  1. I'm one step ahead of you..just ordered my new IMAC G5 yesterday....for all the same reasons.......
  2. when someone dares challenge my insult capability...I'll throw this one at them...usually shuts them up pretty quick...and makes everyone laugh... Penis Picking, Rectum Rangerin', Anal Avenging, Co&k Suckin', Aids Infested Gutter Slut!!!! Or just a simple ASS CLOWN works great!!!!
  3. One thing that stops me from getting one (shuffle) is there is no screen on it, nor an fm tuner....I just got a SanDisk for $79 that has an FM Tuner and 256 megs....love it.....small/compact and tuner...great for working out. I only use it for travel/working out, so small/compact is the first thing I look for versus capacity. 60+ songs is plenty for travel and w/o. Even the ipod mini is too much money in my opinion.
  4. If the discussion is truly "meccas"....wouldn't West Point be considered one? http://skydivethepoint.com/History.htm
  5. Luckily my sister in-law is a dental assistant and got my wife and I Sonic-Care Elite's. So cost for us was none, but regardless I would have bought it. It's made my mouth feel better than it has in years. I would without a doubt recommendgetting it. It worth the investment!
  6. should have given it to me! I think I'm going to get a system now....still not sure on which, probably xbox since there a package with two games I'd like. Thanks all!
  7. Looking for opinions. Been undecided on which to buy or wait. Thoughts?
  8. None....but what about that chick from Van Helsing????? HOLY SHIT!!! She was in Serendipity too....dear god ....if I got my hands on her....
  9. Anyone tried Under Armour Cold Gear for jumping? Specifically the "Action Leggings", "Mock TurtleNeck", and "Coldgear Hood"??? http://www.underarmour.com/ua2/ua/gear.asp?dept%5Fid=4

    My Dogs Ass

I have a black lab also...4 years old now....one thing I've found is that if he doesn't get enough exercise he gets pissy and lazy. When he doesn't play fetch/run etc for few days he becomes a beeeiotch....but run his ass around for a bit and he's good. They are high attention/activity dogs.... This is just what I've found....
  11. http://www.flyingarab.com/ Under the video tab....there's a bunch!
  12. And when your watching an MTV reality series and right when someone sleeps with some, or this person did this or that, they interupt with the damn political stuff.....but to all that...it's looking like record numbers of voters are going to turn out. If absentee ballots are any indicator....
  13. Just an informal DZ.com poll..... The redskins game yesterday predicted Kerry a winner, what does DZ.com predict..... GET OUT AND VOTE ALL!!!!
  14. Yeah I know....I just talked to them again to clarify and you are correct....4 jumps is 4 jumps..is higher premium...I've searched the site a bunch of times, any point outs to that company would be appreciated....
  15. I'm going to take it to a lawyer regardless. I didn't tell her that I have 4 jumps, I inquired that if I take up skydiving recreationally how the policy would cover it. I feel obligated to say that I've made 4 jumps, but none in the last year or so. This is such a tender issue....makes it frustrating.
  16. Ok, I've been searching for a policy that wasn't going to rape the sh&t out of me for jumping. Banc of America (Investments side of Bank of America) sounds decent, but I'm curious on everyone's thoughts of the rep's choice of words.....Basically we went through what I'm looking for ($$$ and years), gave her the basics (age/sex/smoker/family medical history, etc), then she asked about additonial riders/coverage....I said in these exact words " I'm considering taking up skydiving recreationally, is that sport covered under this term policy? Are what are the exclusions of this policy"? She replied "The only exclusion was suicide in the first 2 years. With regards to skydiving, if you tell me your not currently skydiving when the policy is taken out....your covered...". I then said "no matter how many jumps I make, if I die, I'm covered".....she replied "your covered"...... So how does that sound to you all? It seems fishy to me. She told me that I can go through with the policy (medical checks) and then I have 30 days from the onset of the policy to cancel. In that time if I choose to take the policy to a lawyer to read the fine print thats up to me. So it' almost sounds too good to be true. What do you think? Thanks
  17. This is an interesting thread.... First, I was a personal trainer for 2 years (Gold's Gym & Bally's). I held two certifications, not a degree. That is important information. Side note: Could be related to skydiving. Everyone here on dz.com's first statement when a newbie (like me) asks a question is do what your instructor/ask your instructor etc....I believe you should do the same with fitness (once you find out who your dealing with) During your first visit with your trainer he/she should sit down with you and chat for a while. Things that should be discussed are your current lifestyle, nutritional habits, past training experience, self assessed level of fitness. But probably the most important thing that you should discuss is your trainer's level of knowledge. Do not just assume they know what they are talking about just because they are wearing a polo that says "Personal Trainer". There are many gyms that will hire an individual and do a "house certification" and call them a personal trainer. Find out their education. Do they have a degree in one of the fields (Exercise Science, Athletic Training, etc...), if not, what certifications do they hold, and for how long? Do your homework on this if it matters to you. Did they get an ACE certification by mail, or did they go to a seminar with practicals in the gym along with academics (ex: ISSA- International Sports Sciences Association). Everyone (as you can see in this thread) has an opinion on how to train, as we all will with everything. Personally, while I value everyone's opinion I also do my own homework and try to educate myself too. Some information in this thread is inaccurate, but since I'm not current as a trainer anymore I won't comment. All I'm saying (keeping the attacks at bay here) is while it's valuable to ask questions in a forum like this, to me its more important to educate yourself before you go work with a trainer. Hope this didn't come across in a bad way, not my intention at all. I've just watched, and listened to people for a while now (not specifically in this thread but in general) talk with no creditabilty, or knowledge and its frustrating to watch them pass poor and inaccurate information on to people just starting. Good luck with your training!
  18. The man is fast I'll give him that!!! If there was a timer on posts that started from the moment it was posted to when AggieDave clicks "Post Reply"...we would see some long standing records!!!
