If there are serious withdrawl symptoms I could load up a forum for talkback stuff alone if it was wanted. But fingers crossed, it'd be temporary anyway

I'm not totally sure on this as I'm at uni and these machines aren't XP, but from memory try: Start -> Run, type 'control' Go to 'add/remove programs' (might be in classic view?), then Windows Components (or something similar, as I say, I can't remember the exact name as I'm not near an XP machine!) - then select Windows Imaging (or a sub-window under that) - there should be options to install imaging components, which should let you save files as alternate formats to plain .bmp's. Hope this helps and is right.. if not, I'll do a proper check when I get home if nobody else has come to your rescue! Nick. 'buttplugs? where?' - geno

It'd be a shame if all the work that went into it was for nothing. What's the deal for speeding tickets over there? Over here it's very strict (if you're caught). You get a fine, you get points on your licence. 6 points in the first 2 years and you lose the licence. 12 points in your life, and you lose the licence. Find out what ISP the IP belongs to. Go to command prompt: Start -> run: In Windows 9x type 'command' and press enter In Windows NT/XP type 'cmd' and press enter Type 'ping' followed by a space, then the IP as it appears in the header. Ping.exe will try and resolve the host. Eg (made up): dyn12-153-16-98.dsl.optonline.net The domain is 'optonline.net'. ppp15-3-167-4.dialup.tiscali.co.uk The domain is 'tiscali.co.uk'. Then take this address, add abuse@ to the front, and fire off an email, explaining the situation, including one or more example emails with all headers. Just finished 'Peace like a river' by Leif Enger (isbn 0-552-99935-0) It follows the Land family, living in Dakota in the early 1960's. It's written from the perspective of the 11 year old son, witnessing life and his father's apparent ability to perform "miracles" and his relationship with God. Their peaceful existence is shattered after the boy's older brother kills two boys who are terrorising the family, and goes on the run in the Dakota Badlands, and the story follows their journey trying to find him, and the changing views of the main character through this. I thoroughly enjoyed the book, it was brilliantly written, and well worth a read if you are into that kind of thing. Edit to add: Well, "that kind of thing" is a bit broad really.. my usual book genre is Science Fiction, I read this out of boredom and lack of anything else to read. So that might give you an idea of how good a read it is 'buttplugs? where?' - geno
