When you have a cutaway and shyt is moving really fast..... ( I was spinning outta control with G forces nearly holding my arms down) .... you never think about RSL on or off. My cut away was radical, the only way it would have been worse is if I had been on my back. My RSL was still attached. Jump 81 or 118 or something like that. I did pull both handles with both hands as I was taught. I think- I beat my RSL. It could very well happen. Quade is a GOD. Nevermind he thinks I try to take over the world. (Just a little at a time, PaulWreck!) Just got a Sony DSC-S70, really coolio. It interchanges some things like power cord with my Sony TRV-11. All of it is a pain in the ass. I punch all the buttons on there and still cant figure it out. I just want to take a freakin picture and put it on my web site. Same thing with video, take it and post it. It used to be easy- now I get a fcked message on every single vido program I have, StudioDV for Sonys, Premier, Adobe this Adobe that.... Ulead.. you name it... same message. On the camera, computer doesnt see it. It is suposed to show up as Drive F. Fckit, I need adult supervision 24/7 Had a nice jump yesterday..... Thing is you can get caught up just as bad with a side mount or top. Mine is a top and I have not ever been close to being caught. But I do know what to do big time if I ever do. Mine is top mounted which is a slight issue at head down. BUT... the quaility of my camera outweighs the downside. I have a Sony TRV 11, which I have been told by videographers is a dream for them due to its quality and extras. I do have a PC7, (that needs a little work) but you wont be able to film any RW with that. Or at least most dont. So my camera can do it all as a top mount. Thinkin it has to do more with what you have camera wise and what you want to do. But safety is of the upmost importance. You have to be really aware when jumping camera - to the point it is automatic. Also I invested big time in another bone head wit a top mount box. Your side mount should have a box also, imo. Whoa, stuff does happen to everyone. Experienced or not. My biggest was the 11 way on my 100th. And it was very carefully planned. All of us going over the dive plan very seriously. The quote thing you are trying to do JT looks alot like the above. So, #1 reason, and most important. I don't like being stalked by this idiot on these boards. I was advised to get a restraining order against the imbecile for Waller county. (Skydive Houston) The way he sounds in his writings he is whacked. Second reason, I was working 11 hour days and 6 hrs on Sat. Then, I was offered another corp position with a company on the AMEX. More $$ and the standard 9 to 5. So, I switched mid week this week. Since then I have been dusting off my some 75 or 80 business suits, looking for my briefcase and lap top, etc. 3rd... As far as my covert operations go...LOL... I helped that lady in another way and she offered me a puppy. I took another puppy from East Texas. He is 7.5 weeks old. He is a Shih-Tzu. So Zipster (Olav Zipster, the puppy) and I have been having fun. Skeet is not amused. Flea thinks he is a cat. The cat thinks he is awesome. Cause he is littler than him. So, thanks for the interest. But, I am super great and a certain best bud is coming in tonight and I could be skydiving by noon tommrow. I should be seeing alot of you guys (not really Houston) near Spring and into the Summer. There is fundementally something wrong with people who dont like animals. And saving humans is indeed a worthy cause. But it is not my forte. Your cause is way more worthy than mine. Justin - Shut Up, you have no right to dis MY cause or MY interest. I have been saving animals my whole life. It started with me at age 3 or 4 with a deer, that pic is on my web site then a couple of barn owls, a red tailed hawlk with a broken wing, then a bobcat I raised from a bottle in college and on to 17 kittens last spring that I stole from their feral (wild) mothers. Those went to super homes as they bonded with me and the wild instinct of the mother cat was absent. If we had to debate on the cause we should be all over its Aids in Africa. Shih Tzu's are worth about $350 to $500 a puppy or more. The person has several breeds and I have put a link on here of examples of the breeds. That the woman is slowly killing. It would be a major felony if I got caught. I would want a jury trial and -IF- the judge wanted to pursue it, NO jury would convict me of anything except maybe trespassing. I would have pictures of everything including the conditions they were living in and the medical conditions they were found in. After explaining that the DA, SPCA, AKC and etc had been contacted and nobody did anything -I believe I would wind up with a medal instead of a fine. So here is what I have so far from watching large amounts of TV. I paint my SUV with waterbased paint change the license plate. Dress in black. Shoot out the night light with a pelet gun. cut any locks -bag the merchandise run like hell, over the back fence into the church ladys back yard to the street in front of her house jump into SUV, drive like hell to a car wash change colors of car and license plate and then casually drive over to Georgia to a vet friends place for a day for any medical attention then back to my current location. After rehab, find wonderful homes who wont tell anyone they are actually stolen. So medical treatment and loving homes for the 'hot' dogs. Which is a bigger crime --this alleged person who is mistreating her animals by neglect then selling them to others who then gets their kennels infected with lice and etc. (She said it was sawdust) (There is a law suit pending.) --OR me eleviating the animals from their wretched caged exhistance. What we have here is a bad breeder with puppies and animals who cant take up for themselves. They are tiny little dudes. Like these in question, that reside at the aforementioned hell hole. Little bitty fellers. I prefer sturdy dogs who have fun. So I am currently interested in a SHIH-a-POM $250 its a cross between a Shih Tzu and a Pomeranian. The Pomeranian will tear your leg off. The Shih Tzu is playful and inteligent and a people person. And the perfect temperment for a skydiving dog. I also like the personality of the Maltipoo.$350 Maltese and Poodle. I ordinarily wouldnt like a Poodle but historically they wont take any shyt from people. And are actually intelligent. The Maltese is a calm and collected individual, playful and likes people. Neither of these will weigh over 7 lbs. A nice one would be a Bichon Frise...450.00 mixed with a toy poodle or a toy doberman. LOL That is how I ran across this story. Have you ever seen those reports on TV where some lady has a ton of pets and they are all starving and have other issues. Well the below quotes are about pure breed animals. The below statements were emailed to me about something I was looking into. And this is about a breeder. "one of ___'s Shih Tzu's was so underfed when it had babies, it ate them" "he was COVERED in dog lice and had NO HAIR on alot of his body ...he had scatched it off" "she was matted with something that looked like TAR BALLS and when I cut one open it was ticks as big as my thumb imbedded in her with thousands of baby ticks surrounding the big one ....she had at least 50 of these" This particular breed is very small, I am thinking you can fit 5-7 puppies in each pillow case and the adults two per pillow case. The attire is basic black, one get away car driver needed. Persons with military background or quiet sneaky experience a plus. Persons who can run fast a definate plus. None of the organizations contacted will touch this breeder. I will... I will not only touch her I will choak her and give here a really big black eye. Knock her unconcious and remove the animals to my care. Maybe it is just another one of my crazy ideas. Then again, I just might be in northern Alabama soon, accidently. Let me say this- I hired a private investigator to check out this guy once ... he indicated (and gave me his card) that he was an attorney... he had never been married ... he owned some houses in New Orleans ... and etc... I got a weird feeling about him, talked to my Dad and he told me ..."You know ____? Well, he retired from the FBI and call him, tell him what you told me. So I did. The man was not as straight laced as he pretended to be and he was not an attorney. He was among other things- arrested 3 times for theft = 3 years in jail for one of those, and 1 for attempted burglary = 2 years in jail, 1 for simple burglary, 1 DUI, 1 wreckless and careless motor vehicle and stayed in jail 5 days, resisting arrest on another one -and on and on. Then we have the drug abuse stuff, narcotics and etc. He owns nothing. Never did and is listed as "In Forma Pauperis" in court documents. He also, had/has a wife and 2 kids. The wife is/was in jail or at least her listed address is Louisianna State Penitentiary in Angola Louisana. He denies all this, he says the records of the state of Lousiana are wrong. ~My mother is still seeing him, off and on. Oh no kidding.... I have owned 3 of them. Every single jump I have ever made -15 student jumps are on my protracks. Only trouble is back in or around June or July one flew off my head. So, I slapped another one on. 2 things I look at in my protrack. 1. speed ~ to be sure I am NOT too fast and not too slow. Despite popular belief it is NOT cool to go fast.
