  1. Yup- helped some of them get their Freak Brother numbers at SDC a few years ago. Might have been a 12 way? I was part of the base- that's a lot of pressure not to funnel a launch, huh? No FB base for them to dock on, no FB number!
  2. Dark roast, freshly ground and brewed strong w/ half and half, no sugar. What do you call that? I'll settle for milk if I have to but I like the flavor and consistency of cream. The heavy cream is just a little too much though. And I really don't like the flavor of the ultra pastuerized stuff either- I think they zap it a little too much in order to make it last in the fridge for 6 months!
  3. LOVE the hairy toes with the coral polish!
  4. Don't forget the fried egg on top with a runny yolk! YUM!
  5. I LOVE a good foot, ankle and calf massage. And there is no reason to stop at the calf either!
  6. I definitely would not do it. Had it done to me once- it wasn't bad, exactly, but it was kind of weird and I did not want to kiss him afterwards! It was his idea and he really seemed to enjoy it!
  7. An open house is a great way to meet a realtor too. A lot of brokers will have their newer agents sit the open houses- that's one way for them to get leads and new clients. The listing agent doesn't necessarily want to spend an entire Saturday or Sunday handing out cards and flyers. Especially since at least half the people who walk through open houses are curious neighbors, not serious buyers. (Hey, I've done it. Its cool to see what 500K will buy, right? ) I agree about visiting the neighborhood at night, too.
  8. Are you only looking at one place? I probably looked at over 100 during a 6 month period and put in offers on 2 before I bought the house I live in now. Seriously. I also had to replace my first realtor who was not helping me at all- missed a lot of opportunities to see places because she wouldn't make calls for me. A lot of listing agents won't give a potential buyer the time of day without another realtor involved. I don't know what state you are in, but where I live, the buyer's agent is normally paid out of the commission that the seller pays at closing. Things like closing cost credits? In my experience, they are not always worth it and you are usually better off negotiating a better purchase price. First, the credit is normally only good up to the amount of actual costs. If they offer a $10,000.00 credit but your costs are only $2,000.00, you lose $8,000.00. Also, many times, when a lender/ loan officer/mortgage broker sees the seller is paying a % of costs, that is their greenlight to charge more/ higher fees than they ordinarily would. Not saying always, but I have seen it happen .......... Just my thoughts. Look at more places, price similar homes in the area, do your homework. It IS a buyer's market right now, but still a huge investment.
  9. + 1 They got really easy to put back together after the first few times.

    CatGenie

My cats get supervised outside/yard time too, but only only one of them will ever "go" outside. The others will wait until they are back inside and use the litter box!

I had a friend who toilet trained her cats- the only problem was that they really did not differentiate between the toilet, the bathroom sink or the kitchen sink. Gross!

I wondered about those myself. I think the idea is really cool. I'm not sure I would ever spend the money or go through the trouble of getting one "installed" without knowing at least a few people who used them and just loved them. I've used the "LitterMaid" before with mixed results, and finally came to the conclusion that if you had more than one cat, it was just as much work (if not more) as a regular litter box. Those cost a lot less and just need to be plugged in, not hooked up to the plumbing!
  13. This is a no bullshit post!!! I was on the stuff after some dental surgery and I got so backed up it fooking hurt. So what does my clever self do? Took twice the regular dose of exlax. 2 hrs went by and nothing so I took twice the dose again. At about hour 6 into this regimen the FIRST dose hit. Suffice it to say if I so much as thought I had to fart I was running for the crapper. Point is if you keep up with the fiber this should't be any problem. Heal up quick. Yeah- exlax is NOT a good idea when you are on crutches and RUNNING to the bathroom isn't an option!
  14. My best advice to survive the next 8 weeks or so is this ........ 1) Try to stay on top of/ ahead of the pain. Pain management is an important part of the healing process- energy your body spends fighting pain could be used healing bones, etc. Don't overdue it, but recognize that trying to "tough it out" is counterproductive. 2) Waterproof cast cover, shower stool and a hand held shower head are essential items, IMO! There's just something about taking a proper shower that makes you feel more human. Being able to do stuff like washing your hair by yourself also helps you feel more independent. 3) Get some fiber in your diet if you are taking any type of codeine. 4) elevate, elevate, elevate. If you are at a restaurant, grab an extra chair so you can keep your leg elevated. The swelling is brutal enough, no reason to make it any worse than it has to be. 5) your first few days weightbearing will probably be worse than what you are feeling now- stash a few pain pills away for 6 weeks from now. You will need them. 6) don't blame a fluke down draft or "skygods" for your accident. Ask someone who watched your landing (an instructor) for an honest opinion of what happened- flared too high, flared too late, didn't flare all the way, didn't flare evenly? If you want to return to the sport and don't want to get hurt again, being honest with yourself is a good place to start. If not, disregard this and you'll have some great stories to tell all your whuffo friends.

    Headache

If you were in a giving mood - Sex as a headache cure only works if you are on the receiving end!
  16. OK, yeah- I had a boyfriend like that once upon a time. Me too. I didn't keep him around long at all, but you know... I kept mine for a few years. I was young, and really didn't know any better ........... Besides, he wasn't completely without skills!
  17. OK, yeah- I had a boyfriend like that once upon a time.
  18. agreed, with you and Natile's reasoning. (....also Natural and large boobs, agree with Cyndi and O on when to choose to wear certain clothing, easy to cover em' up or times to wear boobie shirts and be more out there) Yes, and we also know the difference between an appreciative glance, a creepy leer and that WTF? look which I am pretty sure is what the OP was busted giving.
  19. Ok, if I have to guess, she gave you the "look" because she could see from your face that you were NOT staring in admiration, but more the way you would stare at a burn victim or other disfigured person with the added disbelief that she actually did this to herself! (This coming from a person with somewhat large NATURAL boobs. )
  20. Start with more sleep, then head over to the all you can eat Chinese Buffet place. Plenty of greasy food there to choose from, and a nice cold fizzy diet pepsi! But for me, if its a really bad one, I can't even hold water down for those first few hours.
  21. Nope, you are not alone! My mom lives in my house- we made an "inlaw suite" for her in the basement. Funny how things come full circle with me supporting her now. Not an ideal arrangement but what can you do? Yes, she drives me crazy most of the time. Passive aggressive remarks, lack of respect for my privacy, nagging, guilt trips, etc .......... I know she's lonely so I try to be patient with her. It isn't always easy. But the flip side is that she really does try to help out and do things for me.
