You need to check into your Chinese propaganda subscription, I think it's lapsed. Also, China directly supports terrorists when it wants to. The entire populace is the Militia (same now as then) and part of the militia being "well regulated" is the militia (the populace) being armed. Also, that is one reason for the amendment, but not the only one. They (the founding fathers) did just use their guns to throw off a tyrant, afterall.
