If you’re that concerned about protecting people from the experience of being an executioner you might simply have to consider that executing people is something you shouldn’t be doing at all. Otherwise, if I was on death row and had the option of lethal injection or being shot I’d go with the firing squad without a doubt. Trump gave his business to his children then invited his children into government. He invites them into international conferences in an official capacity. He gave his son in law (who is reliant on foreign investment) official responsibility for damn near every single facet of US foreign policy. None of this even needs to be investigated, it’s all out in the open. As far as investigations go, the Republican commissioned Mueller investigation ended up with Trump’s personal lawyer going to prison for doing Trump’s bidding. Democrat investigations led to Trump’s charity being shut down because of illegal behaviour that Trump and his family (again, the same ones he invited into the government) have admitted. Democrat investigations led to it being factually established that Trump and Giuliani tried to hold Ukrainian aid hostage for a personal political favour. Nothing? How naive are you?

You misunderstand. Bill’s defence of Joe Biden is that you have no evidence of him being a criminal or influence peddler. Then he’s saying ‘but Trump is and you’ve never seemed to have a problem with that’.

“The tech industry” is a massive, nebulous thing made up of huge numbers of completely unconnected people and companies. When you just say “the tech industry” it’s simply impossible to know who you’re actually talking about. So who is “the tech industry” in your post and when did they say it?

They didn't break the literal reading or the principle. And Joe is arguing about both the literal reading and principle of the Nato defense spending commitments, he's just doing it because he's mad about a different, completely unrelated thing. Which is strange.
