  1. Nicole - I used to have terrible pain in my tubes before I started to jump. I hated to fly any commercial flights because of the intense pain (I nearly passed out landing after my flight to the UK). Also, I would be deaf for about an hour or two after a flight, and one time I had about 90% hearing loss for about 18 hours (landing in Denver). Nothing helped me until I started to jump. The first few jumps hurt alot. After that it got better. Consistant jumping keeps them clear....and when I take a break from jumping the clog back up again. I always have to clear my ears after a jump just after I get under canopy or the pain on the ground feels like a knife in my ear. You may want to look at getting something called "Ear Planes" they are pressurized ear plugs to help with this sort of pain. I never tried them with jumping, but they did work on commercial flights somewhat. _________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... 2. To a certain extent, yes. However, you can only get POP mail on a blackberry if you have support with your exchange server. That works good on the corp level. At least that is how it was when I had a Blackberry. This thing works with AOL IM/Mail, Yahoo IM/Mail, MSN IM/Mail/Hotmail. You can also set up an inbox for a POP account. So, this is more for the everyday person. _________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... I WILL fly again.....
  3. www.attwireless.com/ogo This ranks up there in the "not neeeded at all" category, but it still looks cool. Plus it is a good way to check your email at work without them being able to monitor your usage. The only thing lacking on this thing is a Web browser and being able to customize the sounds and sound events. Phone integration would have been nice as well. The good part is that it will be on the new ATT/Cingular network and have great coverage compared to the TMobile Sidekick2 coverage area. I had a chance to play with one yesterday - its not bad in size and is very easy to type on. But you can tell it is geared for a younger crowd. _________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... I WILL fly again.....
  4. That's your opinion... In mine, I call it blowing with the political winds, and election year BS... It is a shame for the Democrats, that the best they could put forward this year was Kerry/Edwards... it should have been a runaway election for them... Bush was ripe to fall, not becasue he went to Iraq, but because how the post-war was prosecuted at the national level... J Agreed. The strongest candidate the Dems had was roaasted by the media after his growl/yodel/yell rally. _________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... 5. You have no proof of that assertion. Sounds like just more "Bush Bashing" hatred. Bush has even come out and said that SH tried to kill his Dad as to how evil the guy is. His words, not mine. I know if a cop is personally involved in a case they remove him/her from it due to conflict of interest. Maybe we should have done the same for Bush. Once again. It's simple. The CIA said that there were no WMD for years, over a decade even. Which makes you wonder - where did Bush Jr get the idea that SH had "tons" and could reproduce it quickly. He owes it to this country to prove that right now. _________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... I WILL fly again.....
  6. Yea, it has seen a ton of changes over the years. Did you know that is where Styx got their start? _________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... I WILL fly again.....
  7. If you missed it you won't ever get it... Go back and re read what I posted. You ask why don't I say something about it? I do, all the time. And I am proactive in trying to make a change. I also try to help those that are unemployed get jobs......alot more than I can say about Bush. There was no point. _________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... I WILL fly again.....
  8. Didn't have to. You did. Good luck with your choice of persons with character and backbone for your Commander-in-chief. Thanks - you will be right there with me. So, what is worse? A CIC that sends troops to their death for petty, personal reasons (he tried to kill my pappa!) Or someone that hesitates before sending them to their death? _________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... 9. You are full of shit... Nope, I ask each one of them their opinion on it. Part of sales is personalizing and getting to know them. I ask every one of them, and every one of them has said they are voting for Kerry. _________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... 10. 300 Americans die a month from alcohol related incidents... Why do you not criticize that? Rhino I do. As someone that has been hit by a drunk driver and has an injury that will never heal because of it, this is a very personal issue for me. In fact, this injury is keeping me out of the air yet again. I do what I can in that area, and I donate to cancer research as well as a dozen or so other charities. What is your point again? _________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... I WILL fly again.....
  11. John Kerry was all for it. Once again - you think I voted for Kerry? Nope. But I will vote for him in this election without a question in my mind he will be better than Bush, if only just by a little. I'm surprised you didn't say "He voted for it before he voted against it." _________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... 12. And what correct decision was that? You are one of the few troops I have heard in the last week alone that thought it was a good thing. I've said it plenty of times - I see about 15 former military people a week looking for education, most of them are just returning from Iraq. ALL of them have been against Bush's choice and thought it was a mistake. I even had a lifer that quit the service just 4 years from retirement because of how unjust he thought the war in Iraq was and he refused to lead any more Americans to their death for the wrong reasons. _________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... 13. If I remember correctly, half the country was against the war in polls released in March of 2003 (as was a good portion of the world). I know I was against and spoke out against it. I also claimed that the rhetoric handed out was not enough to convince me. There was no proof to convince me that 1000 Americans needed to die, or even just one needed to die. _________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... 14. They swore to uphold their commander in chief's decisions (or the newspaper's, or the UN's, or Doctors Without Borders, etc). They are doing that honorably. I do hope that we fire the current commander in chief. Especially after this. Wendy W. Wendy, I understand and respect what you are saying. These dead Americans died because they gave their word and trust to uphold the American way of life. Honorable indeed. However, their trust was abused and tossed aside. Because of their oath the commander in chief knew he could set off an order and they would follow. This was an abuse of their oath. _________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... I WILL fly again.....
  15. Doesn't Club 950 still have dancing? It may be a bit of a tourist trap, but Excaliber is always decent. _________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... I WILL fly again.....

  17. Very typical of radio to have no tack like that. Saw it all the time. Brutal. _________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... I WILL fly again.....
  18. I'm not a fan either - has something to do with him naming me in a lawsuit among other issues. However, I am glad the FCC will have to find another scape goat. _________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... 19. ....broadcast radio that is. He has signed a $500 million dollar contract with Sirrius satellite radio service. The word is that 1 million of his 10 million listeners will need to subscribe for the company to recover their investment. Unless they change the laws (which they are talking about), Stern is now beyond the reach of the FCC. _________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... 22. I never once said the inner city poor kids were stupid. Please reread, I said it was an escape. I spent three summers working in the inner city with those kids and watched the recruiters come to the kids and talk to them. What was said afterwards? "I can get shot here or there, might as well make money - besides that stuff in the movies is just Hollywood." I'm going to say to you what those in the military love to say - if you haven't been there, you can't understand. If you haven't actually spent time in the projects talking to those kids and working with them, you can never understand just how bad they have it and how they will do what it takes to get them away from there and to help their family. And I've watched tandem students initial a waiver without ever reading it. I'll pick college every time, but then I work in education and will support that over the military anyday. I have plenty of former military troops sitting in front of me on a daily basis saying the same thing. _________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... 23. I understand the need for discipline and respect, even as a manager I demand that. There is a time and place for everything, and if a voice may cause the death of other troops, that is a huge issue. However, there is never a time or place for it, or so it seems. And those that do speak out are often chastized and black listed. I'm also thinking that inflicting pain upon them with violence will only further breed contempt. I understand both what Chuck and Lou are saying about the gravy train and those that just wanted the GI Bill. But often that is how the military portrays itself to teenagers, and at that age they may be very trusting of Uncle Sam and believe all that is sold to them. _________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... 24. Some of the biggest changes in the world have come from just a single voice. Never, in any circumstance should that be overlooked. Maybe some changes need to be made. Maybe next time the fat cats will have to think twice before sending off everyone's children to die in a situation they wouldn't send their own into. _________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... 25. Recruiters, PR, commercials, PR Teams like the GKs, etc. When they are out there pressing the flesh and getting warm bodies into service they don't sell up the horror of war, just all that they will benefit from. I've heard first hand what the recruiters say - and if I made such huge promises in my job as a salesman/recruiter I would have lost my job ages ago. Eighteen year old kids that are oblivious to the world situation that spent all of high school boozing it up with the plan that a tour in the military will make things allright seem to be the types signing up these days. Also, I've never seen a recruiting station in a good neighborhood - but I can walk a few blocks over to the projects and there are two recruiting stations there....and out in the suburban slums SW of the city there is half a strip mall lined up with recruiting stations. If you have lived your entire life wondering if you have a home or food to go home to then the salesman at the recruiting station sounds like the perfect escape. _________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me....
