  1. I went from a sabre 170 to a safire 149, then a Xfire 139.... was a pretty good progression, I'd suggest something along that line.
  2. well, technically a beach is land, but since Perris is in the high desert, you get sandy land...
  3. what Paul said, I turned everthing from my knee down green on one demo.... never did come out of the sneakers....
  4. not to worry... when I was a newbie, I used to run out and watch every opening I packed (cessna DZ, very easy to do), none mal'd. but, I was still nervous. these things happen. Packers who have taken time and put a lot of LUV into the packjob have packed people mals, it happens. dont' sweat it... I think Ron is right on the money
  5. Stretching afterwards relieves tension in muscles and tendons and prevents the build up of lactic acid (which I believe is the reason for some soreness.) Skydiving is not aerobic by any means, but the same reasons for stretching apply to any physical activity (weight training, walking, even gardening if that is physical for you.) But, that is way off topic. Congrats on the many many jumps in 10 days, Ray! That is awesome! I won't jump much more than that in an entire year! actaully you should do both.... stretching after a light warm up gets your body ready, and after word helps cool down... a massage is pretty good too! fast 4way is pretty aerobic, too (especially the running to catch the next load part...
  6. HAHAHA, Stuey called us that one time on the way up, I laughed.... at least we were consistent and Rob would turn the light on early
  7. Hm. Me too. It's kept me grounded since January. Didn't stop me from getting a couple jumps in today - 5 point 9 way, 3 point 10 way. We'll see how bad it hurts come Monday. I'm thinking either drink ALOT!!! or take multiple advil... I wonder which it will be... the wine is now empty...
  8. same with toll operators... I've seen some total hotties working the boths, but mostly not.
  9. better watch that pull around back talk, may get the scale operators all excited again...
  10. oh I had a period of time where I was averaging a ticket a month.... I had to stop that (or lose my liscense....
  11. kiss??? sure, how about grabbing some lotion and rubbing me down while you're at it....
  12. team long in the door strikes again.....
  13. so there I was skiing Whistler/Blackcomb on kind of a last minute trip to meet my east coast ski-school friends. they arrived (late, it was last weekend and the weather in the east sucked) and we immediately headed up whistler to the bowls. once there we started finding things to jump off, and the chutes/cornice's/cliffs kept getting a little higher... so on the last one its a double jump, basically a 8 foot drop, then another 6 feet or so off a smaller cornice. I landed the second one, but compressed and my right knee hit the underside of my right arm, I skied out and stopped, tingly arm/hand. I actually thought I may have broke my upper arm. well, it's been a week, and just now the black and blue is starting to come out, and it hurts more than last week, I'm thinking I may have actually fractured the thing....... which sucks. there that's my little story.
  14. Placerville is in the boonies (sort of, it's not terrible).... it's east and a little south of Sacramento in the foothills. beware, there aren't any good restraunts out there. it's not hard to get to.
  15. Lodi is about 20 miles south of Sacremento.... they are really cool (the dause's) I bet they would help you out. Oh, yea, now you are the slick one, you are! Female, huh? Ladies and gentlemen, I taught him everything he knows....ha ha yeah, right, you certainly did.... NOT, cause if you had, you would have gotten to hang out with Skymamma -- you haven't, I have... so there. besides I live in Tacoma WA currently... that's more like a 2 hr plane ride to Sacramento.

  17. actaully, now that I think about it, Cross Keys built a pond on a public airport. The Monkey Claw Boys www.monkeyclaw.com were the driving force. You may want to email Stuey.
