I've only received one video so far (Jake's), and that video isn't going to make the cut until the entry fee is paid in full. I keep hearing from people that they plan on submitting videos, so I'm guessing they're all waiting until the last minute to submit them. Since we are judging the films on the 16th of June, the 15th really IS the deadline. Anything received after that date won't make into the contest, but might make it onto the DVD. If you don't make it to this boogie, Arvel, you're going to have one sad birthday girl on your hands. You mean that you used to work for the Eco-Terrorist? No wonder Jon was able to stay with me when you brought him along on one of my flights. While I was focussed on not screwing up and causing myself a problem, I DID see him right there on my right most of the time. Sounds like he's had both of the best helping to get him where he is now. It is completely reasonable for her to be emotional in this circumstance and find that she needs to express that emotion in a way that helps her understand what is happening in her life right now. Hence her posting here for perspective. Frankly, it's good that she has an outlet for her frustrations that enables her to evaluate the entire situation from a few different viewpoints, instead of being on CNN later this year for completely losing it. (I agree with you, KB) And people who have never been a parent need to ask themselves if they really know what it's like to be in her shoes. I've been there, and I feel for her. I used to work part time for events there, when I lived in Spokangelas, and I never saw anyone skydive into the Gorge Ampitheatre. To be honest, there aren't many places to safely land during events. The parking lot is usually full of cars. The vineyards aren't an option either. The only place where you might be able to pull it off is the campground, but it would probably have to be at the back end of the campground. If you've seen the actual ampitheatre, the audience area, even when not full, is sloped down to the cemented seating area. Not sure how it could be done in direct conjunction with a concert. I ordered a FFX and sent them my information before I ever paid for the helmet. In between contact with them, I had a family tragedy and had to travel. I totally forgot about my order. They emailed me and told me it was ready to ship and that all they were waiting on was payment. It shipped within a day of payment and got here to the States in a very reasonable amount of time. They were very responsive to my questions and concerns and extremely helpful in every regard. My helmet is awesome and well worth any wait I endured. My guess is they really ARE extremely busy. I'd definitely purchase from them again. Actually, I think he smoked TO it and just tried to slice off an outside jumper or two. I can't be entirely certain, as I was one spot on the plane away from hero, and I was the last one in. I wasn't actually invited, but I was required to be there by the person who WAS invited. I think BSBDEATH on here has the pics, but I believe he has to wait on Jake and Casie's go-ahead to share them. It was a small but entertaining ceremony.
