  1. The time to practice is BEFORE you need it. If you have to come up with it on the spot you might choke. Besides....I was married once.....of course I have it down pat!!! yeah, my ex had it down pat too!
  2. meet,. meet?!?!? meet nothin, it's the NSL playoffs
  3. Probably not true for the same reasons that FUCK isn't an acronym for Fornification Under Consent of the King. See THIS. Actually, after doing a little checking . . . see THIS. yeah, everyone knows it comes from "plucking Ewe" in the medevial times

    So long, thong

nah, just make a trip to the canaveral sea shore south of New SMyrna, the nude beach is that - a -way
  6. end of october, and the weather here is beautiful right now. Remember, there were naysayers about Chicago, too....
  7. I would say Niklas, but he's pretty busy with school, but would probably set aside some time in the tunnel for a countryman!
  8. tough to do on a reflex as the pin is protected against your back, but anything is possible, sounds like the more likely scenerio is a flapping RSL cable that snagged on a deploying riser, but the answer may never be found.
  9. not in February. won't matter. It used to be that te more hot and humid summer air was "slower", they've made improvements to help with that, but in Feb it is cool enough that that didn't matter before and doesn't matter now. There are a bunch of coaches that would help you, Majik (Doug, Joey, Gary, Solly), Shannon, Chromie, Dave VG, Ian, and a few others all work out of DeLand.
  10. both blondes were hot (the one that got kicked off), the brunette though I would have strangled With some Listerine.....Yes....The little blonde one was hot. The Brunette, was annoying. However the burp after she ate it was hilarious.
  11. ok, cool three hours is doable, I've got an invite out there that is hard to pass up. (anything involving cheap skiing is hard to pass up!
  12. anyone know about how long a drive? The prices into steamboat are pretty steep for even early december.
  13. they've made some improvements, you can do 4way in there on all but the worst days in the summer (still can do it, but verticals are a challenge
  14. Chuck, understood, I was replying to Zoltan about the effectiveness for 4way.... that said, you can also free fly in the tunnel (recommend night time for that). anything over a couple hours flight time in a short time frame (two days) is pushing the limit. I've done 3.5 hours in a weekend, and was beat, so watch how much gets scheduled vs. anything else you would like to do.
  15. uh, I highly disagree, of the 4way teams that train in the tunnel (yes you can do 4way in the tunnel), you can see marked improvement, you can fix all those problems you reference (well, exits I guess not), as well as train most (80% or more) of the blocks.
  16. you're dating someone I know?
  17. I know Sonic at the Ranch in NY has one, I'm sure he'd be happy to model if for you..... just ask for the clothed version. (if you've been around for a while, you've seen him in some of the older javelin adds, wearing the little devil ears a rig and thats about it). he owns the gear store at the ranch now.
  18. Say you wake up and you just realized you had a dream about your friends significant other, and wow, did they look hot naked (in your minds eye), and wow, the things they did that you can't tell anyone (well, in your mind anyway). should you feel bad about that?
  19. since you bought a used container, you'll have issues with the fit, but it sounds like the chest strap is riding high on you (around the center of the chest on a guy is pretty good) you're an inch shorter, and weigh less (assuming the container was made for the other guy), which probably means the harness is a little big for you. moving the chest strap will require re-doing the harness, might as well get it re-sized, spend that kind of $$, might as well get a new one. A Tri is not know for whamo openings, any thoughts as to why? line trim? packing errors? dumping in a track?
  20. he didn't want to come out his new little nylon home that's for sure. I can understand why it takes so long to put a crossbraced canopy together now though after trying to figure out how to get at him (cross ports)... on another note, do grasshoppers have genders?
  21. that's it, no more than a two word response to you.... the soup nazi has spoken (after this one of course
  22. So there I was looking up at my deploying canopy, crap, there's a grasshopper in there, I hope there's not a stain where I smushed the little bugger packing him in there. nope, don't see one, I wonder if it is just grass or something. on the ground, I'm shaking the canopy by teh tail to get what ever it was to the nose, finally see it. yup, it is a grasshopper, the crazy thing is, it is moving, I move the little guy out (no small feat as he was in a blocked off nose portion of my velocity). and set him free, he didn't pay me for the tandem, but that he's a tough little bugger to get packed in a container, make a skydive, go through opening then land. kind of cracked me up.
