That's beautiful. I think it's great that we now hold people without trial on foreign soil in definitely and deny them any due process of law. This kind of precedent scares me a lot more than any terrorist does, this is truly terrifying. I know how you feel. The apartheid government had "detention without trial." Agreed. I've thought about it after these - and conclude that the more I learn, the safer I get. Watching people with a couple 100 jumps routinely smashing themselves makes me feel athletic and spritely. I could race many to bording point and win! So I stay. Agreed. I did think it was sad, and still get sad when I see one - and think what we do is quite pointless and very dangerous - but it defines me - so I'll be on the next load. Agreed. Turn 180 and track. Unless you are a) breaking off very high b) are an exceptional tracker (not damn good) c) There is insufficient seperation between groups exiting the aircraft d) another exceptional tracker is tracking down line of flight, You will have no problem. t It's the year of the Pig.

It's not only the cutter that will draw attention. If you've seen a lot of bombs - and not a lot of rigs - a rig can look REALLY exciting on an X-Ray. This is mainly because of the reserve ripcord heading to the centre of a metal coil spring, and the cutter (A detonator) terminating inside a large body of low bulk (Packed Nylon - but could be C4, Semtex or some IE) material. t It's the year of the Pig.

You're in Europe, so get a Barigo. They're simple, reliable, cheap and ever to easy to repair if they get smashed. (I loan gear to my AFF students and they smash several a year, so I know) If you're not going to smash it, go for the Alti 2 Safire. Nice kit.
