Welcome! I met and jumped with some folks from Nebraska last year when I went out to the Couch Freaks Boogie in Ft Dodge IA. Your right they are all awesome people, just can't remember there names. If I get to come out there this year I'll look you up. Marc -
I like the part about "we have a lot of good corn growers". Seriously though we should be moving toward renewable fuels at a far faster pace then we are. Hopefully congress can pass an energy bill this year with an eight billion gallon ethanol mandate. That would more than double the current production. By the way where would you rather see your energy come from? A Middle East oil field, or a Mid-West corn field here in the USA.

Well a little more than 4 or 5 hours, at least I think, but you could come up to The Batavia Boogie in Batavia NY. July 6 to 10 just 1 mile north of the great NY State Thruway at Batavia.

His chute was built by some company I had never heard of. It was one of the first things that I looked at. The ride was the only entertainment I had all day Sunday though. I have way too much too do, and want to get up to the DZ this weekend. Besides I need to get all caught up before Batavia Boogie, now just a month away.

Actually there was a little wind form the south and we got up in less than a 100 feet. I would say we landed in about the same distance. I can't wait to go again, maybe later this week. The guy that took me was looking for a place to take off and land and my newly cut hay fields work just fine.

1-0-3 Not any skydiving, wasn't even at the DZ. I got my first ride on a powered parachute today.

Made my 100th jump today at Frontier Skydivers. After a great seven way jump I fell for the go out side we're have a group picture story. I was unsuspectingly hit with a whip cream pie. Thanks to everyone up at Frontier especially Pat, Tim, Spoon, Paul, Kristie, Toma and, Larry. What a great place to call home.

0:6:1 Had a great time on Sunday and today up at Frontier. Got pied this afternnon for my 100th, a seven way that went just as we dirt dived it.

Never noticed the Fed Ex plane, but the Fed Ex building is right accrost the road from the office I was in.

I was thinking the same thing about jumping uot as it was taking off. About fifteen minutes after he took off we saw a couple choppers leave. They both had presidential seals on them. As for the sucurity. I don't think I have ever seen so many cops as there was on Scottsville Rd this morning.

President Bush was in Rochester today and I was right acrost the street from the air port when he left town. I got to see Air Force One take off. I know that thats not much of a thrill but I was kind of excited about it.
