    Yes they are AWFUL! My supervisor is an idiot, and we went over mine after I filled it out, and he said "you're doing great, but I think i'm going to rank you lower, because i don't like how you're doing at being secretary of the safety committee"! Now, please note... This committee is NOT part of my job, it's something that I took on extra, and my boss is being an idiot! Such a waste of time! If he wanted to rank me lower due to dz.com, that's fine, but taking something I'm doing as an extra... Please...some supervisors...     the veggie burger at burger king is delicious. Also, I haven't found a bad Morning Star product. They seem to make everything. Their chicken wings are delicious (they claim that they're hot, but they're really not).     Okay I did the unthinkable. I actually went on the scale today, after a weekend of eating junk food, and drinking way too much alcohol , and the results.... -3 POUNDS!!!!!! Maybe there's something to drinking and eating too much junk food. Who knows.... Of course we'll see how i do this friday. Granted the weight that I started with was when I weighed myself last wednesday, not friday, so that might be one of the reasons why it's at -3, but still. it's all good

    Let's see, I've used some good ones... obviously before wanting a sick day off, i also plan in advance and make myself get sicker and sicker. I've used: getting into a car accident (damage to the underside of the car), just make details up then to go along with that, you have to take your car to the mechanic, and they end up keeping the car all day long I've made up that I had doctor appointments (i told my boss, i had to get my femur reexamined going to CCS for 4th of july) Car problems (won't start, engine light is on) family emergency (if you can act, just look all concerned and worried, no one asks you what's up) bee sting (did that this summer, turns out i'm slightly allergic) pretty much anything works!     Hey I'd like to get in on this as well. The holidays weren't very nice to me, My goal is 30, gotta keep myself in line for that CReW stuff (i want to be able to wingload a 113 lightning, and keep it within limits of the CRWDogs). So since I've just started this today, no change i guess?!

    PK, I've never met you, but this is really F'ed up! It's not even right that someone had the nerve to do this to you, or any other skydiver (or any other person for that matter). This is so ridiculous that someone actually did something so low, and outrageous as this. I seriouslly hope that you find the jerk that did this, and he gets what he deserves. I know I don't post much anymore (mostly because I lost my connection at home, and I don't use it very often at work), but this is so awful! I really hope that everything will work out for you. Things always do work out, just remember that, and just try to be strong and look on the bright side of things. This is really messed up, and to the person who had the indecentcy of doing this... I hope that YOU get what's coming to you as well!     I've definitly done crew in 55 to 60 winds at altitude. There's no limit, just as long as the winds lower are good!     well, when i say i was walking, i should probably mention with crutches. I was in a wheelchair for a month (but that's because of an aorta tear as well). I was off crutches though 4 weeks later. And you're right there's no rush to healing quickly... i jump, but i only do it occassionally right now. My leg can't take much more than that.     No I didn't mean you were spreading a rumor. I meant nothing of the sort. I'm sorry you took it that way. I meant the locals, the reporters, not skydivers. You like any other jumper just wants to know what's up. Sorry if it came across wrong. Well i don't know why they didn't send out an e-mail, i just know that I was there today, talking to manifest for a good 1/2 hour.     Hey there, welcome to the titanium club (that's what i was told anyway). I broke mine in late february due to my own stupidity of course. I was walking 1 month after the rod and pins were put in. I still have trouble running, though. I was jumping 3 months after it happened. I still have the rod in my leg, as my doctor said it'd probably be a good idea to keep it in, although i do have issues with one of the pins in my knee, and it may be coming out, haven't decided yet.     I actually just got back from STL. Yes there was a write up in the paper, and it was COMPLETLY LYING!!!!! STL just closed for the holidays. Every year locals seem to go around spreading the rumor that STL is going to be shut down, or whatnot. It's not, just til January... which is too bad because today would be a GORGOUS day to jump
