  1. Am I the only one that thinks the new one is ass-ugly compared to the '89 Batmobile? But it's ugly in a cute A10 sort of way.... (the old badmoble was sexy in a SR 71 sort of way... each has their place) Ah, It makes sense now... I guess I need to see the movie. Both amazing planes too.....
  2. Yes, about 300,000. In 2002, there were about 800,000 officers in the US, I'm guessing that number has grown to around 1 million today. That means that there is about a 70% chance that this officer is not a member. What makes you believe he is a member? Do you have any evidence that would lead me to believe otherwise? I didn't think so.

  4. His personal opinion. Come on, do you actually have a point, or do you just like to hear the sound of your keyboard clicking?
  5. I learned that from watching "Jackass" on MTV many years ago...
  6. Unbiased common sense. Try it sometime. Could have been 75, could have been 10. Neither of us knows, and it doesn't matter in this case. How many resisted arrest? That's so far-fetched that I'm not going to bother even thinking of a response. Depends on who resists arrest to that point of needing it more often. A clear case of "I'm a victim because of my skin color despite the fact that I willingly and intentionally broke the law and resisted arrest and am looking for an excuse to get out of it" Nope. Speeding, driving with a broken tail light and windsheild, driving without a license and resisting arrest.
  7. Why don't you join the rest of us in the 21st century?
  8. Much more so than you. It's his job. Do you realize that the use of lawnmowers has had fatal results in *real world* scenarios? It worked and no one was really hurt were they? Do you really believe that she had to be such an uncooperative bitch and resist arrest? If they used "fatal force", she'd be dead right now.
  9. Did it magically make it look like she was going 15mph over the limit too? Did it also break her tail light and windshield? Did the "inaccurate" radar gun make her drive with a suspended license or be a bitch and resist arrest? You *can* get killed from an asteroid falling from the sky. Your point? It's not hard to SEE when someone is going 15 over the limit. The radar is simply a tool to confirm it. He didn't arrest a law abiding citizen. I'm sure the officer would. As well as resisting arrest, driving w/ a suspended license, and a few other things. Being black had nothing to do with it. Committing a crime did. Get over it, She is guilty.
  10. This may help... http://www.puzzle.dse.nl/teasers/coconut_chaos_us.html
  11. That's what it sounds like. I googled it, but could only find the answer for the same puzzle with 5 pirates...
  12. That has the be the biggest oxymoron I've ever heard. What are the chances of Bush getting reelected?
  13. I don't think they care about the case at all. I just think they're trying to get the last bit of media coverage out of it that they can. What sucks is that it is getting media coverage.
  14. 18 minutes to go myself.... Why are the last minutes always the longest?
  15. I could be wrong, but I don't think 55gal of gas comes out of 55gal of crude oil.
  16. I'm sure you would. That makes about as much sense as the rest of your posts.
  17. It doesn't change the fact that the windshield and tail light were broken. The officer doesn't need proof beyond a reasonable doubt that she was speeding to pull her over either, just probable cause to believe that she was (which is provided by the radar gun, and more than likely confirmed because she would be passing everyone around her.) It's up to a judge to determine if she was pulled over without probable cause, which is where the radar accuracy would be considered, NOT at the time of the stop. Had the suspect not resisted arrest, this would not have happened. Being poor, defenseless, black, or a woman had nothing to do with it.
  18. You're leaving out the broken tail light and windshield. Fixed it fer ya.
  19. Actually, I was thinking more of LIDAR. It is pretty popular in my area, as most of the time it doesn't set off radar detectors. Even if she wasn't speeding, the officer still had two good reasons to pull her over. I doubt that her reaction would have been any different.
  20. I'd say he is reasonable. Ever heard of having evidence on video? Equipment flaws like a driving w/o a license, a broken tail light and a broken windshield? It works pretty well for most every PD in the US. I don't think you know how radar works. Also, did you ever think that maybe the speed was determined using other methods? Yep, doesn't have much to do with anything thats being discussed. When you witness someone commiting a crime on video, reasonable doubt pretty much gets its ass kicked out the window. When will people stop making up bullshit excuses to try to get out of a crime they committed? No, she is guilty because of what a judge and jury saw on video. Duh. Yep, I sure the cops would spend the money to edit a videotape to convict the assbag in this video.
  21. You said that non-white americans are treated differently by the police, yet provided no facts or evidence to suggest it, while at the same time saying you look at facts.
  22. His "Hymie town" comment defined him. __________________________________________________ That comment would be one of a *bigot*, not necessarily a "racist". Blues, Cliff Blood of Soloman the wise. Bigot or Racist, it doesn't change the fact that he is an asshole.
  23. Legal? Statute of limitations - Manslaughter is 5 years if I remember correctly. I don't see how they could go after him for anything greater than that.
  24. I do see what you mean. People would rather make up goofy excuses than admit that they were actually speeding.
