    In my experience none of that stuff makes a difference. I've travelled a lot with my rig, always as a carry on. Worst case is that I need to give it to a flight attendant, who then stores it "somewhere safe" and gives it back to me when I leave the kite. t It's the year of the Pig.

    Shelf life. Those are both going to look like the Yeti sitting on a hillside 30 years from now... I knew a woman who had a Dolphin tattoo. It looks like a killer whale now. t It's the year of the Pig.

    Well, cos it's a differnt class, for one. The Ruger, Colt Woodsman and GSP are all semi auto's. The Hammerli isn't. t It's the year of the Pig.

    I've been jumping 21 years and am in my mid 40's. My peers who do not skydive look like they have... swelled somewhat. Sure, I'm about 10lbs heavier than I was 25 years ago, but it's not the 50+ pounds others have added. Skydiving certainly helps keep you in shape... or you need to be in shape to keep skydiving. I'm not sure if its the chicken or the egg. t It's the year of the Pig.

    Too many variables. We weigh a different amount on every jump. We jump through differnent air on every jump. I watch soccer players who get paid millions try and put a ball in the same place each time and fail. What makes you think we can begin to be constant? We are different on each jump. There are no constants. You have no need to measure my joy. Just fly. t It's the year of the Pig.

    I don't know about solid ground, but a few Tandem passengers have said it sounds like a jet. I was asked by one "What engines does it have?" t It's the year of the Pig.

    I have faith! I leap through the door, arms outstretched, powered by childhood dreams of flight formed before I could hold a pencil. What I lack in theoretical knowledge I make up for with love and desire. My flights inspire me. The images etched in my minds eye cannot be described or reproduced on a spreadsheet, or any other medium other than a child like imagination.

    Edited my post. My point is that anything based on a GPS is bullshit. Aircraft designers knew before 1915 that ground speed and airspeed were not the same thing. GPS tells you squat. See attached pic of my airspeed. t It's the year of the Pig.

    It's not stress. It's blood pressure. You pull G's during deployment regardless of how relaxed you are. Your heart rate HAS to increase to maintain the bloodflow to your brain. t It's the year of the Pig.
