And if CA is removed from the count. Trump won the popular vote of the rest of the country since Hillary won CA by 2.3 M votes So? Why would you do that? I'm pretty sure Californians are also Americans. And why is only California on the table? If Texas is removed from the count Hilary won the rest of the country by three and a half million votes! How can you say Trump won most of the country when Hilary won everywhere but Texas with a three and a half million vote majority? Do you want to have an ideagasm?

You will say literally anything, won't you? Do you want to have an ideagasm?

Really? Who, and why? Do you want to have an ideagasm?

Now you are starting to get it!!!!! Wish I could say the same for you. None of the reason for the EC. Who cares? Counties are not equal parts of the country either. They're completely random and arbitrary divisions. The smallest county in the US has 82 people living in it, the largest has 10,000,000. Therefore only a moron would think that it is at all important who won more counties. In any event, Trump won under the rules that both he and Hillary ran under. Sure, but that's not what we're talking about. We're talking about who more of the country voted for, and that was Hilary. Do you want to have an ideagasm?

we know CNN is biased. Now they might be racist too?

You first Oh this should be good. Obviously you have a list of posts you can show us where Jerry frames his opinions as something 'we' all share. So go on then, let's see it. https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#safe=active&q=cnn+admits+liberal+bias Yeah, so I didn't see any of Jerry's posts in there. Care to try again? BTW, you know that CNN also admitted to going easier on Trump than Clinton, right? http://www.politicususa.com/2016/09/06/truth-cnn-admits-easy-donald-trump.html We know CNN is biased, correct? I mean, it is hard to say otherwise when they publically admitted it But they publicly admitted they were biased towards both candidates. Is that really bias? Not even slightly. The one has nothing to do with the other. Whether CNN is biased is completely separate to how Jerry present his opinions. You really shouldn't need to have that explained to you, since it's staggeringly obvious. Go on then. Do you want to have an ideagasm? -
Not in dispute. But more of the country voted for her. This is fact. No More individuals voted for her. Yes. More of the country. No. Not 'IE'. States are not equal portions of the country. Do you want to have an ideagasm?

And 'they' voted for HRC by a margin of over 2 million. I know: The truth hurts Jerry Baumchen She lost. The truth is painful isnt it... You replied to a comment about the 'average voter' not about the election result. More of the country voted for Hilary, get over it. Do you want to have an ideagasm?

Why not? It's a frankly ludicrous extravagance whose only real functions are to propogate the image of the imperial power of the President, and to satisfy the Dr Strangelove-esque paranoia/wet dreams that the US leadership has over the risk of all out global warfare. That said, it's a drop in the ocean of the overall defence budget. The budget overrun on the first Ford class carrier alone (which still isn't ready) is more than the whole cost of the AF1 replacement program. Do you want to have an ideagasm?

Pushed around how? Pushed around by who? Examples, please. Keep them guessing? Do you think it's a game? So... essentially you'd be happy to base the US's diplomatic strategy on that employed by North Korea? Do you want to have an ideagasm?

Nearly always? Bullshit - your thinking of Trump's own tweets again. I did not know that. Can you prove it? Really? Because just yesterday someone else on your side said it was NY If 'nearly all' of Clinton's majority came from CA, then remove CA and she still won the popular vote in the rest of the USA. Is the rest of the US representative of the US? Do you want to have an ideagasm?

No. But at we can decide without the media spin coming first. You do realise that the campaign is over, right? Whether or not Trump looks good in the media is less important than how well he does the job of being President. And tweeting random, radical foreign policy thoughts whenever they cross his mind with no regard for how they might affect relations with foreign powers is not doing the job of being President very well. There really is no limit to what you'll approve of as long as a Republican is doing it, eh? A kid with ADD playing a Stradivarius will make the same godawful racket as he would playing a dime store violin. The consequences are just higher when he gets bored and breaks it. There is no level playing field when a resident of Wyoming has 3x the influence on the outcome as a resident of California. The playing field is very deliberately tilted, as a result of a 230 year old compromise to get slave owners to ratify the proposed Constitution. The problem that Rush has in being so admamant that the EC is right and best reflects 'the country' is that he has to then assume that state boundaries and EC representation was put together according to some kind of plan (which it wasn't) instead of random historical and geographical accident (which it was).* Take Texas, for example. Home to enormous swathes of some of the most sparsely populated rural areas in the USA. Also home to several 'million' cities which account for a pretty large chunk of the population. So any individual farming community or region doesn't swing Texas's EC vote at all. Then if you take Wyoming, Nebraska and South Dakota you get an area about the same size as rural Texas, with far fewer inhabitants and both far greater EC power and far greater influence over the EC vote per citizen. So who decided the prairie farmers were so much more important than the desert cattle herders? What makes that a more accurate reflection of the nation - that some areas are split up small and some aren't? No-one designed it that way, so why assume it's right? * He also has to assume that the founders were considering todays mega-cities when they wrote the constitution, but that's by-the-by Do you want to have an ideagasm?

Trump. Duh. Clinton. Duh. Do you want to have an ideagasm?

The EC math is not fake. Niether is the lefts whinning about the results. And to think the left was the ones bitching about Trump acepting the election results Yeah but to be fair, Trump is such a whiny bitch he isn't accepting the election results even though he won. Do you want to have an ideagasm?

Wrong. The country does agree with him. Then what is 'the country'? The majority don't. The majority of everyone. Do you want to have an ideagasm?

Why does it work so great? One need only review current events. So... the EC works so great because your team won? Do you want to have an ideagasm?

Just because you're incapable of comprehending it doesn't mean it didn't happen. What does that mean, more of the country? Apart from the EC, what are the parts of the country that vote, that voted more for Trump than Hillary? By your definition it is. You can't have your retarded cake and smear it all over your face while trying to eat it. If a majority of people chooing a president is mob rule, then 'most of the country' choosing a president is mob rule. No it doesn't, because that's a ridiculously stupid question. Mob rule is the biggest / strongest mob being able to do whatever the fuck they want with no controls over how much that hurts everyone else. Electing a president could only ever be an example of mob rule of the President was able to do whatever the fuck the mob that elected him wanted with no controls over how much that hurt everyone else. In which case it would matter how the President was elected at all - whether by popular majority, EC, drawing lots, or rock-paper-scissors-lizard-Spock. The outcome would be mob rule by whatever mob, large or small, supported that President. So whichever way you approach it, your argument is upside down and inside out. Do you want to have an ideagasm?
