Good point!! Mine is prolly "Don't spend money. You don't have any." I have my paycheck sitting in front of me!!! Too bad it's all going to the mortgage company.....
-
Sounds like someone's horoscope.
-
some people don't want to come out and state the obvious - that movie was a piece of shit. I believe that's why I started this post.....
-
Who was the originator of this, and how did it come into existance? Just curious how you can derive "non-jumper" from it. This has been bothering me since the Vietnam conflict...

The differences between you and your boss When you take a long time, you're slow. When your boss takes a long time, he's thorough. When you don't do it, you're lazy. When your boss doesn't do it, he's too busy. When you make a mistake, you're an idiot. When your boss makes a mistake, he's only human. When doing something without being told, you're too aggressive. When your boss does the same thing, that's initiative. When you take a stand, you're being bull-headed. When your boss does it, he's being firm. When you overlooked a rule of etiquette, you're being rude. When your boss skips a few rules, he's being original. When you please your boss, you're apple polishing. When your boss pleases his boss, he's being cooperative. When you're out of the office, you're wandering around. When your boss is out of the office, he's on business. When you have one too many drinks at a social, you're a drunken bum. When your boss does the same, he's having fun. When you're on a day off sick, you're always sick. When your boss is a day off sick, he must be very ill. When you apply for leave, you must be going for an interview. When your boss applies for leave, it's because he's overworked.

You have no idea how NOT alone you are. Try working for my boss!! excerpt from an email I just got over a very minute detail (I left out his phone number, like he doesn't know his own.........): , we had just spoke of this before you sent it...do you think you should slow down? I really put an emphasis on "perfect quotes", "everytime" please fix and re-send

I just can't believe that this thread has gone this far!
-
I just wanted to say that a movie I saw sucked, not start the 2003 Great Race/Gender/Ethnicity Debate
-
LMFAO!!
-
Ok, ok......... Jesse Jackson would pull out the race card on that one, but not on what I said. You're taking things into literal context, whereas that is not how it is implied. What does GLAAD stand for? What's that "G" represent?

how is skydiving not unlike being addicted to crack?
DShiznit replied to Newbie's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Crack is cheaper. -
Hey, I try to do what I can do when I can do it, and that's all I can do.
-
Thank you for agreeing with me. Just food for thought, but I learned this earlier in the thread. Did you know that all "gays" (homosexuals) are bright, well educated, and have a decent income? I didn't know that, just thought I would share. And for the record, before anyone thinks that I am gay bashing, I am not. It's a slang word. BFD.
-
Sorry, didn't mean to offend any homosexuals with a slang word. It's obvious that some get their feathers ruffled with what isn't considered PC these days, yet will let other things said go by without a second thought that are by far worse.
-
Yeah, I hear ya. I guess it's all relative. Back in my skater days, "Gleaming the Cube" rocked, as did "Rad". (Still do to this day, might I add) I'm sure it'll grow on me sooner or later, that was just my initial reaction.
-
LMAO!! Too true, too true.....
-
Cutaway, with Tom Berenger, one of those Baldwin guys, and Dennis Rodman. That has to be the most absolute dumbest movie ever. The only reason I watched it was because I found it on ebay and got it for $0.99 plus a buck or so shipping. That was a big waste of time.... If anyone wants a real movie review, I can bash the shit out of it. I have the time...
-
No way. My office is a lot bigger than yours, I have a much larger desk, not anywhere close to being as cluttered as yours, my boss is never here, and I have a rockin' stereo set up. My office is cooler than yours.
-
Yeah, SD Dallas is VERY rockin'. Some of the best people I have ever met. I made my first solo jump from that plane!
-
I paid - Level 1 - Free Level 2-3 - $65 per Level 4-7 - $45 per I highly doubt you can find that deal, but it's always worth a shot! Normal prices Level 1 - $299 Level 2-3 - $189 Level 4-7 - $159

How could you not notice it?!?!

I have been to a few different DZ's, and have to say that Skydive Dallas has been the best one yet. I have been there the last 3 weekends in a row, and will keep coming back. All of the staff there is more than willing to answer any question you may have, or put aside what they are doing to help you. I give that place nothing but a big thumbs up!!
