in a few articles ive read, they've mentioned someone saying she just wasnt getting all the attention and glory at her university as she was used to getting in her hometown. for someone unstable, as she most certainly is, that idea makes sense. we'll probably never really know why.what i know is that she wasted nearly 100,000 in taxpayer's dollars because of her little fiasco. i doubt she'll face jail time. if a small fine and community service is all she gets, im going to be fuming. that just doesnt seem fair to me. if she needs psychiatric attention, fair enough, but i dont feel like that should be in lieu of facing the consequences any other law breaker would have to face. not that you havent heard this enough from everyone else, but im getting it too. it started about a week ago. ill click to read a thread, get a blank page, f5 it, and it'll load fine. or just hit the back button and reclick the thread. it loads fine the 2nd time. to answer HH's question, its not happening on any other sites. im following the link on the homepage underneath the 'power search'. not the paypal option, the icon with the visa/mastercard logos. the error screen link im getting is http://www.dropzone.com/data/messages/payments_error.shtml its just a pink screen with the word error on it, and the URL underneath. when i try to refresh i get a timeout error. like i said, its been nearly a month ive been trying to do this...it has to be an issue on my end, especially if other people are able to use the function. time to wipe out my harddrive i think....too many problems lol. its comin' HH, i promise

ive been trying to make a donation to the site for like 3 weeks and in the beginning i got a 'cannot display' screen, but the last few days im getting a pink error screen. more than likely its just me, but this is the ONLY page i cant open. it doesnt give me that screen until i hit the 'submit' button. have yall heard of this problem with anyone else?

just to give you a 1 time jumper's perspective: i made my first tandem at SDC in september. we went through a 30 minute classroom training session, practiced arching, practiced ripcord touches and checking the altimeter, etc. after that we met with our TMs and practiced again. i had a chance to sit down with my instructor, discuss the jump, and then practice some more. because of that, i felt totally at ease in freefall and was able to successfully deploy the chute at proper altitude on my own. under canopy my TM gave me control of the toggles, and let me assist in landing (not sure how much assistance i was though ) i REALLY believe that those are the reasons i want to start AFP training. when i walked in that morning i had no intention of ever jumping again. but when i walked out that afternoon i felt like a skydiver. im not sure i could say that if i wasnt given the opportunity to participate. im also not sure how comfortable i would have been during my tandem had i not understood what was going on. anywho, just my thoughts and .02. i cant comment on the rest of the discussion because i have absolutely NO idea how a DZ operates. i just know that ive discovered a new passion, and a great deal of credit for that goes to how i was treated and taught that day

LOL..... i'm a vet tech so i get at least 50% off my bills..... i adopted charlie and nelson when i started working at my clinic. i foster for the local shelters and rescue groups, and those 2 just never quite made it back out my door ....but nelson's almost 175 already (with at least another 50 to go), and charlie is about 150...im running out of room!!! and im taking in a grayhound next week...what can i say, i love em! i can read 'you are the star that illuminates my heart, coiled in the dark (when we are not together), i love you cuando non ci sei makes no sense to me.....maybe the italian i know is rusty but i would assume from the text and context that that's what is meant to be said, or (when you are not with me) Oh Canada, merci pour la livraison!

most vet clinics sell products specifically for that reason. carpet cleaners and air fresheners. if they dont someone in there can reccommend something. i have one of those mini carpet shampooers by bissel and nothing kills odor better then that cleaning solution, imo. btw, do you notice any of the dog's toys missing? if they chew up a toy and swallow part of it, that can cause vomiting and severe lacerations in the esophogus. also, check your plants. indoor and out. lots of plants make dogs' tummies hurt. 1 last thing to check for is if your dog may have ingested rabbit poop. that is REALLY REALLY bad for dogs. we see it all the time at the clinic. other then that, id reccomend pinning your puppy up in a bathroom or something like that until you can get to the doc. it'll be easier for you to clean, and if its dark and quiet and calm, it'll ease the nervous stomach. hope everything's ok! i think what some people are looking over here is that the kid did break a rule. no hats allowed. he broke that rule. and he argued with a cop. i think most of us know what happens when you argue with a cop. they dont like that very much. whether they only singled him out because of his race, whether the punishment was going way too far, he did break a rule! at my school it was common knowledge that hats were a no no. if you wore a hat in school, you got suspended. did i think it was ridiculous? hell yeah. did a wear a hat to school anyway? hell no. im gonna guess that the kids at marlon's school knew hats weren't allowed. if he wanted to make a statement against racism occuring at his school, there was probably a more effective way to go about that, and would have probably produced more positive results. yes the principal should probably be on the recieving end of some diciplinary actions right about now, along with those cops. but i dont think this kid should be praised for breaking the rules.....
