One guy, who had two daughters about 6 and 4, was concerned about them as they would grow up. Since I had one daughter, we got to talking about it.     Hi Tanya, And, I have an old friend who spent about 1 1/2 yrs on the 7th Army Parachute Team in Europe in the late 60's - early 70's. He tweeked his knee on a landing. When he separated from active duty, the Army told him to see a local specialist. The doctor almost went ballistic, said he was seriously injured & might to have the knee replaced. He continued sport jumping for about another 5 yrs. He, in his early 80's, still gets a disability check every month from DoD. Some fairness, Jerry Baumchen

The local tv news station did a story on all of the people, here in Oregon, who were out of work & complaining about. The local tv news commentator, Floyd McCay [ a brilliant guy BTW ], came on, and said, 'Why are they complaining? This is exactly what Reagan said he would do.'     Hi folks, This photo brings back some memories: I was in South Korea in 1980. I landed in Seoul and as we were leaving the airport, we had go around some concrete barricades. Then in downtown Seoul, it looked as if there was an armed soldier on every corner of the city. It was a little unnerving. The welders could not run a bead to save their keesters. Totally incompetent welders. I worked with steel fab shops, all over the world, for over 30 yrs. I do have some experience in that field.
