there is a place at the orlando airport that will rent a car to 18 yr olds... I forget the name, tho... golden eagle or something like that. if you call the hertz there, they can give you the name.

I was at Disney's California Adventure on saturday. In the park, there is a little kiosk inside a building. Inside the kiosk, there is a video screen shaped like an open book. The book asks you several questions, and then tells you which character you're most like. I am most like Tinker Bell. I thought this was crazy until I read the description. It said that I'm cute and well intentioned, and I LOVE TO FLY AND RACK UP A LOT OF FREQUENT FLYER MILES!!!!! my friend and I were laughing about that one for hours... the book really is magic.....

one of my relatives' SOs was raised JW. He left the faith before he met my family member. When his family found out, they COMPLETELY cut him off, to the point where they will not speak to him, and if he calls, they hang up, if he goes over to say hi, they slam the door in his face. Prior to this, he had an extremely close relationship with his family. He did nothing to them except choose not to believe as they do. I heard the entire phone call on speakerphone. (we are close friends, and he needed some support... his SO was out of town) They first tried to talk to him about coming back to the religion. Then, they threatened. Finally, they said if he didn't they would never speak to him again, because the religion forbid associations with non JW. They then hung up, and refused to answer the phone when he tried to call back. This was over a year ago, and the situation has not changed.

I flew into Orlando (bigger airport, so more and cheaper flights), rented a car, and drove to Tampa. You can always rent the car, drive yourself to Tampa, and then turn the car in at a Hertz or whatever in Tampa. The drive is only like two hours, so it isn't bad at all, and it was nice to see some of Florida.

not sure how good an assessment the LSAT is (I just took it... 157) but that guy sounds like a moron... if you get the flu, just say you had food poisoning... trust me, they won't want any details!

Get a second opinion. I know of several jumpers who do jump with metal, but others whose doctors have advised them not to... get a second opinion. if it agrees with the first, listen to it. if not, get a third opinion and go wtih the majority.

From what I've seen (have had several close friends get involved, and a few get uninvolved), I would agree on the cult issue. Please, be careful. Any group that controls its members so tightly and so completely discourages individual thought and choice cannot be healthy.

they're fighting it because its cheap advertising. implementing the do not call list is going to be very expensive, because the telemarketing companies don't have a way to integrate the government list with their current systems. also, phone calls cost them virtually nothing, (same as spam), so if they even get one person a day to buy what they're selling, they make a profit.

why does a bird suit increase the chances of a spinner?

some viruses will snatch your email addy from someone else's computer, and make it look like the mail is from you, so then if it doesn't go through, it bounces back to you. sounds like maybe you and a friend caught the same virus...

it can also grab addresses off previously sent or received emails, so not having an address book doesn't always help.

if you're using outlook, you may have picked up a virus... they some of them send stuff to everyone in your address book. run ad aware, and an anti virus software.
