Yeah, I ran into the same problem. Try restarting your browser completely. If that does not work, try restarting the computer. Flash 8 has been sketchy for me. I hate when a site REQUIRES flash. I should be able to skip it if I want. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

I LOVE my Dell Dj. It is the first generation. Slightly bigger but the battery last 20 hours. I have 1900 songs and 10 gigs to go. I don't know how good the new, slimmer (and smaller battery) is, but it is cheaper than an iPod. Dell DJ Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

Laws come and go, these are pretty minor when you sit down, face to face, to dinner with a family from either country. And how do your examples differ from 50% of our population's leanings? It takes all kinds and you likely have a large divergence of thought within Canada as well to parallel anything we got. Sorry, but I just can't agree with all you guys crying about how this country or that country is so special. It's just people and we're all pretty much the same. Edit: Do guys just ignore that I'm giggin just as much on JohnRich's statements as the rest of you? Or is it easier to just assume something else? Don't worry. I got it. That is good. We had an incident with people in the back of the plane yelling at us at the front (when I used to do RW) to "get the fuck out" cause the light was on. If that ever happens, I usually do one of two things: 1) ignore them. I can see the ground, they cannot 2) Give them the finger and calmly resume spotting It is always nice when you correct a spot for some idiot who was yelling at you and then having them apologize and thank you on the ground for spotting well. Read my post again. I made some edits. IE helped MAKE the standard and does not follow it. That is what makes me mad. Why bother helping to design a uniform standard if you are just going to take a shit on it? But I digress. I have not been to skydiving movies in awhile and am not on the neato picture. I run into problems with Launch! (yahoo's music video site) which insists that I have to run Netscape 4.x for it to work or IE. Seriously, it is mad cause I am trying to use a NEW mozilla browser. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

When something works in IE but not in Firefox, it is not usually because it "works right" but because either the site designer designed ONLY for IE and screwed the other browsers or they unknowingly used some proprietary non-standard MS shit. Or used non standard cascading style sheets. Or non-standard...see what I am getting at? Microsoft was on the team that helped design the W3C standards and they cannot even follow them. Being a web developer makes me so angry with IE I want to break things. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

Blame Frenchy. He's the one who started it. I am starting to think it is just like a period following the period. If it is not present, I think, "what poor punctuation this poster possesses." My alliteration is masterful. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

If he doesn't give you the choice of spit or swallow, tell him he doesn't get the choice of blow job or no blow job. (That said, I'm already on record on DZ.com that there's only one correct choice ... and it's not "spit") That is a good choice. You don't see me spitting after a girl orgasms. Or for that matter during. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

That is it! I demand there be no more use of the icon. Everyone is so very sarcastic and unimpressed...we get it. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

Ben Affleck on Real Time With Bill Maher (Gun Laws)
GTAVercetti replied to Douva's topic in Speakers Corner
Yeah, amazing ain't? Otherwise they are jerks who should keep their damn mouths shut. It always strikes me as funny that just because someone is a celebrity, they suddenly do not have the right to an opinion on politics. But anyway, good on Ben Affleck, even if I think he often acts like a douche bag and makes lots of crappy movies. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing. -
I've got say that this might just become my sig line. I'll see how I feel about it after I'm done chuckling. A good authentic chimi is just fresh chicken, maybe peppers and onions wrapped in a tortilla (open ended) and quickly deep fried then covered in cheese sauce (white goat cheese, preferably). Freshness is the goal here. Those humongous things at the quasi-fast food places (Don Pablo's, Chi Chi's, Chevy's) are nasty and shouldn't be held in the same category as a good chimi. Margarita's are always good. "A deep-fried wheat tortilla stuffed with minced beef, potatoes, and seasonings. The term was long considrerd a nonsense word-a Mexican version of "whatchamacallit" or "thingamajig"--reputedly coined in the 1950s in Tucson, Arizona, although Diana Kennedy, in her Cuisines of Mexico (1972) reports that fried burritos in Mexico are called by the similar name chimichangas. But in The Food Lovers Handbook to the Southwest, Dave DeWitt and Mary Jane Wilan noted that Tucson writer Janet Mitchell found that chang'a means female monkey in Spanish and a chimney of the hearth. When put together this becomes, according to Jim Griffith of the Arizona Southwest Folklore Center, a polite version of "unmentionable Mexican expletive that mentions a monkey." According to DeWitt and Wilan , Investigator Mitchell heard tales about the first chimichanga being created when a burro was accidentally knocked into a deep-fat fryer, and the cook exclaimed "Chimichanga!" She had also heard that a baked burro cooked in a bar in Nogales [Arizona] in the 1940s had been called a toasted monkey. The logical conclusion, then, was that the idiom chimichanga means toasted monkey and is an allusion to the golden-brown color of a deep-fried burro'." ---Encyclopedia of American Food and Drink, John F. Mariani [Lebhar-Friedman:New York] 1999 (p. 78) The key being seasoning, but a chimi can be anything you want it to be. Your version is just one of many. Its not like a chimi is generations old to have some kind of steeped history The only thing that is similar is the chiVichanga (note the V, not an M) of the Sonora region. meat, cheese, and beans, tortilla, deep fried. So back off my chimi and cilantro. I like flavor. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

Well no shit dude. It doesn't say BITE the testicles. It just says attention. I make it point to let her know what I want done and what I DON'T want done. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
-
This is a key point for me: 2) Testicles. They want your attention. It's RUDE that you don't give it to them. There they are, innocently hangin' there, conveniently placed, and you ignore them??? Now come on. They won't hurt you! They're hearing all sorts of good things about you from their friend the penis. Why are you going to leave them out of your reindeer games??? Give them a little fondle with your hand (y'know, the one that's NOT wrapped around the penis or gripping your partner's incredibly fabulous ass), show them around the inside of your mouth, batter them a little bit with your tongue! See? It's fun! And oh, the noises you'll get out of your partner! Woohoo!

I don't like Haggis either. Ick indeed. Take out the chilis, chili powder and cilantro and I'd eat the chimichanga. Just don't like things that set my mouth and alimentary canal on fire. How does the cilantro do that? Its mexican parsley. And you could still get the flavor of the chili without the heat. Just use less chili (or less hot variety) and skip the powder. It ain't crucial to the meal. mmmm, chimichanga. I wish I had one right now. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

Yeah seriously. Let us compare: Haggis - 1 sheep's pluck (stomach bag) 2 lb.. dry oatmeal 1 lb. suet 1 lb. lamb's liver 2 1/2 cups stock 1 large chopped onion 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper, Jamaica pepper and salt Chimichanga - 2 c. chopped or shredded cooked chicken or steak 1 med. onion, diced 2 cloves garlic, minced 2 med. tomatoes, chopped 2 cans (4 oz.) chopped green chilies 1 tsp. salt 1 1/2 tsp. oregano 1 to 2 tsp. chili powder 2 tbsp. minced, fresh cilantro 12 lg. flour tortillas, warmed Vegetable oil Shredded cheddar Sour cream Guacamole Salsa Shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, sliced black olives I think the choice is clear. But I will give you a clue. It does not involve suet or lamb's liver. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

... and then go out for chimichangas and margaritas I enjoy both of those items thoroughly. I am voting for you. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

How many constitutional rights should we give up when we go to work? Free speech, freedom of religion, freedom from unreasonable search and seizure? We're talking about the Federal Government protecting personal rights, not abolishing property rights. Being able to own and keep a gun is a constutional right. Being able to bring it onto any private property you wish is not. A company making a rule about no guns is NOT the GOVERNMENT making a rule about no guns. The Bill of Rights is meant to protect from government infringement, not private infringement (see most of my latest posts in this thread for sources -- including the government's own text from their immigration site) Therefore, if they do not make a law requiring companies to allow guns even if they don't want them, then nobody's rights are violated while property rights are kept from being further eroded. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
