  1. Things must be difficult from your perspective.
  2. I'd be interested to hear actual figures on it. Based on the number of teachers/coahes vs the number of priests, I'd guess that it is more common w/ priests, as the population of teachers/coaches is far greater. I don't know, but I personally find the double standard detestable.
  3. I've got a copy of Brian Germain's book you can have if ya want, just let me know.
  4. Can you please spare us all the trouble of listening to you and hurry up and get banned or something?
  5. I wasn't aware that anyone said they were.
  6. So what happens if you cash the check? The bank comes after you for the money in a few days when they discover it's fake.
  7. Many, many people on here would agree with you.
  8. They make up excuses for what they do to try and justify it. They do what they do because they enjoy killing people, simple as that. You can ask them why they do what they do, but I can't see a good reason to actually believe what they say.
  9. What's weird is I just looked over on my desk and realized I actually have a red Swingline stapler.....
  10. Eh, it was probably someone that just wanted attention, and the news people wanted something that would get them attention. Kinda like when something happens here in TX the news people always find the most idiotic half-drunk redneck willing to say something absurd about the event. There are many, many people out there that will say something just to be on TV...
  11. Thank you for telling my what I would think and do. I wouldn't have known if you hadn't told me. That's the BS i am talking about The only BS I see is you telling people what they would and wouldn't think.
  12. The article never said murder, that's just what the writer wanted you to think when you read it. They threw in the "teenager" part for effect. Do you always believe everything you see/hear in the media? It looks like it. The article is very biased, whats sad is that many people don't see that. The article left out some very relevant information. Who said anything about video? It seems that some can be pretty blind. Than please stop wasting ours. Try it sometime.
  13. I won't get on the roof of my house to put up Christmas lights.....and the tower st Six Flags still freaks me out
  14. That's true of every trial. What-ifs are better than blindly assuming everything you read from an article on a website is true. We can't have all the info, but you were making harsh assumptions based on very little information, and very biased information at that. You claim this is a fact, care to provide any accurate info to back that up? I'd look some stuff up myself, but it is a rather busy day at the office today.
  15. I think Clay's intent was to show that people that do bad stuff over there are being prosecuted for it. I think the intent of the article was to make it seem like US soldiers are over there killing innocent teenagers, drowning and torturing people on a daily basis, and getting nothing more than a slap on the wrist for it. It's pretty much the most biased article I've read in a while, and not a very good choice to make the intended point.
  16. How was the Iraqi wounded? There are some instances where shooting someone might be more humane than letting them sit there and suffer for hours before they die. Also, ignore "teenager", it was thrown in there for the sole purpose of generating a negative emotional response (I would think it likely he was probably 18 or 19 years old, otherwise I'm sure they would have listed his age). Also note that the article never said the he was a civilian. I'm sure there is more to the story than that. The prosecutors' statement was listed, note that the statement of the defense was not. You don't know how involved the major who commanded the facility was, if at all. I would be very interested to hear what was done to the people that actually committed the act. You don't have all the information, so making judgements on US values because of 3 incidents is pretty far-fetched and pathetic. What a joke.
  17. Ok, so they condemned a bunch of stuff, and formed a committee or two, but did they really do anything useful?
  18. Has the UN ever really done anything?
  19. If I remember correctly, the design must be sewn on, hence the cost. Asking someone at PD would probably be your best bet.... Unless it's a logo for a business or demo or something, it's just doesn't seem practical...
  20. I've heard it's very, very expensive.
  21. Or about some dumbass that called 911 because a fast food place wouldn't make her burger the way she wanted...
  22. Yep. You can't equate walking into a theater and yelling "Fire!" with burning a flag in protest of something, no matter how much it would help your argument. They're two completely different things.
  23. I wouldn't fly a plane into a building and kill thousands of innocent people. I didn't ask what you wouldn't do, I asked how would you feel. What does that have to do with anything?
