Good point! It seems to me that the shows that are innovative and fairly fresh get cut rapidly from the lineup, while cookie-cutter "reality" shows are gobbled up like white bread at a duck pond. You know, I'm guessing that most network execs are people for whom the real world holds no more promise or hope, and for whom retirement is only one more on-camera interpersonal gangbang away. You know, Family Guy came back because it sold a bazillion DVDs and people complained to Fox that they effed it up before it had a chance to really take off, moving it around and such. I've never jumped at Sebastian, but I've heard great things. That being said, TK is right, he's got a great place at Z-Hills. When (my) Cora and I visited there, we were welcomed like returning family members. It's got an excellent vibe and great people. You won't be doing yourself a disservice by jumping there. I'm hearing (whining) from Jake (DaGimp), Elliot (blitzkrieg) and a few others who don't regularly post here, that they are definitely submitting videos for a run at the grand prize(s) of 1hr of tunnel time in the new ParacleteXP tunnel. **BUMP** I just heard from Ward at Mirage and he has confirmed that he will be at Raeford for this event in full force! He's bringing all sorts of goodies with him, so one more reason you shouldn't miss this event. And don't forget that the deadline for submitting videos for the film festival is 6/15/07. I look forward to seeing everyone there!

It was AMAZING! New Zealand is incredibly beautiful. It's almost too difficult to explain it to someone who hasn't been there. Seriously. Even though Queenstown is essentially a town focused fairly exclusively on tourism, it's a great base of operations to launch self-drive tours and exploration from. We even drove out past Glenorchy to Paradise and saw where they are currently filming "Prince Caspian", the second film in the Narnia series. I'm working on a McDuck version of a trip report, which I'll post once I'm motivated to finish it. I'm going back...as soon as possible. As for the TSA, perhaps it was just the LAX crew that soured me.
