topic of hypemen, there is another that does not deserve my attention but is going to get it. Rap CD commercial voice-over hypemen. Why do these promoters feel the need to yell? For one, I would never get my rap information from a TV commercial. For two, I am relatively sure that no one who enjoys the rap genre and respects themself does either. And for three, why MUST THEY YELL? Yes, I understand a new Cisco CD is coming out ( I realize he is not rap, but R&B and HipHop are not immune either). Yes, I understand it is in stores now. Yes, understand his new joint is phat. Yes, I understand you are a tool. Move on and tone it down. You are going to burst a blood vessel in your brain and die. Oh wait, keep yelling please. I am not sure where THIS phenomena started. Did it evolve from the street corner promoters who perhaps yelled to passerbys about their CD's? Maybe. And that is fine for the street. People driving by or walking on the other side of the street may not be able to hear you in you Indoor Voice, but for fuck's sake, yelling on TV does not make me buy anything. I watched that sports memorabilia guy who was on at 3 am for years and I never bought a goddamn thing. And he made these hypemen look like rank amateurs. No, in most cases, it makes me do like everyone else: turn it down or turn it off. Hypemen suck. We should work hard to rid this planet of their kind. The world would be much better and I could understand what the hell is being said at a rap concert without human created distortion. So here is to you Hypemen. We give you the one finger salute, you dickheads Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  11. taxes are a part of government. I recognize that. But it seems that your philosophy is the usual Marx response: "From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs" And that is something I do not agree with...at all. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  12. I want to distribute my money how I want. I don't want my government to force me to be "noble" because I am successful. And that is the idea of liberalism. Not socialism. Liberalism Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  13. That is not PETA though. They believe in not killing ANY animals. Sve for the decimation of the rodent population when haversting the wheat they eat of course. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  14. Thanks. I actually wrote an essay about it one time. I will post it tommorrow. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  15. Flava Flav is what they call a "hype man." His sole purpose is to get the crowd pumped up. I hate hype men because they generally just end up repeating the rapper's last 5 words a few seconds after he does. Annoying as shit. Oh and he does rap on occassion. See "911 is a joke" for reference. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  16. The attitudes of PETA make Rob angry. Rob smash. ( I am Rob, by the way) Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  17. Incorrect. Anytime you try and label "all" of a group of people as something, you are bound to be wrong. Like: "all Jews are penny-pinchers" or; "all blacks like watermelon". There are 100 senators, and 435 representatives. I think it is very jaded and incorrect of you to presume that all 535 of these men and women are crooked. You won't get any credibility from me with statements like that. Wrong again. Oh, I am sorry. United...under republicans. But don't worry, the Democrats have people just like that too. Both sides have plenty of people to keep us separated far into the future. And as for the first statement, it was semi-tongue in cheek. THe point being that there are bad guys on both side of the fence. The blanket statement was hyperbole to get that across. But jaded? I have seen the wa the direction of this country has been going for many years....so yeah, I might be a bit jaded and hoping for some change, but knowing it probably will not happen anytime soon. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  18. Consider this. What is the purpose of such a company rule? Presumably, they're worried about people shooting off their guns in the parking lot, causing the company to be sued. But all over America, there are already people with guns in their cars, and you never hear of any company parking lot shootouts. So this is really just the company acting out of fear to protect themself in the event of some lawsuit. If there is some kind of injurious gun discharge, the company can just say; "Hey, we told 'em not to bring their guns to work - don't blame us!" But anyone intent on purposefully shooting another, is not going to give a damn about a minor company rule. Such a rule won't stop things like murder, aggravated assault or armed robbery. But such a rule will certainly provide a defenseless victim-rich environment for these criminals. So, when a woman with a concealed handgun license is raped in the company parking lot at night, because she was unable to defend herself due to obeying the company gun-ban policy, I hope she sues the ass off the company for forcing her to be a helpless victim. I guess the company doesn't care as much about their employees becoming violent crime victims. I work in a pretty bad area of town. Guns are not allowed on our property. I walk to the metro everyday, yet we have had no incidents in many years of employees being attacked or assaulted. The need for handguns in the car or on the person for protection is highly overrated and blown out of proportion by gun lobbyists and activists. They serve the same purpose as the media does in creating a climate of fear in this country. Our country is REALLY not as dangerous as people try to make it. But that is all beside the point. I believe in the right to own guns and I don't care to get into a debate over gun use and the history of guns in our country. I don't care what the reason is for a company's decision. The point is that it is their decision. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  19. God. When are you going to realize they are ALL crooked? They use the same tactics but only for different ideologies. But I forgot, you LIKE a divided country. Us and them mentality is so very very tiring. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  20. Sucks, but that could happen walking on the sidewalk too. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  21. fixed it for ya Apprently you have never seen ANY speech given by Bush where he had to respond on the fly. Think on his feet...yeahhhhhh. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  22. Oh geeze, I hope yoiu never flipped off anyone in your life since you started throwing stones. If you hate Bush great, but just stop crying about it when he does the SAME thing that you have done. This video is utterly old anyway. Anyone in their right mind can see he was fooling around with the crew before they went live. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  23. No, I did not say that. I only refer to africa because it is easier than stating every country in the Continent and their specific problems. Generally, people do not discuss AIDS as a problem of Zimbabwe or the Ivory Coast, but of the CONTINENT of Africa. A poor choice of words perhaps, but you choose to interpret my words into something racist because it does not jive with your idea of "Just say no". The idea of dominating woman DOES transcend tribal boundaries in many cases. However, regardless of what you think, one of the common methods of AIDS transference is the subsurvience of women and the resulting lack of protection. The practice of Dry sex increases possibility fo transfer as well because of vaginal bleeding. This is a practice prevailent in sub-Sahara Africa, across cultural and country lines, where the AIDS problem is the greatest. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  24. You must be a mind reader of some sort, as I do not see Africa anywhere in my posts, nor was close in the context to what it was made. Perhaps you would like to do a google search on "overpopulation" and you will be amazed at the birth rates in the Africa continent. A whole shitload of attitude worldwide should change, my point of view was strictly in reference to the fact that if you can't support your children, then you shouldn't have a few dozen of them. So, do you think people should not be accountable/responsible for the choices they make? Apparently you have no concept of what responsibility means. Funny, because the situation in Africa and AIDS (tha abstinence was about prevention of the disease not children) is EXACTLY what we were talking about. Sorry I was under the asumption that you were following the conversation. Yes, I believe in personal responsibility. But that does not negate the fact that CULTURAL traditions and ideals ingrained for YEARS in Africa have an effect on practices. A woman who refuses sex there is often labeled a whore, ostracized, beaten, raped, killed, etc. A woman who wants to use protection is treated in a similar manner. It is a question of the man's manhood. A woman who is married is meant to please her husband and infidelity is common and not as looked down upon when it is done by a man. Now how exactly does a woman go about refusing to have sex when in that situation? The culture denies it. Of course there is personal responsibility, but the IDEA of personal responsibilty is different depending on culture. And it takes more than just saying "Don't do that" to change a culture's mindset. Honestly, to think that saying abstinence is the way to a culture such as Africa's is naive. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  25. Speaking of AiDS in Africa. here is a headline from the onion: "U.S. Launches AIDS-Awareness Campaign In Botswana: 'You All Have AIDS,' Says U.S." Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
