Bush withdrew his support for the "2.6mil jobs created this year" yesterday - it was on AP News. Esp after a member of his staff said that outsourcing jobs is good for our economy! Having lost 3 IT jobs in the last 4 years, I can say that I don't agree with them. I had to leave the IT industry to gain employment again. Now I am in a new area, feeling like a newbie again and a very concerned on my future in this field. _________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... I talk to people all day long about Culinary and Baking - most love one and hate the other....and tend to feel very strong about that opinion. Most people tend to want to cook over baking, but 4/5 people I talked to today wanted to bake! BTW - 5 straight hours of conducting interviews while sick makes me want to take a nap at work. What was the new procedure? I have had a few issues in St Pete's and will be flying out of Tampa soon. Usually at St Pete I am told I cannot bring it on the plane, I have to ask for a supervisor, then they do the swab test and let me on (plus I show them the letter). Also, anyone know where I can get one of the new color Xray cards for my Cypres? Who? We have a thread in the woman's forum where most of the ladies are saying they don't dress up for the dz, and quite a few saying they don't in the real world either (I much prefer that type of girl). Why would you think skydiving men would be doing this stuff? Someone at work came in the other day claiming how they found a great sale on pants - they only spent $300 on them! They then spent the money they saved on a $200 scarf! Then she went and spent $600 on a purse??? WTF? Fashion slaves annoy me - there is nothing special to a person that has the money to spend on clothes with labels that tell them they are special. What talent and skill does it take to use a credit card, esp when most stores these days tell you what is cool and matches? If it is a Nokia phone download the PC Suite from their webpage. You can convert most JPGs into wallpapers. It may be a photo-op, but at least it gets the kids out of their envrionment. That gets old after a while - for some reason last night there was a Blackhawk hovering about 4 houses to the north of me last night - for almost 15 minutes - at low altitude. There is a reserve unit at Midway Airport which is just blocks from my place....and they usually buzz my place a couple times a week, but they have never just sat there. Before Daley had them put up those 10 foot tall walls around the airport I used to watch them practice at night....very cool seeing a black shadow hovering with Chicago as the backdrop. _________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... Interesting - the TFR in Daytona and Tampa have a three hour overlap period today.
