I'm a 20 year old college student graduating in December in hopes of finding a job. I'm 5'3 and I haven't jumped out of a plane in quite awhile but still read and very occasionally post in bonfire. I run, I sleep, I study, I lift weights, I organize and clean especially when I'm angry or hyper and I'd love to live in CA.

When given those options, I'll say bad. I took a philosophy course... we discussed this... but I don't remember why or where we sited philosophers or anything... so, yeah, maybe I'll get around to looking it up.

I'm kinda on the same page as her. 1. I really don't have time. 2. I don't really sweat all that much while lifting weights, but I do reapply deodarant and spray some body mist. 3. I work out again in roughly 2 hours. And it's cardio and I sweat like a maniac... so then I shower.

I'll take a stab... a guess... I am currently living with a very immature person... -accepts when they are wrong and can admit it, -can apologize to someone when needed. -basically, someone who is responsible for their actions. Thats all I got right now... and it's certainly not all of it.

Last Valentine's Day I was sick with strep throat and what I later discovered was mono.... I spent all morning at the doctor's office. But my boyfriend did watch movies with me all evening... Today, I was at the doctor to have my foot examined for a possible fracture. Have no fear, my foot is just severly sore - nothing is broken. I can not, however, walk properly. And I'm taking drugs around the clock. What will next Valentine's day have in store for me? Funnily enough, I'm still kind of in a good mood. :-D

Not too unique, I don't think. If I do remember correctly, many counties in Texas (I'm not sure about other states) have such information posted on the internet in the form of a search engine as well. You can search by last name or property address. I know Harris County (Houston) has one. www.hcad.org (Harris County Appraisal District)

After reading all of the replies... people are incredibly harsh. Also, if you go to her parents for the money... she is certainly going to have hostile feelings towards you. If you don't mind that, then whatever. She's going to think you're treating her like a child... and if you circumvent her... well, you are treating her like one. It was 2 bills. Cox doesn't charge a fee for being late on the bill, I don't believe. At least in Texas they don't. Of course, i say all this and I'm not sure you said what happens when your rent is late. If that results in a serious problem, then things might be different. But my experience with renting is that you usually have a 2 day grace period before they start charging you more money. For heaven's sake... I'm 20. And I'm aware of my finances and I've never been 100% financially independent. Maybe I'm just too nice.

Here is my take on it. I'm a 20 year old full-time college student living 'half-way' off of mom and dad. I work part time. I however, have never ever written a hot check , but I have had a roommate do it to me once. I handle all the bills in the house. The rent, the utilites and the cable internet/tv. Our lease is formatted similar to yours. I write the check to the management company, after I get a check from all of my roommates, just like you. First, I don't ever ever talk to my roommates when I'm really pissed off. It creates tension and hurt feelings... of course, I live with 2 others girls... so it's a bit different. Yelling, imo... never really accomplish much except for establishing in a very harsh manner how truly pissed off you are. it can be done calmly as well. Second, make her pay for all of the fees you incurred. Anything YOUR bank charges you for HER mistake. IMO, that is fair. It's a mistake ... once. The second time, its her ass.

"The Non-Runner's Marathon Trainer" By: Whitsett, Dolgener and Kole I too have considered running a marathon. What's holding me back? I don't have lots of time. Ha, I barely have any free time... One of my good friends is training for one though. She was a casual 5 k runner and after weeks of training she's busting about 16 and 18 mile runs. It is a goal of mine though... I will run a marathon one day.

Strength training is going to make you gain a few pounds in muscle... but of course... if you start doing some intense cardio... you'll probably gain muscle anyways... and more muscle will make you burn more calories... I guess it might all balance out... Developing an eating disorder works well... but I would discourage that... ... greatly. If you're interested ... "The Runner's Diet" is a very useful book for being a healthier eater. I played nutritionist for myself after having read that book and created daily meal plans. Call my crazy (and I'm sure you will) but I count the calories in most of what I eat. I keep a running daily total and the whole bit. Okay, so I'm a bit obsessive. Run. Run a lot. Drink lots of water. Run some more. Well, that's what I do at least. I suppose any cardio will work. Good luck
