  1. Yeah it was a fun time. Just missed my 500th tho.
  2. Is what LittleStranger said true? Are you going to be playing for us? _________________________________________ That's right, but jumping comes first, of course.
  3. Hybrid shot from AOT, and 1 other from Capitol Skydiving.
  4. Yes, Halford is amazing. However, for the drums, I would vote for a guy who used to play drums for Halford, Bobby Jarzombek. He tears Portnoy (and damn near every other drummer on this earth) a new one.
  5. Been playing drums for over 30 years, mostly in the bands "Watchtower" and "Retarted Elf". I just started a new band, we're thinking of calling it "Pants on Fire". Our first gig is tomorrow..... 6. Make sure to ask the most important question: where's the beer line?
  7. Next time you touch me in freefall I'm calling the cops, you pervert.
  8. how 'bout one of those mechanical finger thingies?
  9. Are we talking about an intentional touch You mean like a dock?
  10. Yeah, I'd like to know the jump prices too, if anyone can post that. Also, does anyone know if they take credit cards? Is there an add'l charge for that?
  11. My 10 year old daughter's heard it all, and she's been hanging around dropzones for the past 2-1/2 years, so she hears it regularly. Everytime she is exposed to something she shouldn't repeat I just tell her "that word will get you kicked out of school". Works every time.
  12. I dislocated my shoulder about a year and a half ago while exiting a skyvan. The landing from that jump was quite interesting. I was out about 3-4 months before I jumped again, and that was with heavy rehab. Within a couple months of returning I was back to normal as far as jumping goes. I did have a couple of things in my favor: 1) I was 41 when I first dislocated - according to my orthopod, the later in life that the first dislocation occurs, the less likely it is to happen again, and 2) my joints were really tight to begin with, e.g. it took a major trauma to yank it out in the first place, it didn't just pop out in freefall. Anyway, do what your doctor says and good luck!
  13. Just go jump. You're thinking way too much. I haven't spent one second in the tunnel (well a real tunnel anyway), and....oh wait, maybe that's why I suck. Never mind.
  14. It's actually the International Council of Gay Shopping Centers. Hence the jacket
  15. I lost a helmet once. Like a dumbass I forgot to fasten it and it flew right off on exit. I was so pissed. Luckily, a friendly farmer turned it in the next day!
  16. Because the whole married thing involves being married.....
  17. It's definitely worth it at your, or any, experience level. I was sick of my "slow" canopy at the time I took the class and was about to spring for a new one, but after his class I realized I could get so much more out of what I was already flying. In fact, I'm still flying it 200 jumps later.
  18. Sweet. My one and only "rain" jump was from 15K with a rainbow right there at the door. We were right on the edge of it, and thought we'd miss it, but we landed wetter than shit. Still awesome though!
  19. This whole ridiculous debate aside, I love this line: "my only ideology is that lousy reasoning is revolting" Very nice.
  20. I've done 2 tandems with TI's in training. Talk about scary! But hey, a free jump is a free jump!
