I really had to because the nature of my position in 4way, that abrasive sticky stuff they put down for footing really does a number on seam threads.
-
I thought we already established that.

Maybe some hot red-head in a latex suit?
-
yeah, they are I used the goop by accident once, the goo is much better!
-
did you use the goo or the goop, there is a difference, the "goo" is the original. FYI... they are solvent based products, you need to provide ample ventilation when applying. The hot water trick does work, but make sure the cap is loose -- I had one open on the wrong end from pressure build up. (of course I wasn't paying attention to it much either)

or, he didn't wait long enough after removing the old batteries and installing new, you have to wait a minute or two before installing them.

This is impossible!!! We are an almost like a military demo team, and he is the only one certified to coach or be an instructor here. I am trying to have my instructor's license but sadly it will take time. no, I don't believe its impossible as I know of a few US coaches that have gone to Saudi and coached over there. You're using a helicopter?

the packing of one of those is going to suck!

they're like 7.50 at DZ;s but radio shack has them cheaper. there was just a thread about them recently. The pro track is excellent, no more logging jumps!

wel, good morning.... I'm slightly blushing over here. I should hire Andrea as my agent or something

You're the only one that can motivate you. People skydive for different reasons, and as they get more mature in the sport, it becomes less of an obsession. Things that you once found attractive to the sport you may not, maybe you have had to have a balance in your life between the responsibities and the desire. no one can really know but yourself..... there that said.. shut up and jump, you'll be glad you did, I always am!

your kidding right? i have this real problem with redheads, and your telling me Angie Everhart is a skydiver too!??!? and spent a while at Eloy? and i missed her wow my faith is renewed again....

I would like to learn and I have a few questions????
weid14 replied to flyinwithpops's topic in The Bonfire
that's interesting as there is more than 1 air force skydiving team -- cadets and instructors included. hey don't worry about wasting anyone's time, it's only HH's bandwidth -
and apparently not to hard to cut away from either
-
I think she meant proper as in correct, as in full on, not proper as in Tea and Crumpets proper
-
any news for today?
-
ok, define cold, cause some people would think that 50F is cold (Floridians, for example). Me, I think aound 20F is starting to get there. I suppose if I lived where it was flat in the winter, I'd hope for more global warming and jump when I could
-
if you live where it's cold and there are mountains.... that's ski and snowboard season! of course if it's flat and cold, sucks to be you!

Jump Pilot training/ratings. Read post below FIRST.
weid14 replied to diverdriver's topic in Safety and Training
I think it lies in both areanas. there are experience pilots out there who have the "top-gun" attitude (witness the wing strike on the mock up a few years ago). and the low time pilots who screw up and crap happens. -
you can't? bummer.

15,000 feet!!! wow, that's scary high. anything higher than 10.5 and I get short of breath
