Heh...yeah, I'm glad that one turned out well. You know how me and my mouth get into trouble from time to time. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

Okay...this one is really bad... I was at a friend's place, and she was going to play the tape with her AFF jumps on it. Well, at some point it had gotten recorded over with the winter Olympics and she didn't find out until just then, after she had tried playing the tape. She was really upset, and about to lose it, because that one tape contained her entire student progression. I searched desperately for something to say to lighten the situation. So....I grabbed a tape with some of her other skydives on it and asked, "So...what's on this one...the summer Olympics?" If I could have reached out and grabbed the words back, I would have. Luckily, she laughed. *whew* Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

As someone who owns a GSX-R 600, I wouldn't exactly recommend it for a first bike. A better choice would be an EX-500 or an SVS-650.
-
Oh, and I forgot to add...if this is your first bike, that's a bad choice. Start with something a lot smaller.

It's a scam! This was being discussed over on the Gixxer.com forums a couple of weeks back. That RV website was setup just a couple of months back. Run a WhoIs search on it. But, if this is a local deal and you can physically touch the bike, and all the papers are in order....jump on it like a hobo on a ham sammich. That's a helluva deal for an '01 Duck 996. There are a lot of scams going on right now with people 'overseas' who will gladly ship you an incredibly cheap bike. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Don't forget about the Cypres batteries, if so equipped. If the batteries get too old, they can leak. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™ -

I used the citrus Goof-Off on the decals on my motorcycle and it took of the adhesive without touching the clear-coat. It's an orange fluid in a spray-bottle. It ran me about $3 at Wal-Mart. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

I agree with Jeanne here...Golf = The DEVIL! However, I will have to kick her monkey-butt for telling you to move away from OK, though. It's really not that bad of a place to live. Heh....that should be our state motto, "Oklahoma. No....really...we're not that bad!" Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

Follow the book. I would think that the people who designed the rig would be who you would want to listen to in regards to the closing order. As for the bag...some rigs you can get away with that on, some you can't. Right now, I believe only the Wings container can be packed with the lines towards the backpad. Mirage, Vector, Javelin, Infinity, and others recommend putting the lines towards the BOC. The other thing with rotating the bag is that if your bag isn't cut square, your rig is going to look awfully pregnant if you pack it with the lines towards the backpad. I would suggest going to the source and reading the owners manual. Just a suggestion... http://sunpath.com/service_rigging.htm Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

460 miles driven:2:2 I drove down to Eagle Flight Skydiving in Granbury, TX to go enjoy the CASA and some fun with Casie, Wingnut, and AggieDave. AggieDave and myself joined Wingnut for his 500th jump with an exceptionally fun Horny Gorilla. Scarily enough, after almost 400 jumps, that's the first one I've been on that worked. Wingi and I were also privleged to take up Casie and her friend Kylie for their Rodriguez Brother initiation jumps. We brought two new bumpy brothers into the world, and the world will now never be the same. Casie is now known as 'Porno Gatita', and Kylie is "Puta Loca". The nightlife was definitely non-shabby and many spirits flowed. However, Wingi has been in Utah too long, as evidenced by the fact that he kepy buying Bud Light in cans to drink. *shudder* A trip to the store to pick up some Tequila and some Fat Tire ale was in order. We made some drunk dials and I made it until almost 2am and then it was time to crash. Morning came way too early and the effects from last night were still lingering. Big thanks go out to Eagle Flight. They threw a great bash and were a fun group to hang around. And now, the incriminating pictures... Mine went out of trim by about 6" with around 250 jumps. It had started opening a bit funky at that point, and a lot firmer. Then it opened really hard and blew out a cell. Once I had it repaired and re-lined, she's opening like butter again. Stiletto's are known for opening soft when they're in spec. I'd have a rigger check the trim. A pocket slider on a Stiletto is nothing more than a band-aid for some other issue that needs to be taken care of. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
