    Wow, thats cool to know. I just got my own rig and I thought I was being sensible by tucking it in out of the airflow. I'll make sure its free to whip me from now on if it means no 2 out at pull time. Cheers

    Hey if you went to Spain its cheap. Flying out there is virtually no cost and if you go to Empuriabrava as an AFF student you'd get accomadation in the bunkhouse for 6 euros a night BASTARDS! I started mine in the UK so stayed to complete it. Although more expensive I've found it good as my instructors know me and have known me through every part of my instruction, and now, the beginnings of my skydiving career. Saying that if you do your course at a BPA affiliated dropzone you shouldn't have a problem when you return to UK wanting to jump

    It doesnt confuse me just annoys me. Im mildly OCD and the overlapping rotation of the hand annoys me. Its just as annoying as a placemat not being square to the table edge, the spines of books on the bookshelf not being in a line or change on the table not being stacked in order of size I'm serious

    I removed mine as I had an extra ugly line! I think it would be good if it was horizontal line similar to that you can place in outlook so no matter how you rezive your screen it'll always take up the whole space.

    THey are sold as usable canopies Of course they may be but if they were I doubt the military would move them on de-lined.

    Erm, I don't believe a Cypres has to arm. If it meets the parameters it fires and cuts the loop. Simple as that, its not clockwork or anything

    No, to be honest I haven't, I've seen a few and I just think I'd be happier with traditional analog. Maybe I should try a jump with analog on one hand and digital on the other for comparison of clarity.

    I doubt very much that if I exited at 15k after 5 seconds I'd look at my altimeter and freak thinking i was at 2000 feet but nevertheless I just think it would be a good design, especially as most skydivers do go above 12k. I see military altimeters with this and below 6 thousand they resume onto the normal scale so numbers are still in familiar place ie like a clock. Simple glance and know, without processing the information, how high you are. I don't want digital or datalogging so that kinda rules out the Neptune. There must be something out there surely
