The big no no with salt water was the days of cotton materials. Since these days items are made of nylon. Just making sure that the nylon is rinsed out completly within a short time after exposure will usually do. in that you change the water at least three times and it does not hurt to do it more then let it hang to dry out of direct sunlight of course. just something to think about. Buy a AK or an UZI, The Ak has worked for me for years with no problems other then feeding that monster. Never had an issue with parts going bad and she fires in the sand. Take that AR in the sand and watch her jam up on you in a heart beat. I had to use that piece of crap in the Army and would only trust it if i could use it as a club to hit someone with. It just provids more fuel to the fire that the orginal jury was a group of LA idiots that did not do there real part in justice. While if it was you or I, we would be hanged the next day but for a washed out has been with millions in the bank and a name that people know they just let him live and then he can just go about and play golf all day while the real killer gets away with the playing of golf. Now I will never say that he did it. But when you look at the facts and figures he got away with it. I would have to say that someone should meet him at the golf range with a special round that would put a blast in the past. In the end dont waste your money on this fools book, if you want to waste it send it to me and Ill send you a real book...... Here's a new way to get out of being Drunk!
kenneth21441 replied to kenneth21441's topic in The Bonfire
KISSING EXCUSE: A Battle Creek man, 22, told Battle Creek police he was drunk because he kissed his girlfriend. The man was stopped on a suspicion of drunken driving on Michigan Avenue near Snow Avenue about 10:32 p.m. Sunday. Police said they smelled intoxicants from the car and that the man had bloodshot eyes and slurred speech and was having difficulty standing. The man told police he had been in a bar playing pool but only had a pitcher of water to drink. Police said the man took a breath test and registered a .179 percent blood alcohol level, which is more than twice the legal limit for drivers. After officers found several empty beer bottles and a rum bottle, he said they belonged to his girlfriend. The man then said that his girlfriend had been drinking that night and he had kissed her goodbye and believes that caused his intoxication. You could always ask your local friendly rigger to make you one durning the off session... Like here in the Northern USA. The best thing about that is you pick the design, materials, and how you want it to go together. I know personally that is what I do with my down time is make jump suits for myself along with repairs to the ones from years past. What scares the Sh** out of me is if the cloud breaks at pull altitude and there is other jumps coming down with me. What could happen.. Seen it and its not a pretty sight. So with that I do not even attempt it unless I was alone in the sky and that is a BIG Alone. Kenneth Potter FAA Senior Parachute Rigger Tactical Delivery Instructor (Jeddah, KSA) FFL Gunsmith

List your main objections to Hillary Clinton

She is married to that man name BILL. Her daughter is one Ugly thing. Leave Chelsea alone, Ill just throw her a bone. She only cares about her own objections in life in that she really wants to run for the head office. Well I got mine at far less the going rate. But that was a MT1. Still about the same. Great to be a ex-Army Rigger from Bragg I guess.....lolol I also have a MC4 canopy that I would like to place in the MT1, but the risers are just a bit longer like 12 inches longer and done want to risk andy issues there.... Still for $1000 dollars its not too bad of a deal esp. for someone that is big.....just have to get a AAD installed and they are off to jump... But do wonder if someone showed up to the DZ with this and a AAD would they let them jump this for there AFF training??? I know of some that have showed up to my DZ at 290 out the door and that was too much for the Tandem program here and too much for the AFF rigs that we use....etc.. When I got home I did the info pass thing and have it set up for Wednesday. But the case in point is like our government the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing and in one hand those are the sh*t for brains that are suppose to know the job to begin with. I guess the system is too kind to those who cant help ones self. Meaning that if I could have my way I would revamp it to make it service to the people and not a pay check to those who just fill a position...... Look at how we are running the system now.... Do you think it takes that many people to run a certain office. When I have managed less people and got more done then these folks do in a week. Its all about keeping there own jobs and making sure that they keep them for retirement ///// Now I am ust blowing off more steam.... If anyone has to deal with the INS's 1800 number forget it. They dont know what the hell they are doing. case in point: I called the number to see what else I needed for my wifes perm. visa as it was approved... So I had to report to detorit office. So I asked them if I needed an appointment like it stated on the web site for Det. the person behind the 800 number said no appointment needed. Just take what was on the approval letter. Long story short..... We need an appointment. A waste of 2 hours driving one way and $20 in gas...... Just to have to make that appointment and go back on Wednesday. Dont trust what thoase folks have to say as they are just full of RED TAPE all over it.... And figure these are the same folks who let in those Idiots..... I am working on a web site for my local DZ and since we all know funding is a big issue I had went with a free server and I am looking for soem feedback on what else to add to this site. I am still working on what photos to put into place. But want to keep it simple and all that. Then before this next session opens I will be able to advertise it and get folks in. Let me know what you think here. Please remeber this is still a work in progress and the photos pages is not really to par yet.. thanks, Ken http://skydivemichigan.8k.com/index.html Kenneth Potter FAA Senior Parachute Rigger Tactical Delivery Instructor (Jeddah, KSA) FFL Gunsmith

I like the dark colored tubs (totes) that you get at Wal-Mart for under 10 dollars they work well in keeping the canopy out of sunlight and keep all that gear in storage for long or short term.. I also add some mint flovered tea bags to keep everything mintey....lol Kenneth Potter FAA Senior Parachute Rigger Tactical Delivery Instructor (Jeddah, KSA) FFL Gunsmith

Deployment is the same as the main. Just that the nose of the reserve is exposed for a faster opening and the deployment bag is called a free bag as it is not attached to the canopy like the main. That is that in a nut shell.... Kenneth Potter FAA Senior Parachute Rigger Tactical Delivery Instructor (Jeddah, KSA) FFL Gunsmith

I am a firm believer in Vonnage. Where else can you call people across the USA at no long distance fees. I try to tell everyoe so it will put a hurting on those companies that charge you $10 to call someone 30 miles away for 30 minutes..then send you a bill for 30 or more with all those tax this and that... What a rip off......... Stay with Vonnage or your other lower cost VOIP.... Pass the word.. Kenneth Potter FAA Senior Parachute Rigger Tactical Delivery Instructor (Jeddah, KSA) FFL Gunsmith

The Governor comes visiting
kenneth21441 replied to kallend's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I bet he should have. It would releive alot of stress and add to more then just shaking hands and kissing babies. Id like to take the Gov for Michigan out but hopefully this Nov we will have a new one, the one here only blames everything on others and all. Sure if you did a skydive shed blame the planeride on someone and blame her rigs pack job on someone else even if nothing was wrong..... Well I guess you see who I am voting for. Not her,. Just venting some as I had tried this and that and seems like nothing is working but I am still trying to keep going that is. While the insurance stuff is hard, in fact you dont sell you dont eat and that is hard wehn you have four others to think about each and every day then to have to try to set up appointments. I keep hearing that its hard the first year and while its been only what three months. It seems I need to try to go more then what I am doing that is one thing. As we all must know and that I am now working on several other areas to hope to keep going , so that one will pull me through and be a sucess. thats my venting outlet to Kenneth Potter FAA Senior Parachute Rigger Tactical Delivery Instructor (Jeddah, KSA) FFL Gunsmith
