I'm a tame one.... 1) What is the lowest you have intentionally exited an aircraft (i.e. no emergency, fallout etc)? about 2500 (tame I told ya.....) 2) What is the lowest you have gone WayLow intentionally (i.e. no loss of altitude awareness) ? about 1500 3) What is the most stupid/dangerous thing you have done in freefall? 3 way sit with only 3 or 4 sit jumps (had a blast too... body surfing)... i guess going to Quincy and doing (or trying to do) 15 ways with 70 jumps wasnt too smart either.... 4) What is the closest you have come to killing yourself? that stupid premature opening on exit.... not realy an intentional stupidity though.... 5) What gives you the biggest kick? not sure I get your question... do you mean "what BAD things do you enjoy most"? 6) How many times have you been grounded? none (BOOOORING.. told ya) 7) How long is the longest grounding 8) What do you get grounded for? 9) Any other comments………………….. I think we all have a skeewed view of the past when it come to "the good old days" (before my time)... I'm sure we all feel that things are more controled now, and they probably are, but the impression we have that things are not as BSBD as before probably come from the fact that what we remember from the past are the rememberable parts.... the boring regular jump stories wont make part of the collective memory... just my thougths.... Thx for the clarification Rob! My local rigger though it was steep... and since I never bough spares before , I took his word at face value.... I think he was comparing to Javelins (pure speculation on my part) or PDF (but then PDF seams quite cheap in the UK compared to US gear). Remi Muff 914

Yes, I know jumping has risks. yes I've read my labels and understood what they mean. I also understand that they are there to protect company's from trigger happy lawers. What I also know is that if i purchase gear, it should be made right. The fact that the nose of the Crossfire has been constantly changing to address whatever issue does not sit well with me. To me, sounds like the design was not stable. Also, now claiming that lots of canopies actually fall outside manufacturing specs and tolerences scares me. What kind of process was in place to check quality? So as a consumer, I see a product that appears not mature, and that has poor quality. Makes my choice for my next canopy easier. Remi Muff 914

The reflex is not manufactured anymore (so I assume you meant one as a used rig). I have one, like it very much, but was gobsmacked by the price of spares! I had a reserve ride last month and lost the freebag, and chi-chink!!! about $300 Remi Muff 914

another way to make small changes in the direction of the canopy is to use the harness: just shift your weight on the side you want to turn into. Remi Muff 914
