  1. LOL - picture looks circa 1972
  2. And he's pretty quick to respond to emails.
  3. I'll give you $100 for all of it. Search the classifieds, do a little research and you will find the avg price for all of what you have.
  4. Congrats!! Hopefully I'll get similar news from a phone call today!
  5. I'm looking at getting a used Safire that possibly needs a new line set. If I were to tackle this project myself (which I'm pretty sure I can do, seen it done before), where would I find a Vectran line set for a Safire 189, and how much would I look at spending? I saw that several companies charge $150+ just for labor, that's quite a few jumps. Any ideas?
  6. Sorry, since you didn't reply to me, I never saw this post until I went searching for this thread to re-read what was said. Turns out I am going to be getting this canopy as a temporary until I can find something else that I want, so I'll probably only have around 50-75 jumps on it total, if that. It will be loaded at 1.12:1 Good enough for a beginner for this long? I'm looking for a Safire/2 or Sabre/2 replacement, but to use this for free, I really can't turn that down...... or should I?
  7. I've seen most of your vids, and cannot think of anything negative, or something that can be considered criticism. You cover a lot of the wild exits/jumps, RW, FF, canopy control, swooping, landing, etc. I think they have the perfect mix and are some of the best videos I have seen. Keep it up.
  8. Heh, sorry about that, but that was the first thing I thought of...
  9. Saw that a few years ago, hilarious stuff. "Biggie Fries! With a 64oz Milkshake Super Size, ever step is like an earthquake, you're so wide" I love that one..
  10. I just finished my water, and now I want to take a nap. Sleepy day, and I really don't want to get any work done........ Yes, slow day.
  11. AggieDave didn't cover all of this for you??? The Tempo is one of the top 3-4 reserves out there, no worries. In regards to the strict rules about number of rides/repacks - would you want to risk the only thing saving your life in the case of a malfunction to someone that has been repacked and ridden quite a bit? I wouldn't. But I'm a newbie too, so don't listen to me.
  12. I try to do what I can do when I can do it, and that's all I can do.
  13. Here, watch this : http://www.cajunchickens.com/files/2003yearend.wmv You'll see the guy in blue (Phree) in a 4way and try to stand up and fall below the formation and everyone loses the 4way. He funneled the formation. It's 4:02 into the video.
  14. Picture a formation, one skydiver ruins the formation by losing altitude quicker than all the others and the formation in essence "funnels" I'm sure someone else can explain it better than that, though.
  15. I buy the Starbucks whole bean coffee and make my own every morning. I have to have black coffee, and lots of it, every day or else I will murder someone.
  16. Man, I couldn't watch all of that....poor little mouse....
  17. Lookin' for some mid-air lovin? I guess if the person is small enough, why not? Physics dictate it's plausable.
  18. Dude, it was meant as a joke. I fully support the draft was well. I believe everyone should "give back" a little for their country as well.
  19. But if they did enable the draft and draftees got to select what they want to do, we'd have 150,000 airport security specialists, and 26 infantryman....
  20. That's just your opinion, but it's a marketing strategy that looks to be very successful.
