The SOS sytem on it wouldn't be too good either.

This is a trick question, isn't it?
-
Quote Yup, but most folks call him "potato chip" and can only remember his very loud teammate/friend Demo. I think Demo was on my SCR last year.

Skydive Houston has a jumper with a white canopy and a black skull and crossbones. Rumor has it that he paid as much for the custom graphics, as he did for the canopy. So it can be done, if you've got the cash. I've seen him up at Dallas with that Sabre2 during a few of the TSL meets if I remember correctly.

Stowing twists on grommits, riggers advice please
justinb138 replied to Freeflysmiley's topic in Gear and Rigging
I would have to agree, but with the small HMA line, it is not easy to find a rubber band small enough to make the correct tension. if you do find a rubber band small enough, you can't get your finger through it to open it. got a solution? Duct tape? -
Getting fingers caught in brakeline......
justinb138 replied to Ragnarok's topic in Safety and Training
Stow all of the brakeline. There's no need to have anything there just hanging out waiting for you to stick your hand through it. If your risers don't have a way to stow all of it, take it to your local rigger and have them sew some elastic or tape on the back of the rear riser to stow the excess. -

Do you believe everything you see on TV? -
I'd actually like to jump it, but I'm not sure my legs would be working after the landing.

manslaughter? I'd guess murder & attempted murder. -
You going to have those out this next weekend?
-
You can start in South Dallas, head north for an hour, and still be in Dallas.

Happy Birthday! You going to be coming up for JFU this year?

I don't blame the cops, I blame the politicians.

My brother was arrested in the suburb they mention in the first paragraph. They weren't arresting people trying to get into a car, they were arresting people as they walked out of a local pool hall, even if they had only a few drinks, no where near being publicly intoxicated. I could understand if they were targeting drunk drivers, but I know of two people arrested that didn't even bring car keys with them, as they were riding with friends that weren't drinking that night. Personally, I think it's another one of the local PD's revenue-generation schemes....

I've got one terminal ride on a Smart 220, and I'm very pleased with it. It opened quickly and on-heading, but wasn't hard. Flew and landed very nicely too. If/when I decide to get a smaller container, I'll probably put another one in it.

If you've got all of the data in excel files I could put something nice together in a few hours this weekend. (Its pretty much what I do all day at work) The weather's going to be shitty here so it'd give me something to do.
-
I may be out there depending on the weather. The forecast is looking pretty crappy for this weekend.
-
So has anyone jumped it yet?
-
Hey Wendy.. Have you seen any 193's for sale lately?
-
Get any jumps on that rig yet?
-
Is that the guy that was selling some blue/white 7 cell canopies on ebay?
-
I don't know where this guy was at, but I haven't seen a road sign with bullet holes in it in a long time.
