Congrats! At the same time you were making your 100th jump, your man was over here jumping with me. He told me that you were probably making #100 as we spoke and wished he could have been there with you. I did this one time. It was while stowing brakes out on the landing field after a jump but I caught the mistake while repacking the rig back in the hangar. I had one premature brake deployment but this was after a packer had packed for me so I am not sure if there was a problem with the way they were stowed or if it just happened. I stow the brakes out on the field but I dont stow the excess line until I repack. This assures that I will come back to the brakes for a second look. __ My mighty steed

Doubt it. I didnt experience this at altitude, nor was I impaired in any way while up there. This symptom didnt manifest until later on the ground after the jumping was all over with. __ My mighty steed

Cant say for sure but I'd say its fairly high. Philadelphia just to the northwest across the river, Camden just to the north, Atlantic City just to the east. It was also very hot and humid. 90 degrees on the ground and hazy. Dont know any specific fact regarding smog in the area but I've never experienced any similar symptoms before and I've lived around here for about 35 of my 40 years. __ My mighty steed

Hello, My usual number of jumps in a day at the DZ is 3 with the occasional 4. This past Saturday I made 7 awesome jumps from 13,500 (and higher) ft. and afterwards I was experiencing a strange sensation in my chest almost like a mild bronchitis or irritation in my upper chest. I could feel this while taking a deep breath. No accompanying congestion or coughing and it was gone by the next afternoon. Never having made that many jumps in a day before I'm assuming that its associated with repeated unpressurized trips to altitude and subsequent quick return to the ground. Anyone else ever have this? Is it a common result from lots of jumps when you arent used to that many? PS. I'm very fit physically, cardio 7 days a week and weights 4 days a week. Dont smoke, drink, or use any drugs. I do swear quite a lot though __ My mighty steed

OK, you guys both answered the question to my satisfaction. I CAN if I want to but there is no reason to do so. I am completely new to the whole video thing so some of my thoughts may seem ignorant I DO have a capture card but the quality of the video is junk even when I use the s-video input. Damn but those .avi files are large. a 2.5 minute clip ended up at about 550 MB Thanks again Chris __ My mighty steed

Hey all, Just getting set up to capture video via firewire from camera to computer. I'm using Adobe Premiere Pro. All works great except for one thing. It automatically captures into .avi file format and I cant seem to find where I might change this (to mpeg2 for instance) Anyone have experience with this application? Chris __ My mighty steed

I think RWS is going to equip the next generation of Vector (4?) with an additional handle that throws a sombrero. You would pull this handle in the event of a bag lock. __ My mighty steed
