    I dove some after high school got a PADI C. card but haven't been in the water in a couple years now. Every one I dove with went to college, got real jobs and moved away. I like skydiving much better though. It takes less planning to go to the DZ and make some jumps then to find a buddy to go on a dive with. I would still like to dive again sometime it is a cool sport.

    0-4-0 Jumped today and could have got a couple more in but I was tired and wimped out and went home early.

    I know some folks up there and they said it's real bad. Water right up to the top of the corn.

    I know a dozen or so guys that would buy one instantly if they came back out. What would Jeep do for advertising if the Scout came back. They (Scouts) were the real original S.U.V.

    Saw one last week in front of the International truck dealer. It's a cool truck but not very practicle. I just wish IH would bring back the Scout. They were an awesome little vehicle. To bad they rotted away as soon as they left the dealer.

    Don't worry it's normal and will happen again. Just this weekend I got the" what am I doing here " feeling while in the plane. It was the first time it had happened in over 30 jumps. As always it went away as I got in the door.

    0-5-1 Not quite as great as last week at Couch Freaks but close. 2 8 ways one actually built and turned a point. 1 6 way got a couple points on that one. A screwed up three way. 1 2 way drill dive. Beer for my first 8 way. Damn this is fun, I might even get good someday.

    Your in a tough position and one I've been in before as well. I don't like sniching on others so I don't unless I think there is a real danger to others. It seems there's a fair amount of drug use around most DZs. I don't like it but who am I to judge, I just pass when it's offered to me.

    I find myself watching the planes go over all day as well. Thinking if thats jump run, waiting for the cut, or thinking they should be out by now.

    I had the best time of my life this past week. I started out making three jumps from the Porter at Paradise Skydivers in Vinton IA. What a great plane to jump from and real great people to. If your ever near there make shure to stop by. I then spent some time at a friends farm in Northern IA and went to the Farm Progress Show near Des Moines. The next four days were spent at Couch Freaks, my first boogie. I got 18 jumps in and got to meet some realy great folks there too. I will certianly be back in the future. I ended up my trip by stopping at my home DZ Frontier Skydivers in Western NY Monday afternoon while on my way home. Got in two more jumps the last being a 14 point two way and I've got video of it to thanks to Jimmy T. I'm sorry to ramble on but I'm still buzzing from all of it. Thanks to everyone who gave me info. and those who jumped with me. Marc

    This is all buracratic bullshit. Most fertilizer dealers that handle bulk amonium nitrate would not sell it to a unknown person. What I meen is that if AggieDave, Billvon, or anyone else on this forum walked into the Co.Op. here in my town and wanted several tons of anything they would be sent away. I've seen it happen, people they don't know who want some farm chemicle and will pay cash and there told no. I have know trouble because they know me. I've filled out a credit application, I have an applicaters license, I'm a regular customer. I have had to buy stuff at other dealers and even if I pay cash I have to fill out paper work. That said most fertilizer dealers don't handle amonium nitrate because of the lack of demand for it. If some stranger came around looking for it, it would realy send out the red flags and the athorities would be notified.

    I'm comming out all the way from NY. First boogie for we as well. Look for a 5'11" thin guy with dorky weld spatterd glasses. Probably in jeans with a Gleaner combine belt buckle. If not a red white and blue RW suit and Jav. rig. See you all soon. Marc
