And I tried so hard to hide it! Who said anything about a better relationship? Do you want to have an ideagasm?

Then you're a fool. Trump's appearance of weakness towards Putin and Russia is more likely to provoke a conflict than anything else, IMO. Do you want to have an ideagasm?

The Libyan civil war started and esalated all by itself before any UN forces got involved. Your claim is nothing more than revisionist history. Do you want to have an ideagasm?

no I didn't - but don't let that stop you (I said regardless of how it went, fair or not, the protest vote would go against the 'insider'. I also commented on those that acted like it was purely one sided as well. that's about it) Yeah sure that's about it... if you ignore the stuff you said that I'm specifically referring to Do you want to have an ideagasm?

You do remember that you were doing exactly that just a few days ago, right? nope - you must have hit your head. do you know who my candidate was even? No, but you were oh so very clearly claiming that one candidate did more negative campaigning than the other. In fact, you said the whole election hinged on it. So why is it ok for you to talk about it, but just partisan bickering for anyone else to talk about it? Do you want to have an ideagasm?

And the argument for the electoral college is what, again? Do you want to have an ideagasm?

No, Trump is talking about making a New Deal - Millions of new taxpayer funded jobs on government projects. this is why it's still strange that Dems don't like him. He's a Dem. Pure and simple. Yeah he's a hardcore Dem.... in one aspect of economic policy. I'm sure you're just stirring the pot here but even so, it's a poor effort. Do you want to have an ideagasm?

Yeah, he was the sniper whose nerves were shot, I think. Do you want to have an ideagasm?

"the inclusion of advisers with industry ties is a first sign that he may not follow through on all of his promises." Sure it's the first sign he wouldn't keep a promise... apart from his entire life and career up until this point but hey, who knew that was going to be relevant? Do you want to have an ideagasm?

Bullshit. You've used that phrase here before, so don't blame anyone else for your racial stereotyping. Black people are not a homogenous group. Expecting or demanding a black person to vote, or act in public office, solely for candidates and policies which most benefit other black people is as ridiculous and racist as a lot of the spewings of the Trump campaigns Alt-Right followers. Funny how in the one day since you said this you've both conceded that the mandate doesn't come from the voters, and asserted that the mandate shouldn't come from the voters! Do you want to have an ideagasm?

Are you fucking kidding me? Do you want to have an ideagasm?

That only makes sense if you think of a State like a person - a homogenous blob with one opinion. But it isn't. In the 2012 breakdown there were only 5 states out of 51 (counting DC) where the majority had more than a 65% share of the vote. And the winner takes all setup of almost every state makes an absolute mockery of the situation. Under the Electoral College the minority in a smaller state not only has to accept that they have zero influence on the presidency, they have to sit and watch the majority in their state - who may have only won by a few points - exert their disproportionate influence solely for the other guy. Take New Hampshire - a margin of 40,000 people took 4 electoral votes. In California a margin of 3,000,000 took 55 votes. That's a margin of 10k people per elector vs 55k people per elector. So you agree that Trump is a proven racist, proven mysogenist, proven thief, is proven to hire illegals over americans aaaaand definitely sexually assaulted at least one woman, yeah? Do you want to have an ideagasm?

Trump wasn' talking about what he wanted to do, he was talking about what he actually does. And now a lot of women have come forward and said 'yeah, he did that'. Coincidence? Do you want to have an ideagasm?

Hillary hasn't even been charged. So what is it that counts for you? Do you want to have an ideagasm?

Isn't it kinda, just a little bit, all about people's rights too? Do you want to have an ideagasm?

Or we'll know that the right wing echo chamber was so successful in smearing it that potential donors go elsewhere. Appearances are important too Do you want to have an ideagasm?

I bet you are........ Um, yeah. I just said so. Do you want to have an ideagasm?

Yeah! There's an odd parallel to this going on in the UK where a proper leftist MP was elected leader of the Labour party by a huge margin, inspiring tens of thousands of people to join the party at the same time. The party establishment decided he was unelectable and undermined him at every turn, eventually forcing another leadership election - which he again won convincingly and again brought thousands of new members into the party... and the establishment is still convinced he's unelectable What Trump has shown, for worse and maybe also for better in some way, is that these groundswell movements can't be dismissed anymore. Personally I blame social media. Now that we can choose not just an echo chamber of like minded media, but an echo chamber of like minded ordinary people reposting all sorts of crap without the first hint of fact checking or balance then elections are, I guess, inevitably skewing towards the attention grabbing fringe candidates and policies. I'm a terrible dancer, actually! Do you want to have an ideagasm?

Depends what suits him in any particular argument. It took him what, 30 minutes to go from 'the voters have chosen, you can't disregard the people!' to 'it would be stupid for the people to get to choose, of course it should be the states!' Do you want to have an ideagasm?

I'm not sure what damage he might be able to do domestically, I would hope that even a friendly House and Senate will be willing to fight his most extravagant plans (like, millions of new shovel ready taxpayer-funded government jobs - not very Republican, is it?). Internationally though, given Congress's extreme reluctance to impose any sort of checks on the President's military strategies then the erratic, uninformed Trump administration could cause absolute chaos on the world stage - either by charging full bore into multiple new conflicts that could all become the next Iraq, or by presenting no opposition to anything that the Russians want to do, or both. Or, he might just get bored after a year or so and abdicate, then we can find out what this Pence guy is all about. Do you want to have an ideagasm?
