I would tend to agree with that. I'd also throw in (as someone else has) being able to deal with the ramifications would also distinguish the two. Maybe something else about... being selective with who and how you choose your sexual partners may also play into the difference... but I'm not quite sure about that...

Yeah, I'm all for the 1/2 a sandwich, 1/2 a salad combo. The Sierra Turkey is really the only sandwich I've ever had there... but it's great!! ... you guys are vaaary entertaining!!

Right, but the rules make sense sometimes and sometimes they don't. I say, put commas where you think they should go to have the sentence read the way you want. Okay, so some of the punctuation rules are kinda important.

I'm on your side. However, I wish there was a thread called "Punctuation ... Does it REALLY matter?" Seriously, punctuation is more uselss than spelling. And I hate punctuation.
