Why even use a pocket? I just stick on extras and use them as needed.. Skydiving is not a static excercise with discrete predictability...

I have been jumping a 108 Xaos-21. Ditto what Eames said. One big complaint about elipticals is screwy openings and line twists. It is amazing how this canopy opens so gently and stays on-heading. I had 2 twists on opening once and they corrected without my intervention, and the canopy stayed on heading! This is a significant advancement in design. Thanks so much, will try it tomorrow. Skydiving is not a static excercise with discrete predictability...

The arthritis is gettin' bad again. I'm jumping a Jedei on occassion and wonder if anyone has had good luck Psycho packing one. It would be a lot easier on the my joints! Advise is greatly appreciated! Skydiving is not a static excercise with discrete predictability...

Women love the low chest strap on the Dolphin. I had about 100 jumps on mine and the seams needed restitched. It was cheap and had cheap construction compared to a Jav or Mirage. But man, was it comfortable! Skydiving is not a static excercise with discrete predictability...

My mistake?...I would have assumed a Raven 3 was the same as a Raven lll.... I think we had a similar conversation a few months ago about the confusion in Precision's reserve canopy name methodology. Skydiving is not a static excercise with discrete predictability...

Too many variables. My fiance jumped from a 220 to a 160 and her landings are excellent! She had all kinds of problems landing the big student canopies. I was flying a 150 elipitical and went to a 135 eliptical and it scared me to death! You need to be evaluated and have video to make an objective decision. Everyone's different. Good Luck Skydiving is not a static excercise with discrete predictability...

I have new, blue, Raven lll reserve . I was wondering if this canopy would be good for accuracy jumping? Thanks. Skydiving is not a static excercise with discrete predictability...

I purchased 2 HW's from Roy. He's great to deal with. The best prices and great service is hard to beat! Skydiving is not a static excercise with discrete predictability...

Have you checked out the great deals on Dropzone auctions? Skydiving is not a static excercise with discrete predictability...

I jumped a Vengence on demo and had opening spins and dives do to cell closure on just one side. I jumped with a guy who had the same problem and PD took the canopy back and gave him another one. The canopy does have a great flare but I really don't see a performance advantage with airlocks. I own a Jedei, and my Heatwave (same size) outperforms it. I jumped a friends BT Pro twice last year. It flies like a Diablo and lands like a Stiletto. I think it's an OK chute, but there are a lot more better ones available at a great price. Hey, I'd jump it if it was real , real cheap. But shit, I've jumped a $100.00 Espirit... what do I know? Skydiving is not a static excercise with discrete predictability...

Don't do it guy... Down size with another square, like a Hornet. Do not jump to an eliptical and downsize at the same time. " I only have a C license, so I don't know shit..right?" RIGHT!!!! Skydiving is not a static excercise with discrete predictability...

The company is out of business now. I had an Evolution and it worked well. Used prices should be CHEAP. Skydiving is not a static excercise with discrete predictability...

I used contact at first. After losing 3 1/2 pair I bought 2 pair of SportRX goggles, one pair clear, one tinted. At $80.00 a pair and giving perfect vision, it was the best thing going. Skydiving is not a static excercise with discrete predictability...

I was told you really don't need an extension for the Psycho Pack to work. ( I know a number of people who have Psycho packed for years with no problem. I was told the reason you use one is to lower shear forces at the top of the canopy on extraction from the "D" bag., thus lowering excess stress and wear in the bridal attachment area. Extensions are free or cost acouple bucks from a rigger. Skydiving is not a static excercise with discrete predictability...

Thanks for the valuable advice. Skydiving is not a static excercise with discrete predictability...

Thanks! It IS Oahu. How big is the landing area? Are crosswinds common? Did you enjoy jumping there? How high and how much?? Skydiving is not a static excercise with discrete predictability...

I'll soon be off to Maui for the 1st time. Does anyone have experience jumping there? (I heard the winds are a problem?) My wife has less than 100 jumps and I'm wondering about the landing area and degree of challenge in landing. I spoke to the DZ but they were quite vague about these things. Any input would be apppreciated! Skydiving is not a static excercise with discrete predictability...

Cool Guy! Hey you wanna buy some used gear cheap? (grin) Skydiving is not a static excercise with discrete predictability...

My wife and I will be jumping in Hawaii soon. I could use some advice about getting our gear there. Should I take as carry on luggage, check it as baggage, ship it FedEx or what?? I really worry about it getting ripped off or damaged. Your thoughts please?? Skydiving is not a static excercise with discrete predictability...

You might want to check out "Fly Like a Pro" video. It's a pretty good video on spotting for landing. Also, Cleveland parachute in Parkman Ohio has a VR simulator that is great for improving canopy control skills. They can be reached at 1-800- TLC-JUMP. What has happened to the Auctions here? It seems bidding is dead. Has everyone gone to E-bay?? Skydiving is not a static excercise with discrete predictability...

Between my wife and I, we have a Migage M2, G3, a Stunts, Reflex, Infinity, and a Vortex II. We are pretty much the same size. No question about it, we both agree the Vortex II is the most comfortable and was the best buy for the dollar. Skydiving is not a static excercise with discrete predictability...

Where are the alternatives to Pro packing???
Kirils replied to PhillyKev's topic in Gear and Rigging
The AR video is great. I think it is better than "Pack like a Pro". The video details standard pro-pack with some great packing secrets. It's well worth the investment. Skydiving is not a static excercise with discrete predictability...
